*Liz Pov*

It's been a couple years since I came back from earth, and I've been bored without my friends well mostly Conner by now he's out of high school probably working on his life, as I look at my self in my mirror

I am my mother's daughter "You look like your mother" I look in the mirror and see my grandmother, she hasn't left my side all these years and I have no idea if she'll ever leave

"I know, I've grown up..but" I sigh and look down at my wand "Your not happy are you?" I shake my head and I hear the door open and my twin walks in "Liz time for practice"

he's grown into a handsome young man, looking a lot like father "Coming.." he nods and walks out as I look at myself one last time I leave and see my parents, they grown older but mother still looks younger

"There you are, ready?" I nodded and my father puts his hand for me to take "Why do I have to do this silly dance?" Mother giggled "It's tradition, a Mewnian princess must have her first dance with her father as has been done many years, so you can't escape it"

I laughed at my dad that was goofing around with me "Dad, stop that's so embarrassing.." he spun me and pulled me into a hug

"I'm lifting your mood up sweetheart, can't believe your turning 18 in a couple days, your gonna be Queen of mewni, it's an exciting day for a queen to be" I looked over at Roman who was dancing with mother

"Why can't Roman be King?" My dad twirls me and moves with the beat "You were born first..and we believe in you and you know how to control your power and wand" I sigh as the song comes to an end

"Princess Elizabeth, master Rowan is here to see you" ugh not him, he's been after me since I came back, but I haven't seen him since then "Bring him in" I groan a bit and as I look up, I met his Hazel eyes and stunning smile

I was in Aw and he's grown into a handsome guy "Princess Elizabeth, I wish to take you out for dinner tonight, if that's alright with you?" I blushed at him and didn't know what to say, I looked at my parents and they nodded

"I..I would love to" he chuckles which is so adorable "Perfect, I'll see you at 6" he walks out and I swoon and my mom wraps her arms around me "A date! Marco our little girl has a date, with a handsome young man, so proud of you"

I giggled and saw grandmother smiling "I must say, he was really charming, I'm proud of you Elizabeth" I nodded at her and face mother

"Let's get you ready, you must look pretty for him..come on Liz hurry" mother pushed me to my room and entered my wardrobe and pulled out tons of dresses and I groan at them, I hate poofy dresses but I've gotten used it over the years,

as I tried on a couple I decide to wear a white one with tints of red, mother braided my hair to the side and did my make up "There, such a beautiful young lady, I'm gonna cry" I roll my eyes and hug her

"Thanks, but no crying it's just a date..not a wedding" she nods and I hear a knock "is she..oh my gosh, look how beautiful you look sweetheart" father said as he held my face "Thanks, I must get going right?"

They nodded and I saw Rowan waiting for me with a smile "You look amazing.." I blushed and remember Conner said those exact words, just thinking about it makes me miss him even more "Elizabeth?" I popped back to reality and looked at him "Sorry, just a little nervous" he nods and smirks

"It's understandable, I'm quite nervous myself, I've heard you and master Lucas broke up a couple months back, what happened if you don't mind asking?" I sigh at that, I dated Lucas but it wasn't right,

well to me it didn't feel like it..he was just like his father I broke up with him and stayed away from him well until he cools down, literally "You know, let's not get into that okay Rowan, tell me what happened to you?" He blushes a bit before he answers me

"Working out and eating right, and dressing and aging better, nothing out of the sorts" I giggled as we arrived at the place, it was a table for us under the moonlight everything was in its place and very romantic to say "I know, soon you'll have to marry a random prince but I hope I'm a candidate" I blushed and nodded

"Yeah..no I mean you probably can, depending if you pass the test that every prince needs to do to be with me" he gave me an odd look, "So, I'll have to do series of events to get to your hand?" I nodded

"Yes, it's pretty difficult..and there's a lot of suitors for me, well that my mother has told me..." but not the one I want "Something is wrong, what is it?" I sigh and sit back on the chair

"I liked a guy from the earth dimension, and I actually fell for him but it's been a couple years since then, by now he has a girlfriend or a wife or kids or something? I just wish he was here with me, no offense to you Rowan, your very charming and polite" he nods and looks up at the sky

"I know how you feel, liking someone you know and realizing its not going to work, feeling that strange feeling and emptiness inside, and none taken, I'm just lucky you finally said yes"

I smiled and he kissed my hand making me blush a bit "Rowan" as he let go of my hand we finished our meals, as he walked me back home, he held on my hand and I didn't mind, we had a lot of things in common which is rare to find these days in mewni

"Elizabeth, how was your date?" Mom asked and I smiled "It went well, I actually enjoyed it which is rare for me, who's there?" Mother looked at my door that was slightly open, no one is allowed in my room unless I'm in it

"Nobody, I was cleaning the mess I made.." she giggled awkwardly and I walked towards my door and I shocked to see who standing there...

"Conner?"

A/n hello finally updated took me sometime to actually get a plot with the story, it's a couple years later and Liz is getting prepped to be next Queen of Mewni and her past comes to haunt her..tell me of you like it leave votes and comments bye!
