*Liz Pov*

I wake up with my hair stuck to my face and I get up and hear my mirror phone ringing "Yes?" "Liz! There you are I wanted to let you know, your mother and I are going to go out from the kingdom for a couple weeks, don't call because we won't be home, glossaryck will keep you in check, bye honey love you, No boys!"

I hung up and crawled up on my bed and closed my eyes and than I realized my parents aren't in mewni for a couple weeks, so I can do fun things..this is going to be fun, I have my wand in peace

"Liz you ready for school?" I get my wand and changed into my outfit and head to school with Roman, as I reach school I see a fire carriage and I cringe because I know it's Lucas, ugh why is he here, as I was trying to avoid him I felt hands on me and pull me towards him "Liz,what a lovely surprise, just the girl I wanted to see..I brought you some roses and chocolates"

I groan pushing away the flaming roses and melted chocolate "Aw that's so sweet Lucas..but I'm not allowed to eat chocolate in the morning and the flowers..you can keep them" he sighs and make them disappear and made a stuff teddy bear appear "How about this? Isn't it adorable?"

I made a nervous smile as I got looks from people at the school "Lucas this all nice and kind but why are you doing all of this?" He sighs and hands me the bear "Listen Liz I just wanted you to be my date for my demon prom, I would ask one of my other demon friends but I kept thinking of you.." I smiled a bit

"Lucas that's awfully nice but I'm not sure-" I was cut off by Conner "Back up demon!" Conner stood between us and he glared at Lucas while he held my shoulders and I moved away from him, Lucas took a deep breath and relaxed "Conner? What the heck dude? He wasn't hurting nobody?" I rolled my eyes and crossed my arms at Conner and saw Lucas chuckle a bit

"What..Uh lovely surprise, nice seeing you again Conner, as I was rudely interrupted by the likes of you, I was asking Liz if she would like to be my date to my prom, what do you say?" I roll my eyes and sway side to side "I don't know, seems weird?" "Of course it sounds weird come on Liz"

as I turn Lucas grabbed my wrist and his eyes showed plead "It's nothing weird or like that, I swear and beside I'm not the only one who likes to party" he said looking into my eyes remembering the day we kissed back home, i never really gave him a chance..I blushed and smiled a bit before I felt Conner pulling my other wrist "Come on Liz.." I looked down at my hand that Lucas was now holding softly and gave me a smirk

"Hey..Just let me know later tonight, and I'll send my carriage for you, I really hope you go" I smile and looked down at our hands "I'll let you know" he nods and kissed my hand and left in his carriage and I was being dragged into the hallways by my best friend "Your definitely not going right? Liz please tell me your not considering on going?"

I sigh and moved my arm away from his grip "Conner I can go if I want to, and besides its just a demon prom or whatever, so don't worry bestie I got this" I said confidently " Besides I have my wand if something bad happens" Conner didn't like  my answer but he doesn't own me because he's not my boyfriend and also I don't think he likes me like the way I do "Liz I just want you to be safe and not away from this place and aren't your parents out of the kingdom?"

How did he know that? "Conner how the heck did you know that? I didnt tell anyone?" He stayed quiet and i looked at his eyes which held guilt "Conner?" I asked in a annoyed way "Your dad told me to watch over you..I'm sorry he called me this morning to keep you out of trouble or anything that seems like a bad idea" he chuckles nervously and i punched his shoulder "Ouch! That really hurt Liz!" "Why would you listen to him! Your my best friend not friends with my parents! God it feels like I'm a child!"

I couldn't believe my father did that behind my back he didnt trust me alone? I frown and completely ignored Conner I was so upset with him i needed a break "Liz come on, I was only listening to your dad's wishes. I'm sorry" I shook my head "Conner..that's enough I'm done talking to you..okay?" He looked at me worried as we sat at our desks and i actually paid attention to the lesson that i rarely do..

After the whole day of Conner was trying to convince me or talk to me but I wasn't going to listen because I'm totally going and I don't care what he or my father thinks. Conner followed me home and i asked why and he said to hang out with Roman which is hard to believe since he was surrounding me and trying to talk me out of not going

"Okay Conner, you said your here for Roman he's right across from me go on and knock and hang with him and leave me alone!" He sighs and grabs my hand which makes me blush a bit "Liz you should stay! Please..with me and your borther on earth and not in the depths of the underworld, with him.."

I rolled my eyes and moved his hand away from my wrist "Conner I'm sorry I don't want to listen to you right now..and I'm actually upset with you..you don't trust me? And your acting all jealous for no reason at all?" I say feeling a little flustered and holding my arm, his cheeks were a tiny of pink and shook his head "But I'm not jealous! We're best friends Liz and I trust you..I just want you to be safe"

he tried to reach for me and I backed up against my door "Stop..just" i entered my door and closed it "Liz! Come on let me in..please" he sounded a little sad and desperate but I moved away and went to get dressed as I finished I called Lucas and he answered "Hey, wow you look beautiful Elizabeth..ready for me to pick you up?" I stay silent a bit and then nodded "Yeah..I'm ready"

After I hung up I heard knocking I'm assuming it's Conner since he hasn't left my house since we talked earlier "Who is it?" "Its me..Connie" I giggled remembering the nickname I gave him at the party guess he wanted me to listen "Dude..why are you still here?"

"Because I feel bad yelling at my best friend who's cool and awesome" I unlocked the door and saw him leaning against the door "Sup" I giggled and pulled him into a hug and let out a tiny sigh "I'm sorry for yelling  at you..I was mad at my dad and a little bit at you" he held tight and nods a bit

"Yeah..I'm sorry Liz I'm just trying to do what's right" as I let go he looked down at me and smiled "You look amazing Liz" I blushed a bit and pushed him a bit "Oh shut up..but thanks" we stayed silent for a bit I heard knocking from downstairs "Liz honey your date is here"

I heard mama angie call and I walked down and saw all eyes on me including Conner who came down before I did "Aw your pretty! I need pictures and don't worry I won't tell your father" I giggled and hugged her "Thanks your the best" she smiles and takes a couple photos and Lucas smiled at me "Ready?" I nodded a little nervous but it's okay right?

As we get to the dance it seemed full and very neutral and a little bland but it was just the outside as we entered the music was raging and people were dancing crazy one of my favorite pass times, as I turn to look at Lucas he had a big smile on his face "So..this is a demon prom? It's like a rave! Lucas I should've wore a different outfit" 

he laughs and pulls my hand as we get into the mass of the dance and
We went nuts and just had fun everything seemed to go alright i thought there was going to be a catch but to my surprise there wasn't as I went to the table with the drinks I saw everyone have fun until a shimmering blue light was in the middle and everyone made room as

no was in the middle which was off so I placed my drink down as I walked closer people were looking at me weird so as I stepped closer to the light i was pulled back by a masked stranger his black mask showed his green eyes and his suit was nicely done

I was almost in a trance as he started to pull me I was pulled back by Lucas who looked irritated and started walking towards the light as I was near I was pulled away or more like twirled away from the masked stranger and to be honest it was pretty fun two guys fighting over me for a dance?

"LEAVE HER ALONE SHE'S MY DATE!" Lucas looked mad and the stranger just began turning me and dipping me making me giggle as I spin I'm in Lucas arms and he smiles showing his sharp teeth making me blush "Its almost complete"

I gave him an odd look as we approach the light as Lucas entered I was pulled back to the mystery guy and he held me close making me feel flustered we danced until he spun us into the light which sent vibrations through the prom and as he was close to my face, i blushed and I had the strangest urge to kiss him but he spun me into Lucas arms and disappeared and the blue light was gone as well

"No! I'm gonna kill that guy!" I gave Lucas a playful look and he looked angry "What's the matter? He just danced with me what's the harm?" "Its not just a dance Liz, that random idiot just bonded with you forever!" I gasp and smacked Lucas "Ouch! What was that for?!"

"You lied to me! You said it was just a dance..you want to take control of me so our souls can be one?! Lucas take me home..Now!" He rubbed his cheek and started walking off to the carriage "Liz please..I just wanted to be with you?" "You mean having my soul with yours forever? You and your father are the same! And I was stupid enough to give you a chance..Lucas just don't speak to me for awhile okay? I need a break" "But Liz-"

"No..I had enough, Conner was right I should've stayed here in my house instead of a the depths of the underworld" I had tears in my eyes as I ran into my house and be embraced by my grandparents "What's wrong?" "He lied to me.." I stayed in their arms all night until they helped me into bed, they kissed me good night and I laid there looking up at my ceiling..I really need Conner..

Conner pov
I watched her enter the carriage and felt Mrs. Diaz hand in my shoulder "Hey..wanna talk about it?" I shrugged I didn't understand what she meant until we say on the couch looking through old photo albums of her son and his wife when they were younger

"Elizabeths mother was invited to a ball which was for lovers and also say of the dead..my son her father didn't like the idea of her going somewhere he wasn't familiar with but she didn't listen and left to the ball..her father stayed up in his room rating nachos and hearing music while he waited for her until he had a feeling something was wrong"

I looked at her odd, how did she know this and why is this important to me in any way? "He went to the underworld and grabbed her hands and pulled her close their eyes clicked and he told me that it was the most beautiful thing he ever as in his life..he danced under the hiring red light from the moon and as he was close he revealed himself to her..she was surprised that her best friend did such a thing and it made her upset because she wasn't trusted.."

I nodded remembering about me and Liz fighting about it "When they came home they argued like any best friends would but deep down they knew it was for the best and my son said he wouldn't have changed a thing in that day.." she took a sip of her tea before looking at me "What are you going to do?"

I was confused because I have no idea what or how I'm going to get there "What do you mean?" "You obviously like Elizabeth..and I could see it in her eyes..are you going to stop this or let it be final?" I looked down at my cup and at her and nodded

"I'm going to stop it?" She nods and smiled "Great..I know where it is but you have to promise me to take care of these" she handed me a pair of scissors "Um Mrs Diaz are you feeling alright these look like regular scissors" she giggles and stands up and cuts open the dimension "You have dimension scissors?" She nods

"Yeah when I want to visit my son or go on adventures with Mr Diaz" she closed the portal and handed me the scissors "Now I have a perfect outfit for you, follow me" she grabs my hand and we go upstairs to Romans room which was neater then Liz room which looked something exploded in there

"I always kept this suit when Marco went to his first dance, and I believe you should wear it too" I smiled and got dressed in the bathroom after i was dressed she handed me a mask "Don't want her to recognize you" I nodded and put it on "Your ready" she cut open the prom and I took the scissors and made it through I got weird looks from other demons and monsters

I kept walking and then I saw the blue light in the middle, it was too late wasn't it? As i look I see Liz walking towards the light she was inches away until I pulled her close to me and she blushed and I did a well we stayed looking at each other and I moved slowly away from the light until Lucas pulled her while he twirled her,

I groan and saw him dancing towards the light and I quickly acted fast and spun her around which made her giggle and smile at me, she was beautiful and amazing in every way as we danced farther away Lucas pulled her by her waist and spun off yelling  at me to leave her alone and she rolled her eyes but I smirked and pulled her close to my chest

which made her stare up at me in my eyes hers seen to shine brighter and we danced until we stepped into the blue light, I felt like a vibration leave us and she was breathing heavy and leaned up to kiss me with her flustered face

but I twirled her towards Lucas and ran off, I wanted to kiss her but not yet..as I get to her house I see Angie looking pleased

"How did it go?" I smiled and crashed on the couch "It was magical..I better get home before she finds me..bye" she waved and I run back home as I put the mask in my drawer and hang up the suit I lay on my bed and think of Liz,

the way she laughed and looked at me..I never wanted to forget that moment when we were so close, it felt like the world around us didn't matter and just us did.. after smiling like a idiot I got a text from her

Liz👑: Conner..I need you 😢
Me: I'll be right there 🏃
Liz 👑: Thanks your the best 😊❤

I smiled and got dressed in my casual clothes and knocked on her door I was immediately tackled into an embrace and I rubbed her back

"I should've listened to you..he tricked me trying to combine my souls with his but now I'm bonded with a mystery stranger that I'll never see again.."

I wiped her tears and and picked her up and placed her on the couch and we talked..she was talking about how fun it was at first but after that it just was a disaster and then she blushed talking about the mystery guy which was me but she didn't know

"He was so interesting..he had a charming smile but he never spoke as his dance moves carried us away..to be honest I almost kissed him" I acted surprised "What? But you barely know the dude" she nudges me and we giggle on how I love her giggle

"So he was really cool I wished he showed me who he was? It felt like I saw a future between us and I just lost myself..I'm over doing it right?" I nod a bit "Yeah a little but at least he saved you right?"

She nods "He did, even if I'll never see him again but who cares right? I don't need boys right now I'm happy being a lone wolf and you bring by my side" i nod "Totally"
