Chapter 9
Elizabeth was riding on her motorcycle towards her destination. The city was bustling with people and there were smells of both sweat, burnt tires, spices and more. The cars beside her were honking at the traffic. The light was red. Elizabeth stayed calm. She wanted to finish her mission faster, getting angry wouldn't get her anywhere. The traffic started moving again to her relief. It only took her twenty minutes to get there.
There was nothing much. It was your everage and stereotypical creepy neighborhood with gangs. There were puddles of piss and graffiti on the walls. And oh there was a passed out elf with a bloody nose too!
She had to be careful, asking around for her target would just put a hit list on her back. So she'd had to sneak around while listening to gain anything on where he might be. Elizabeth already knew what he looked like. Toned muscles, slight gray hairs amidst his brown ones, slight double chin, tattoos, shorter than the average man, green eyes that always looked like they were glaring, decked out in expensive ass clothing and jewelry.
His hair was that of an undercut haircut. He was always seen smoking and he has a big beard. Quite the strong guy! Want to know something? This guy we're talking about is a cave man only dressed fancy.
Earlier Elizabeth had stopped to dress into less colorful clothing at her group's base. She'd be obvious if seen and they'd chase after and kill her. Can't have that, can we? She was wearing dark clothing. Dark blue jeans, black hoodie, black mask and shirt and dark red shoes.
She didn't waste anymore time and she started moving. She was quite surprised to see it didn't take too long. Diovachi was found at a broken down house with cracked windows. His gang surrounded him and Elizabeth was frustrated at the lack of opening. She decided not to do it yet and wait until he was alone. It seemed like he'd never be left alone, but finally he was. It was four o'clock in the afternoon.
His gang were off somewhere and he sat on the stairs of the house. He had put out his cigarette. He was now hungry and eating a plate full of raw meat and vegetables. He grunted and wiped the drool off his face then started shoving the food inside his mouth with bare hands like an animal. Elizabeth cautiously treaded into his view and checked his breathing. He was indeed asleep. She slipped on gloves from her pocket. You see, the gloves are special.
They're high tech and were made by a friend of the Professor's as a favor. The professor apparently saved her. Regardless, Elizabeth pressed a button on the gloves and it buzzed before glowing. She pointed her hands towards his neck.Thin and strong flexible threads laced with poison, shot out and wrapped around it. The cuts were made small and simple. The poison from the threads seeped into the neck.
She knew her work was half done. All that was left was escaping and waiting for news about his death, so the client could see that she succeeded. She stuffed the gloves back in her pockets and ran to her bike. However when she got there it was gone. She panicked. She didn't feel any presence and certainly didn't hear anything. How did it disappear?! She walked backwards and bumped into someone and she turned. Shit!
