Clash of Champions (September 13)

Mauro: tonight's main event will be an unsanctioned match for the Universal Championship as Alex Auditore will take on Buddy Murphy.

Graves: for those who don't know what an unsanctioned match is, here's what it means. Alex Auditore and Buddy Murphy are in a legit and unscripted fight. The WWE will claim no responsibility to whatever happens between these two. If you want to see an example of an unsanctioned match, watch the one between former tag partners Johnny Gargano and Tomasso Ciampa.

Mauro: the ways you can win an unsanctioned match is by pinfall, submission or if the referee gets involved to stop the match.

Mauro: the foundation of this controversial stipulation all started after the Raw Women's Champion Alexa Bliss broke up with her then boyfriend Buddy Murphy. As Murphy was about to physically hit Bliss, Alex Auditore came to her rescue.

Graves: Alexa Bliss has found a new boyfriend in the form of the Pinoy Prince. Auditore must be one lucky man.

Mauro: tonight the personal war between Auditore and Murphy will end. I guarantee one of these men will not be able to make it on their feet.

(Backstage)

Alexa: is he crazy babe?

Alex: I guess so

Alexa: an unsanctioned match? You know WWE won't be responsible for what happens between you two.

Alex: I understand. I watched the exact same match between Gargano and Ciampa and Jericho and HBK.

Alexa: no matter what happens; please be careful babe.

Alex: I will babe. This war between me and Murphy will end tonight.

(35 minutes later and into the match)

Graves: my god, this is going to end badly.

Small drops of blood stained the ring canvas, but it wasn't my blood. Murphy had blood coming down on the side of his head while we were both laid out. Weapons ranging from chairs, kendo sticks and broken tables littered the ring.

Mauro: Buddy Murphy asked for this match, and look what that got him into.

Murphy and I struggled to stand on our feet. As we make it on our feet, we started to trade punches.

Graves: how are these two still standing and trading punches?

Murphy blocked one punch and he kicked me in the gut and set me up for his finisher on the chair. He got me up for his finisher.

Graves: Buddy Murphy with the Murphy's Law to Auditore on the chair!

Mauro: the impact may have taken some damage on Murphy as well. He is struggling to go for the pin.

Murphy slowly crawled to my body and he went for the pin.

Mauro: oh my god, Auditore had his shoulder up!

Graves: how is he still fighting?

As Murphy and I lay out motionless, I heard voices running through my head.

Kenny: come on my protégé, keep fighting.

Matt: come on man

Nick: never give up, Alex

TJP: end it once and for all

Randy: come on Alex, finish it.

I was still laid out motionless and breathing fast. Unbeknownst to me Murphy was moving and struggling to get to his feet. As all hope is lost for me, I heard one more voice in my head.

Alexa: come on babe, you can do this. I believe in you my Prince. Keep fighting, babe. I love you.

After that I started to move, I formed fists with my hands and used them as leverage to stand up. As I was back on my feet, the crowd cheered loudly.

Mauro: both men back on their feet and oh Auditore levels Murphy with a clothesline.

I continued to level Murphy with some of my signature moves. Then I did the Bullet Club gun taunt.

Mauro: Auditore paying homage to his Bullet Club brethren.

I got Murphy up and I held him by the hair. Then I delivered the Bullet Club gun taunt to his head.

Graves: Auditore delivers the final shot, AKO! Auditore is paying homage to his mentor Randy Orton.

Mauro: he's not going for the pin; he's looking at the top turnbuckle.

I taught to myself that should I go for the pin, but I had one more ace up my sleeve. I climbed to the top turnbuckle and jumped.

Corey: oh my god! Auditore flattened Murphy with the Twisted Bliss, his girlfriend Alexa Bliss' finisher.

Mauro: that was revenge for Bliss on behalf of Auditore. Oh he goes for the pin.

Announcer: here is your winner of the unsanctioned match and still Universal Champion, Alex Auditore!

Mauro: the personal war between the Pinoy Prince and the Juggernaut has ended.

As I lay out on the ring from exhaustion, Alexa ran down to the ring and came to my side.

Graves: Auditore's girlfriend, the Raw Women's Champion Alexa Bliss is helping the Pinoy Prince to his feet.

As I was finally on my feet and I regained consciousness, the referee gave me my title, and Alexa had my arm around her. I smiled and I had my hands on her cheeks and told her.

Alex: the war is over, babe

She proceeded to hug me and then she had her hands on my cheeks.

Alexa: I love you.

Then she pulled my head in and gave me a kiss while I raised the Universal title over our heads.
