It was my 10th monthsary with Alexa, and my plan was to take her out to a fancy restaurant that Finn and Bayley recommended. I was wearing a black shirt and tie, blue pants and dress shoes, and Alexa was wearing a blue dress that matches her eyes.

Alex: you look so beautiful babe

Alexa: you look so handsome.

We got in my car and drove to the restaurant.

Alexa: this place is not bad

Alex: Finn and Bayley recommended it.

I held out my arm.

Alex: shall we Miss Bliss?

Alexa: we shall.

She took my arm and we walked in. The restaurant was fancy, but not too fancy, we noticed a booth and I tell the maître'd.

Alex: we want to rent that booth, sir.

Maître'd: okay, sir, ma'am the booth is yours.

We went to the booth and sat down.

Alexa: I thought you don't do fancy, Alex?

Alex: well this place is affordable though

We held our hands.

Alexa: 10 months together, can't you believe it?

Alex: I thought it was a dream, but good thing it's not.

Alexa laughed and then she looked at me in my eyes.

Alexa: you complete me, babe.

A tear nearly came down from my eye, but I wiped it away.

Alex: I love you so much, Alexa.

Alexa: I love you too.

A few minutes later, we ate our food, and then we rode back to our hotel room.

Alexa: that was the greatest monthsary we ever celebrated.

Alex: it would be different if we were engaged.

Alexa: I know; I hope that day will come.

Alex: me too, babe.

She hugged me and we kissed each other on the lips.
