The aquamarine waters gushed at his legs. The soothing feeling of the cold water made him happy. Basking in the glory of the morning sunlight. He slowly stood up and climbed his tower, sitting on the roof.

As he sat gazing at the Island that stood beautiful and proud across the water he spotted the prince talking his morning rounds.

"So enchanting." He breathed out. His green eyes sparkling in awe.

Byun Baekhyun was the name of this certain person. And he had a long time crush on the Elven prince across the waters of the isle.

Baekhyun had keen eyesight that he was able to see for miles and miles. Well staring at his crush was his daily routine, he enjoyed looking at the handsome boy that lived faraway.

Just then in the distance a dragon came crashing onto him.

"Baek Hee can't you be a bit more careful silly?" Baekhyun helped his sister up.

"Omo Baekhyun. We are in trouble." She said trying to catch her breath.

Baek Hee was Baekhyuns twin sister. They were so Identical that even their mother had difficulty in finding which one was who. Baekhyun though a boy represented more of a girl.

Both the twins had blood red hair. Emerald green eyes a button nose and a petite body frame with beautiful fingers and flawless porcelien skin. Their eyes would turn into cresents when they laughed and their thin naturally pink lips formed a box shape when they smiled.

Identical as much that both were regarded as pretty boys or sometimes beautiful girls.

"Whats wrong Baekhee." Baekhyun wrapped his hand around her shoulders.

"Baek. I overheard mom and dad saying something like we are leaving the Isle. And your gonna marry someone in the fortress across the ocean." She cried looking up at her tall twin brother.

"WHAT??" The petite boys eyes widened. "Lets meet them." He said pulling his equally tall twin sister along with him.

Well the Dragons could see the world on the neighboring island but they were restricted to go there. A magical barrier shut them out. They were free here. They could spread their wings and fly to their hearts content.

But they were in the verge of loosing that. The twins were fire breathing dragons. A race of legendary royalty of times. And they were the last heirs of their kind.

"Mom...Dad...What's Baek hee telling about leaving the Isle?" Baekhyun questioned his parents upon reaching their chambers.

"Son come here. You too my girl." Their father sighed and ushered them closer. "Listen carefully." Their mother started.

"As we all know, you two are the last breed of the legendary fire breathing dragons that can take the form of humans. So you will be sent to the human world. And Baekhyun is said to be married to the Elven crowned prince Park Chanyeol.

Kids, the Isle is falling apart and as faithful dragons we shall die with it. You are our final hope and only you can continue our legacy.

But living under Elven folklore is dangerous. There human men who crave for the dragons heart of immortality. So hide your identity.

Baek hee listen to your brother at all circumstances. And Baekhyun your sister is a part of you. Protect her.

Once you set foot on the Island of Humans be calm and hide your beasts well. Do not loose your temper and breath fire. You might get killed.

You'll be married as soon as you enter the Elven territory. Your fathers best friend will guide you through the bridge.

The keeper of gates would let you through tonight at midnight.

Go and do not grieve for our loss. Dragons live long but we will move farther and the journey is brutal.

My dear children we love you and please hide your identity but don't change who you are at heart.

Your red hair and green eyes are a divine beauty only legendary dragons possess.

And your amulets and tattoos will forever keep us connected." Their parents hugged them with tears flowing down.

"But mom I don't love him." Baekhyun sobbed.

Their mother smiled caressing her son's cheek.

"Son, He who admires one man for as long as he's lived should learn how to love him." She kissed his cheek.

"But mom. Chanyeol does not love me even though I stalk him and he's my crush." Baekhyun realized it was Chanyeol who he had been crushing on for so long.

"Time will heal everything. Suho will take you at the end of the gates okay. Be brave my children." Their father hugged them tightly.

As midnight crashed in the twins left their birth place. Their freedom and happiness. Their friends and family. Everything was left behind and they crossed the bridge to that lead to their future. They left the dragon territory where they belonged and set out to live as humans.

At the end stood a handsome man. He was crippled but his smile made the twins smile for the first time on this agonizing day.

"Why are you limping?" Baekhee pointed at Suho's leg.

"Let me introduce myself first. I am Suho. Your fathers trusted allay and childhood friend. Well I got bitten by a beast once and It was your father who saved me. Since then I've been a cripple." The blonde man smiled ushering them to follow.

"There are humans and magical creatures here, be aware of what lies before you, okay?. You will stay at my house for the night. Tomorrow morning you Baekhyun, will tie the knot with Chanyeol. Ohh and that's Lay, my wife." Suho looked at a small adorable sheep like boy with dimples.

"Hi.. I am Byun Baekhyun. And this is my twin Baek Hee." He introduced.

"Umm so identically adorable. Common now I'll serve you food. You have only few hours to sleep." Lay giggled.

The dinner tasted different but delicious. The atmosphere felt like home and they loved the couple that helped them.

"Oppa I am afraid." Baek hee looked outside the glass window.

"Dont worry. I am there. Call me hyung like you always wanted too." Baekhyun giggled.

"Awwe I love you Baekhyun." Baekhee hugged her sleeping brother jumping down from her bed.

"Geez I love you more Baekhee." He hugged her back.

As he slowly fell asleep a certain prince invaded his thoughts. Fear and happiness braced him with a panicking sensation.
