Iruka is standing in the front of his class for the last time. As he is going through team placements, Iruka says, "Team 7: Naruto Uzumaki, Hinata Hyuga, and Choji Akimichi. Team 8: Kiba Inuzuka, Sakura Haruno, Shino Aburame. Team 10: Sasuke Uchiha, Ino Yamanaka, and Shikamaru Nara. Your Sensei's will be here after lunch. I will say it again. The road of life is a tough one. So keep training, and growing, so you can keep walking it, and complete your dreams!"

Iruka then walks out of the classroom, as yelling erupts from Sasuke's fangirls. Meanwhile, Naruto asks, "Hinata-chan, Choji, wanna get lunch with me?"

Choji, while munching on some chips, asks, "Sure... Where are we... Going?"

Hinata then says, "Ano... I would also like to know where we are eating, Naruto-kun."

Naruto gives a fox-like smile. He answers, "Why, only the best ramen stand in the village... No, the best ramen stand in all of the Elemental Nations. The one, the only... Ichiraku's Ramen!"

Choji hungrily replies, "Well, then what are we waiting for? Let's go."

Once there, the three of them get into an eating competition. The oddest, and most strangest thing that happened is that neither Naruto, nor Choji won. Hinata did, with a bowl count of forty-six. Naruto, and Choji tied, with a bowl count of thirty-two.

Once every new Genin was back, Jounin came, and went, until Team 7 was the last team in the classroom. A man enters. He has unkempt, dark-coloured hair, black eyes and a relatively broad nose and well-defined eyelashes, that were turned upwards at each end.

He wears the standard attire of the Uchiha clan which includes a high-collared, dark-coloured outfit along with a tantō strapped to the right side of the back of his shoulder. He also wears what appeared to be a harness for his tantō which ran across his chest and fastened over both his shoulders.

Naruto instantly knew who this man was, and is. Hinata noticed this, and asks, "Ano... Naruto-kun, what's wrong?"

Naruto answers, "Our Sensei is supposed to be a dead member of the Uchiha clan: Shisui Uchiha. He was said to be on par, or even better than Itachi. Shisui was renowned all over the world by the moniker: Shunshin no Shisui."

Shisui chuckles. He says, "You know quite a lot about me, but I can assure you that I am alive. You see, I was on a long-term mission during the massacre. When I came back, I was told about the massacre. I took more long-term missions, barely staying in Konoha for more than a day."

Naruto then says, "Jiji thought it was time for that to change, and now here you are, among the living."

Shisui nods in response. He orders, "Follow me to Training Ground 3."

So that is exactly what Team 7 did.

Training Ground 3 is a portion of land located inside of Konoha. There is a view of mountains in the landscape and a large and deep river with forests on both of its sides. There is a glade and in its center there are three stumps lined side by side. Below there is the Memorial Stone, a polished kunai-shaped structure.

After a few seconds of quietness, Shisui says, "Before we do anything else, let's introduce ourselves. I'll go first. My name is Shisui Uchiha, as you already know. I like joking around with friends, and sweets. I dislike having to kill, and murder. My hobby is training... And, my dream? I do not know at this moment, but I do know that I want to protect Konoha with my life. I also want Konoha to thrive. Hood your turn!"

Naruto says, "I'm Naruto Uzumaki. I like ramen, a certain Yamanaka despite how much she charges me for info, and my katana: Yamato. I dislike the three minutes it takes for ramen to cool after I put water into the ramen cup. My hobbies are training, hanging out with the friends that I do have, and tending to the garden on my roof. My dream... Is to be strong, and protect Konoha no matter what."

Shisui smiles, as he says, "That is a perfect dream to have no matter the person. The dream to protect one's village. Shyness, your turn."

Hinata lets out a quick 'eep', and then says, "Ano... My name is Hinata Hyuga. I like Hanabi-chan, Neji-niisan, sweets, and certain someone." She tries, and fails not to look at Naruto. The Hyuga continues, "I dislike the rift between the Hyuga clan. My hobbies are flower pressing, and making medical ointments. My dream is to make the Hyuga into one family, abolish the use of the Caged Bird Seal, and become a strong Clan Head."

Shisui then says, "That is an admirable dream. I have no doubt that you will be able to accomplish it. Anyway, Glutton, it is now your turn."

Choji, while munching on a bag of chips says, "My name... Is Choji Akimichi... I like my friend... Shikamaru Nara... I dislike being called fat... Or any variation of it... My hobby is trying new foods... My dream is... To try every food on the planet... And become a great Clan Head..."

Shisui says, "You all have great dreams, and different personalities. But, right now, I'm going to be giving you three a test."

Hinata asks, "Ano... What happens if we fail this test, Shisui-sensei?"

Shisui answers, "You turn in your hitai-ate, and return to the Academy. Now if their are no more interruptions, I'll explain the test... All you have to do is fight me. All though, I wouldn't work together if I were you, because I can only pass two of you. So with that being said... Hajime!"

As the three Genin disappear, Shisui thinks, "I can find Choji, and Hinata easily... But where is Naruto."

Speaking of Naruto, he casually made a couple hundred Shadow Clones, and ordered them to spread out, and around their Sensei. Naruto, and the clones quickly shoot a phantom blade bolt at Shisui. He then weaves a string of hand seals. Ox → Dog → Dragon → Rat → Dog → Boar → Snake → Tiger. He says, "Shuriken Kage Bunshin no Jutsu (Shuriken Shadow Clone Technique)!" Each bolt then multiplied by one hundred.

With at least ten thousand bolts raining down onto him, Shisui couldn't do much to dodge, or block. It was a good thing that he could jump high into the air. Which he did. While in the air, a single bolt then gets shot at the Uchiha, who blocks it with his tanto.

When Shisui lands, Naruto creates four shadow clones to attack his opponent, delivering a series of open palm strikes and kicks. All though Shisui destroyed them easily, with his tanto.

Another clone then rushes from the bushes. The Clone attempts to punch Shisui. The Uchiha dodges, but is shocked at the last moment, as Naruto flicks his wrist allowing a small dagger-like blade shot out from Naruto's wrist, thus cutting the man on the stomach. Shisui then punches the clone, dispelling it from the world.

Shisui then hears Choji, who yells, "Nikudan Sensha (Human Bullet Tank)!" A giant Choji ball then rushes from the bushes, pulverizing everything in it's path. When the Choji ball gets close to their Sensei, the Uchiha jumps into the air.

All though, that was a bad idea, as Choji used the tree behind Shisui to launch himself into the air, hitting the Uchiha. When the two connect though, Shisui disappears into a puff of smoke, revealing a small shattered log.

When Choji lands, he reverts back to his normal size, and barely dodges an attack from behind. Rolling out of the way of a kick to the head, Choji then sees Hinata rushing from the trees. When Hinata gets close to their Sensei, she attacks with a quick, precise thrust of the user's palm to the opponent's body, barely stunning the man.

The real Naruto then appears behind Shisui, with Yamato in hand. He flicks his wrist, slashing at the Uchiha, who barely had time to use the Kawarimi no Jutsu, substituting himself with a small log. All though, Shisui still gets a thin cut across his back.

Three Shisui's appear behind the Genin, with his tanto to their necks. Shisui then says, "Congratulations! You three have passed my test. I will now dub us four as Team Shisui!"

Choji then asks, "Sensei, I thought you said only two could pass?"

Shisui answers, "I did, but you see. I lied. I said it so that you wouldn't fight together, but you did anyway. Most likely because of Naruto, who probably told you that teamwork makes the dream work."

Naruto shrugged, as he replies, "Something like that."

Two Shisui's dispel, revealing the real Shisui to be behind Naruto. He says, "You three have the rest of the day off, but tomorrow morning we start training. Ja Ne!" The Uchiha then disappears in a Shunshin.
