I appeared by a trash can.
What have I done?! I bit her. I bit her hard! She doesn't need me. She probably doesn't want me after what I did.
The one person that was nice to me, and how do I repay that?
I kicked the container as hard as I could. It didn't even move.
"GAH!! I hate this can! I hate this day! I hate myself!"
I was shocked at my own words. D-do I really?
I slumped against the garbage can. Curling up into a ball, I tried to reason with myself.
It, it's her fault. She startled me.
But who was the one that bit Jana?
It was an accident.
But I know it wasn't.
I was lost in thought for what felt like a day.

The sun was farther down than I thought.
"Egdy?  EGDY? EEEEEEEEEGDYYYYYYYYYY?"
Is she actually looking for me?
"You here Egdy? Please come back! The family isn't whole without you."
She Is!
I was about ready to shout for Jana. Then a hand grabbed me.
"I recognize you, you little bugger. I don't know how you and your friends escaped, but your not getting away now."
Quickly, I cried for my human as the leader of the Bitty black market took me to his black van. I tried bitting him, but his skin was unnaturally tough. He quickly(and lazily) got a collar on me.
He opened the back door, and threw me in a cage. Looking out, I could see Jana sprining for the van. The leader closed the door, and got in, starting the engine. I was too far below to look out the rear window, but I could see the leader's face in the mirror. What I could see outside began to blur.
Losing hope, I looked around the van. There were a few inhabited cages, holding one Bitty each. I saw two that looked like Papyrus and Sans got ready to act in a horror film. Another was completely black, with a few weird tentacles attached to his back. I spotted a pair that looked just like Sans and Pap, only the clothing was yellow and blue with a starry design. A fourth held a skeleton Bitty wearing only white with black outlines.
The finale two I saw shocked me. It was Sans and Blue, and they had unlocked the door. The collar was lose enough that I could pull it over my skull. I teleported down to them.
"Sans! Blue! What are you doing here?"
"Egdy!" Blue rushed and hugged me, and I returned it,"We were worried about you. And it looks like we can ask you the same-"
Sans cut in,"except we saw it."
"We need to get out of here, along with the others."
"I agree with you Egdy. We can't let other Bitties go through what we did at the warehouse."
I was about to turn to Sans, only to find he already teleported to an inhabited cage. His held the yellow-dressed pair.
Blue climbed up to the black Bitty and the white Bitty.
That left me with the horror pair. Teleporting up there, I began to work on the lock. It was one of those keyhole locks, so I summoned a sharp bone and jammed it in there. As I kept shoving it around, in the corner of my sight I saw the two Bitties walk up to the lock. I pulled the bone back as far as it would go, and the lock snapped open. I pulled the bone out, and slowly approached them.
"Hey, it's alright. We're gonna get you two outta here. But before I can do that, I need to get those off." I pointed the bone to their collars.
They seemed to understand, and they let me cut them off.
"Thanks stranger." The taller one said. He looked a little like Boss, except his scarf was bloody and his teeth were crooked. The shorter one- looking a lot like Sans, had a big hole above his left eye, that of which was colored red. Scary-Boss spoke," We might have to hitch a ride back to the alley."
"You guys live in an alley?"
Red-eye cut in," We DID live in an alley, before some human snagged us as sold us off."
"Well, how about you join me and my friends at our place?"
"Really? Thanks."
"Ya, thank you."
I heard Blue climb up, along with the rest.

Blue: Egdy, meet Nightmare and Cross. They ran away from their old place so I invited them to ours!
Egdy: (What is Jana going to do with all of us?)
Egdy: Great, I asked these two as well.
Blue: And what are there names?
Red-eye: Well I'm-

Something landed on top of the van, and it made a big dent in the roof. We could clearly hear it move forward to the front. Sans and his pair had made it up to where we were, just in time for the van to jerk. It threw all the new one into the Horror cage. Sans, Blue, and me were somehow thrown on top of it. From where I was, I could see the driver, . fighting?, someone through the window.
It stopped, and a teal, scaly face dropped in front of the window. It had long grey horns on the back, and a short snout full of sharp teeth. There was a small amount of fur around the horns. But I could make out some very unique patterns, specifically; blond with red.
He slammed on his brakes, and the creature jumped out of the way just before the van went into a tree. The crash caused the small stack to collapse and an airbag to go off. The cage below us landed just so for the door to be bent against the floor.
Somehow the three of us were still on the same cage.
The man was currently stuck in his airbag that activated.
The van's back door opened, and I saw my favorite human. She spotted us on the floor, and dug us all out. Carrying the cage, she went around and placed it on the totaled hood of the car. After making sure that it was steady, Jana wrangled the bent door open.

Egdy: Jana! I was so worried you wouldn't catch up.
Blue:Ya, and how did you get on top of the car.
Sans: and what was that lizard thing that spooked the driver?
Jana: Hehe, well, I have my ways. And the lizard I'm not sure about. I see you got some new friends. And I'd love to meet you guys, but I got some business to take care of.

She walked off to the drivers side.
"What do you think your doing lady?"
"Getting my Bitties back after a teen took them."
"No, I don't think so."
I heard a gunshot, then a clang as the bullet hit something.
"You really think it'll be that easy? Tsk tsk, guess now I'll have to use this."
"Uh. How and why do you have a battle axe?"
"Hm, I don't know (couldn't find a sarcastic emoji). But there's nothing in the law that prohibits them. Plus everyone should have at least one. I do know, however, that there is a law for shooting a gun in a public space."
I peeked over, and saw Jana holding a battle axe that was over half her height. I would believe that she could carry it if the handle was collapsible, till I looked at the actual dangerous part. It was a single blade that was slightly smaller than Jana's back, so something needed to bend for the blade to fit somewhere.
"I don't know who you are, but you owe me a for new truck."
"But I wasn't the one that did it. If there's anyone you should blame it's the monster that attacked this rust bucket on wheels."
"Urg. Enough of this." Sans and Blue joined me.
The driver held up his gun again, and aimed the head. He fired three times, but they never made contact. Somehow, they stopped right in between them- still spinning.
"Your right, and I suggest if you want to leave without visiting the hospital; you leave Avoiddis Town for good."
"Alright." The driver threw up his hands in defeat. "I'm going, I just need to get the car out of the tree."
Right after he said that, the van began to move; the hood straighten and the windshield repaired itself a little. Before backing up.
"There. I'll take what's mine quick, then you can get on your way." Jana magically put away the axe, before walking over to the hood and picked us up along with the ones sitting in the cage.
Getting in and starting the engine, he turned the van around and left. And the three bullets dropped to the ground.
"How'd you do that?"
"Stop the bullets or pull out an axe?"
Sans: "Both. If you don't mind."
Blue: "Those, and what caused the car to fix itself?"
Jana: "I'll answer all those when we get back. But we gotta hurry if we want to make the show tonight."
Blue: We're going to a show?
Jana: Yep, your group, along the nine we found here. Right now I have 18 Bitties, but that's besides the point.
She began to lightly jog back to the building. When we got there the sun was setting and the sky was turning orange.

Papyrus: Everyone, there Back!
Dream: Alright! Did you have any troubles there J-
Boss: EGDY! (Hugs brother) Uh, nyeh, it's good to see you brother.
Egdy: It's good to see you too.
Jana: Hehe, nope. And I don't judge good and happy actions Boss, if that's what your wondering.
Boss: Nyeh, very well.
Blue: Where's, there he is! (Runs to Carrot)
Carrot: Slow dow- *oof* It's good to see you got back alright.
Blue: Yep! And who's your new friend?
Papyrus: There you are Sans.
Sans: Yep, (appears next to Pap, hugs) it's good to be back.
Jana: (to the newest, while everyone else is chatting) It's ok, there not gonna hurt ya, and let me get you something to eat. Hrm, all the hotdogs are gone, and we're almost out of mayo. Who puts that much on one hotdog? I do have some snacks. What do you guys like?
Red-eye: We'll take anything.
Yellow starry Pap: So will we.
Nightmare: Whatever you got, just no sprinkles or anything purely for color.
Cross: I'm fine with anything.
Jana: K, I have some crackers, fruit snacks, actual fruit, and why did I pack a potato? Oh! I think I found something that you'll all enjoy.
(Holds up bag of chocolate and graham crackers.) I'll start you guys off with the crackers and chocolate while I pack up everything else.

After Jana packed up everything into the box on wheels and throwing a large blanket over her shoulder, she called for all of us to get in.

Jana: I have something planned for tonight, and we want to see it, we'll need to hurry. I have a good spot where we can see the show.
Wild: What kind of show is it?
Jana: You'll Just have to wait and see. Also, *do todo do do* it'll be faster to get there if you guys stay in this. Hold on, cause it might get bumpy."
I held onto the side, and smiled as the cart bounced back and forth and Jana ran. Just as it was getting dark, we stopped in front of the lake.
She laid down the blanket, and carried us all over to the blanket in two trips. Getting settled on the blanket, Jana sat down and looked at her watch.
"It should start here in a minute."
Starry Sans: What starts? There isn't a stage.
Jana: He, you'll see. And everyone, don't run off. It was hard enough to find you guys in the daylight. If you get scared, run for me, alright.
18 heads nodded back. And in Three. Two.
A small fiery thing launched from the center of the lake. It kept going up until it exploded into red and blue pieces. Another launched, this one being a pretty gold sparkle.
"What are those?"
"Those, are fireworks, and today is Independence Day or the Fourth of July. Every year they light off the fireworks to celebrate America becoming independent of Britain."
"How are they made?"
"I don't truly know, but they stuff charges and gunpowder into a canister that has a single opening at the bottom, which propels the rocket upward."
We sat and watch the show. Brilliant blues, reds, whites, greens and golds lit up the sky. The finale part was a parade of fireworks that was bright enough to make a solid shadow. I don't know how long the whole thing was, but I enjoyed every second of it. Turning to Jana, I could count around five Bitties snuggled next to her, but I couldn't identify them.
After the show was over, she carried us two at a time to the cart. I was one of the last ones. The other Bitty, Error, was asleep.
"Jana?"
"Ya?"
"Thanks for coming back."
"Your very welcome."
"But I have just one question, How did you catch up to the car so fast?"
". . . I won't explain directly, but I'm not 100% human."
"Do you know why? That your not a full human?"
"I'll tell you since you asked about it, but I'll only tell those that ask for it. Ok. From the very beginning I wasn't born human. My mother was a scientist that excelled in gene splicing, and my father was a crime lord that had an odd disorder. My mother tried to help him, but she only strengthen and gave it new abilities. They both didn't notice until I turned 6, when I stopped a dodgeball that, in no way, should've been caught. The other incident was when I started a mini tornado in the classroom, which sent papers flying.
"Huh. Neat. Sounds like you've been an active kid."
"Yes I Was. But right now, I need to get you guys home."
She set me down, and once we started going I was out like a light.
