Right after Egdy bit Jana and everything went to heck, I ran off to find my brother. Spear materializing, I looked in almost every nook and cranny.
I'm not sure how long I searched, but I know it was long enough to look through 12 picnic baskets, 4 birdhouses, and 5 small buildings. Along the way, I was attacked by 6 birds, a small furry tree-dweller with a long tail, a ball, and two humongous, black-and-white spotted canines.
All of which I avoid however, being the Greatest Skeleton to live. I continued my search along a giant puddle. It was deep enough for the humans to go in and go under.
I spotted another area where Egdy could be hiding, until I heard a human behind me.
In his hair I saw garbage, and in his left hand a sac. He bent down, and began to try to grab me.
"Human. I suggest that you back away. I am on a very important mission to find my brother and get him back to our owner. If you intend to delay my quest any longer, I wi- Nye, HEY!"
The human had grabbed me, pinning my arms to my sides. Luckily, I still had my spear.
"Your brother, eh? Tell you what,I'll help you find him.
"R-really?"
I truly doubted that he would let us go afterward, but I can't leave my brother alone.
"Yes, But I'm just curious. How many Bitties does your owner have?"
"Why do you want to know that?"
"Uh, mainly because, oh! Mainly because I saw another small Bitty around here, and I was wondering if he was your brother."
"Hmm. Well then human, what did this Bitty look like?" As I asked this the human set me down.
"Short, a Skeleton, and he wore a blue scarf. When I found him he looked pretty beaten up.-
Blue, wonder what happened to him.
I saw someone come by and get him though."
I asked back, trying to find a weak-link in his chain of half truths,"If that is so, then why do you have garbage in your hair, along with everywhere else on you?"
"That, uh, some gal beat me up and threw me in there."
"What did this person look like?"
"Blonde, with hints of redhead. Pale eyes, and the strength of a gorilla."
I know Jana matches two of those, and I doubt that the odd hair coloration is common here.
What did this guy do to make my human beat him up?
Going along with it, "Thank you. I will keep an eye out for this person. Now I must get back to my search, you have given me enough information to find him."
"No." The near-teen said." I don't think you understand, that your not the one in control."
He attempted to grab me, but I dodged and jabbed him with my spear.
"Eee-ouch! You'll regret that! Come here!"
During his threat I ran for the tallest thing I could see. Luckily, that was a tree with a hole at the base.
Having a few seconds left and scarf flying behind me, I sprinted and dove for the hole. I was able to get in- a second too late.
"Ah-ha!"
He was able to grab the end of my scarf, and pull me out. I tried to stay in my hole by thrusting my spear into the dirt, but it was too loose.
The kid brought me up to his eye level, holding me like a prize. The scarf began to get slowly tighter.
Crap. Is it really already over?
Peeking over my captors shoulder, I spotted that Blonde-redhead.
"No. I think YOU don't know who's in charge."
"What do you mean by tha-"
He slowly looked behind him as a hand tapped his shoulder.
"Squirt?"
Jana gave him a smile that only the evil villains can pull off.
"Please have mercy."
"Sorry squirt, I'm fresh out."
She began to crack her knuckles. The tween turned so much that I couldn't see Jana's head for a minute.
"Take him! Take him and the others and let me walk away!"
He 'gently' tossed me to Jana, before running away as fast as he could.
I sat there in my humans hand, shocked.
"What did you do?"
"Eh, just roll him down a hill in a trash can."
"I believe it, considering that you did it."
"Ha! Yep. So far Dream, Pap, and Sans been the only one that I had to get out of a mess. Let's get you back though. I'm sure your hungry for lunch."
"But Egdy-"
"I will continue to search for him, don't you worry. But I know you guys need some lunch."
We walked back to the building, with me balancing on Jana's head, aiming my spear at different things- but not actually throwing it.
"Nyeh yeh yeh."
I came down, and was greated by everyone except for Sans, Blue, and of course my brother.
"Where are Blue and Sans?"
"Well. Someone came and kidnapped them. I'm assuming now since the rest of you are here, I can spend more time looking for the three of them. And I have a pretty good hunch."
