A code of Error

I landed up in a tree. Hitting two or three branches, my shirt got caught on one. My momentum, however, tore a hole in the back.
I began falling again.
Crap!
Quickly, I used my string to lasso a sturdier branch. The lasso didn't hold, and I continued the fall. I tried again, and got the same results.
Why can't I do anything right?
Third time the charm, I finally got a hold on a branch. I was about to swing in to land on a lower branch- till I glitched. I missed the branch, and I lost the large amount of slack on my lasso. I began falling, again.
Luckily, I still had a grip on the string connected to the third branch. The current problem though was that the slack was still too much. Struggling to collect it, I ended up spinning. My lasso had somehow wrapped around my leg and torso halfway down. Still spinning and getting more tangled, I finally grabbed what was left of the slack before the string went taunt.
I blacked out.

"Error! Come on! The board's not gonna stay much longer!"
After Boss undid the latch, Papyrus and Carrot lead us across the crates, cages and shelves, and Dream, Egdy, Sans, and Blue brought down the board across the gap; escape was within sight. Error was the third to last to cross before the board fell, leaving Ink on the other side. Right as Error got to the other side the board began to fall, taking Egdy and Sans with it.
In a flash, Error managed to use his strings to grab both of them. The black Bitty held onto the ends while the two fallen ones climbed up.
Carrot and Dream were waiting for them, all while Papyrus and Boss plotted a route to the window sill. Ink had already began to make his way up the crates- looking for another way across.
The two short Bitties had just got their feet one solid wood. The now group of three ran for the others. So far, they were undetected from the cruel owners. Till they spotted Ink on the top of the crates above their eye level.

(Error POV: still in Flashback)
We gotta go! We gotta go! The humans had spotted Ink. I motioned for Egdy and Sans to continue running. Unfortunately, one human had already seen Pap's group. Jeff had already neared a frozen Ink, and two humans were busy getting the others into a cage. We were the last ones left unnoticed.

(Sans POV)
Error had just lead us to a crack in the crates. Luckily the inside of ours was food! Me and Egdy began to shove as much bread as we could into our rib cages for the others. Error started to join in till on his third handful he froze, glitching.
We kept getting as much bread that we could into the three rib cages until Jeff called for us.
Slowly, we came out, all while trying to get a glitched Error through the crack. I had managed to grab enough for 9 rations, and so did Egdy and Error. So at least we won't go hungry today.

(Back to Error POV)
I woke up in someone's hand. The said someone was unraveling me from my strings, and soon got me out. "Looks like you took a tumble Error."
"Hmm, Yep. Sure did Jana."
"I told you this morning that your yellow shirt would come in handy. Also, at least you were able to stop yourself, and where did you get these strings? They're freakin' strong!"
"I. I made them."
"Cool! You'll have to show me after I find the others. I've only found Sans, Blue and Papyrus, along with another Bitty named Geno.
Come on though. I need to find everyone else, and quickly."
"Alright Jana."
I climbed up to my perch on her shoulder, and she took me back to the building with the bench.
