Chirping of birds
Morning mischief
Whistling of woods
As if darkness speaks

Walking bare foot
I feel connected with this forest
My head inside water
Wow, this is some rest

I hear more than
What is said
Love to see and be with
What God has made

Outside I feel lonely
Conversations are short and terse
Inside me
There is a whole universe

I close my eyes
Searching for that broken piece
I hope I will find
My inner peace
