I am a mere traveller in this journey
only difference is that I am not sure where I am going
and oh boy, that's a very big difference

I am not sure if I need to get down on the next stop
or whether I will be forced out
I worry what lies there, if I get down on my own

There are people in this compartment
they, I am told, paid for my ticket
I spent most of my journey with them, time to move on

I am a mere traveller in this journey
so how can I enjoy the present
it's difficult, when you are not sure  of what lies ahead

I am unattached, free and I will search my destination
