I board the bullhead which could take me to Beacon. I got enrolled with ease, given dad's and uncle Tai's training. Heh, Yang is still to beat me in hand to hand

Jack: "Wonder if Yang will be here too or did she get into other bullheads..." I relax and sit on one bench, tossing my bags under it and getting my scroll out. I notice one message from dad

Qrow: 'Hey kiddo. Sorry I couldn't send you off. That mission from Oz is taking longer than I thought. Be sure to keep our firecracker in check. Catch you later, Ice Cube'

Jack: "Always on the run, right dad?" I put my scroll back in my pocket and looked around, spotting a black and red haired cat Faunus "Ryuko...? What is she...?" My trail of thought got interrupted when I hear someone shouting my name

???: "Jack!" I turn around to see Yang and... Ruby

'What is pipsqueak doing in Beacon? Isn't she 15?' I made my way to them

Yang: "Jack!" she hugged me "Oh man, it's good to see you!"

Jack: "Yang... *grunt* we saw each other a week ago" she put me down and I look at Ruby "Okay, come here. I know you want to" Ruby hugged me

Ruby: "Hey Jack"

Jack: "Hey Ruby. It's good to see you too. What're you doing here?"

Ruby: "Well... you're looking at the youngest Huntress in training at Beacon!" she proudly pointer her thumb at herself before Yang gets her in a hug

Yang: "I still can't believe our baby sister is going to Beacon with us! Jack, isn't it the best?!"

Ruby: "Please stop..." Yang let Ruby off the hug

Yang: "But I'm so proud of you!"

Jack: "What did she do to get into Beacon early?"

Yang: "Oh! Ruby stopped a Dust robbery week ago all by herself!" I widen my eyes

Jack: "Ruby, is that true?" Ruby nods "Man, I'm proud of you, little rose" I ruffle her hair, much to her displeasure

Ruby: "Please... It was nothing..."

Yang: "Don't shoot yourself short Ruby! It was incredible! Everyone at Beacon is going to think you're the bee's knees!" I chuckle

Jack: "With how short Ruby is, that's more than certain"

Ruby: "Hey! I'm still growing! And I don't want to be the 'bee's knees', okay? I don't wanna be any kind of knees! I just wanna be a normal girl with normal knees"

Yang: "What's with you? Aren't you excited?"

Ruby: "Of course I'm excited... I just... I got moved ahead two years. I don't want people to think I'm special or anything" Yang hugged Ruby from the side while I get to her other side and put my hand on her shoulder

Yang: "But you are special"

Jack: "At least to us!" Our attention then turned to a news hologram, with Torchwick's mugshot

News Reporter: "The robbery was led by nefarious criminal Roman Torchwick, who continues to evade authorities. If you have any information on his whereabouts, please contact the Vale Police Department. Back to you, Lisa" The mugshot changes to another news reporter

Lisa: "Thank you, Cyril. In other news, this Saturday's Faunus Civil Rights protest turned dark when members of the White Fang disrupted the ceremony. The once peaceful organization has now disrupted..." Hologram of Glynda Goodwitch replaces the news feed

Glynda: "Hello, and welcome to Beacon!"

Yang: "Who's that?"

Glynda: "My name is Glynda Goodwitch"

Yang: "Oh"

Glynda: "You are among a privileged few who have received the honor of being selected to attend this prestigious academy! Our world is experiencing an incredible time of peace, and as future Huntsmen and Huntresses, it is your duty to uphold it. You have demonstrated the courage needed for such a task, and now it is our turn to provide you with the knowledge and the training to protect our world" she disappears

Ruby: "Oh, wow!" Ruby gets to the window and looks outside "Look, you can see Signal from up here! I guess home isn't too far after all!"

Yang: "Beacon's our home now" We look to our right to see a blond guy hunched over, grounding like he would get his breakfast back. He runs past us and to the back of the ship "Well... I guess the view isn't for everyone" she rolls her eyes

Jack: "Guess Vomit Boy had a small problem with his stomach" Girls giggle

Ruby: "Yeah... It was a nice moment while it lasted" I look to my left to see that girl from before staring at me

'If it's really Ryuko then she... no way she got from Menagerie all the way here. Haven is much closer than Beacon'

Yang: "Oh Jack, I see you're checking out the ladies" she smirks "Your girlfriend would be mad if I told her~"

Jack: "Yang, how many times I had to tell you. Ryuko and I are not dating. And we haven't seen each other since our first year at Signal"

Yang: "Whatever you say, cousin~. I saw what I need, the look she was giving you"

Jack: "Yang, drop it"

Yang: "Jack and Ryuko sitting on a tree!" she sings

Ruby: "K.I.S.S.I.N.G!" I look at Ruby

Jack: "Not you too... *sigh* I really regret introducing her to you two"

Yang: "You shouldn't! She is nice, a good pair for you if I was to say" Ruby nods

Jack: "Count on your family..."

Ruby: "Anytime Jack" she looks out of the window again "I wonder who we're gonna meet! I just hope they're better than Vomit Boy. Oh, Yang, gross! You have puke on your shoe!"

Yang: "Gross, gross, gross, gross, gross, gross, gross, gross!"

Ruby: "Get-Get away! Get away from me! Get away from me! Get away from me! Get away from me!"

Jack: "Don't you even think about it, Yang!" I run away from them, bumping into someone "Oh, sorry, I didn't mean to" I look up at the person to see this Faunus girl from before as she looks at me wide-eyed

???: "Jack?"

Jack: "Em... yeah? And you are?" This seems to anger her

???: "You fucking bird brain! You don't recognize me?!"

Jack: "I had a suspicion... So, Ryuko, long time no see" Ryuko's expression softens

Ryuko: "Finally! I thought that would take you longer, birdie"

Jack: "Yeah, yeah, says the stray cat" I get up "What are you even doing here? I thought that you moved with your parents to Menagerie five years ago"

Ryuko: "Yeah, I did. But I have some unfinished business here in Vale"

Jack: "Like? Let me guess, the White Fang stuff" Ryuko puts her hand on my mouth

Ryuko: "Can you be quiet for fuck sake?! Yes, the White Fang. I heard they are here in Vale. And Menagerie's chef's daughter is also here. He asked me to look after her"

Jack: "So you're not here to become a Huntsmen?"

Ryuko: "No. I came here to become a Huntress too. Like anybody on this ship, well, maybe except for you. Branwen tribe, sounds familiar?" she crossed her arms

Jack: "Yeah... aunt Raven and her tribe. But trust me when I say this, my father and I have no connection to her"

Ryuko: "I hope so. I would kill you if you were. Now" she hugged me "It's good to finally meet again, Jack. We have a lot to talk about, but first..." she looked outside the window, seeing our bullhead arrive at Beacon "Guess we're here. Care to go around with me?"

Jack: "Um, Kitty, I should search for Yang and Ruby. Maybe later we can hang out and catch up?" Ryuko's tail gets low, signaling her feeling sad

Ryuko: "Yeah... see you later Jack..." she walked past me with a sad frown and I sigh

Jack: "Oh man, maybe Yang is right. I should just tell her, it would be easier... for both of us"

I exit the bullhead just in time to see Ruby freaking out about other weapons, as she turned into a chibi

Ruby: "And she's got a fire sword!" she flies away as yang grabbed the hood of her came "Ow, ow"

Jack: "Easy there Ruby. They're just weapons" Yang and Ruby turned to me as the latter pointed at me

Ruby: "You're not my family! Just weapons? *scoff* They're an extension of ourselves! They're part of us! They're so cool!"

Yang: "Jack has a point, Ruby. Why can't you swoon over your own weapon? Aren't you happy with it?" Ruby in response got Crescent Rose in its scythe mode and hugged it

Ruby: "Of course I'm happy with Crescent Rose! I just really like seeing new ones. It's like meeting new people. But better" I chuckle

Jack: "Still having trouble making friends, Ruby?"

Yang: "Come on, sis. why don't you go try and make some friends of your own" she puts Ruby's hood over her head

Ruby: "But why would I need friends when I have you and Jack?" some people appear behind Yang

Yang: "Well... Actually, my friends are here. Gotta catch up. 'Kay, c'ya, bye" she zoomed past Ruby

Ruby: "Wait! Where are you going?! Are we supposed to go to our dorms? Where are our dorms? Do we have dorms?" I stopped her spinning "Good you're still here Jack" I look to the right, seeing Ryuko walking towards the school

Jack: "Yeah... I have some of my friends too. See you later Ruby!" I walk away towards my cat friend

Ruby: "Not you too!" I make a beeline to where Ryuko is standing

Jack: "Hey Ryuko, you have some time?" Ryuko turned around

Ryuko: "Huh? Jack, I thought you're looking for your sisters"

Jack: "And I found them. Yang ditched me and Ruby and well... I ditched her too. And they're my cousins not sisters"

Ryuko: "Cousins, sisters, big difference" she shrugs

Jack: "It is. So, you wanted to go around with me if I recall" I smirk "You want to now?" Ryuko's tail get up, signaling excitement

'Heh, it's really easy to know how she feels based just on her tail'

Ryuko: "Yes! I mean *cough* Sure, why not" she smiles and we started walking around Beacon "You said Ruby is here too. Isn't she kinda too young?"

Jack: "Apparently she stopped a robbery a week ago. Ozpin saw it and offered her a place at Beacon. Well, we have so many things to talk about. I don't even know where to start"

Ryuko: "But I do. You're still taking missions with your dad?"

Jack: "Nope, stopped two years ago when Oz sent him somewhere. Are you and Satsuki still at war?"

Ryuko: "Ugh! Yeah, we are. She always tries to be so perfect and elegant and so on. Our mom always says I should be like her because 'young lady shouldn't swear'. I said 'Fuck her' and asked our dad to sign my papers to Beacon. She is at Haven and I'm free to do whatever I want here in Vale without anyone on my head" Then we hear an explosion "What the... something exploded?"

Jack: "You want to check it out?" Ryuko nodded and we made our way to the source of the explosion, only to see Ruby arguing with some white-haired girl

White hair "This isn't your ordinary combat school. It's not just sparring and practice you know. We're here to fight monsters! So watch where you're going!"

Ryuko: "Seems like a Schnee got something against your cousin" she looks further to see a black-haired girl with a bow on top of her head "And it looks like Blake is here too"

Jack: "So it seems"

Ruby: "Hey, I said I was sorry, Princess!"

Blake: "It's heiress, actually. Weiss Schnee, heiress to the Schnee Dust Company, one of the largest producers of energy propellant in the world"

Weiss: "Finally, some recognition!"

Ryuko: "Don't get too full of yourself, Ice Princess" Girls turned to us "SDC is also known for its controversial labor forces and questionable business partners"

Blake: "I wouldn't say it better"

Weiss: "What- How dare-! The nerve of-" Ruby giggled in the background. Weiss meanwhile grabbed a Dust vial from Blake's hand and stormed off, making me and Ryuko laugh

Ruby: "I promise I'll make this up to you!"

Ryuko: "Hahaha! Guess... guess someone can take facts" she turned to Blake "Hey Blake, long time no see"

Blake: "Ryuko, why are you here?"

Ryuko: "That's a long story. I will tell you later" Blake nodded and get on her way, Ruby didn't notice this

Ruby: "*sigh* I guess I'm not the only one having a rough first day. So what's-?" she looked to where Blake went and later collapsed on the floor "Welcome to Beacon..." I sit on the bench with Ryuko, observing Ruby

Jack: "No one said making friends is easy, Ruby!"

Ruby: "Easy for you to say..." I shake my head while the guy who vomited on bullhead offered Ruby his hand

Vomit Boy: "Hey... I'm Jaune" Ruby accepted the gesture

Ruby: "Ruby" I and Ryuko make their way to them "And this is my cousin, Jack and... um..."

Ryuko: "Ruby, I understand Jack not recognizing me, he is dumb"

Jack: "Hey!"

Ryuko: "But you. Come on, Rosie"

Ruby: "Only one person called me that before... Ryuko!"

Ryuko: "Bingo!" girls hugged "I know, long time no see"

Ruby: "Where were you?! We all missed you, Jack especially!" I blushed

Jack: "Ruby, don't say that!" Ryuko giggled

Ryuko: "Oh, I know. He missed me SO much" she smirks " I heard from Jack you stopped Torchwick last week, good job kiddo" Ryuko ruffled Ruby's hair "How about us four walk around, get to know each other better and catch up?"

Jack: "We have nothing else to do" I shrug "Sure thing Kitty"

Jaune: "Kitty?"

Ryuko: "*sigh* I'm a cat Faunus. Look" she holds her tail "And Jack calls me that since I could remember" I nod

Jack: "Yeah. What you say, Jaune?"

Jaune: "Sure"

Jack: "Ruby?"

Ruby: "Why do you even ask me?! Of course I will! I have so much to talk about with Ryuko" Us four go on our way

*timeskip*

Ryuko: "Haha! Vomit Boy?! Hahaha!"

Jaune: "All I'm saying is that motion sickness is a much more common problem than people let on!"

Ruby: "Look, I'm sorry. Jack called you that and I later picked it out. It's the first thing that came to mind"

Jaune: "Oh yeah, what if I called you Crater Face?" I and Ryuko laugh

Ruby: "Hey! That explosion was an accident" she looks at me and Ryuko still laughing "Count on your family to help you out..."

Ryuko: "I'm not your family Ruby"

Ruby: "Yet..." she said under her nose. I whispered to her

Jack: "Ruby, don't you dare. I got this, trust your cousin" I smirk, and Ruby nodded

Jaune: "Well the name's Jaune Arc! Short, sweet, rolls off the tongue, ladies love it!" Ruby and Ryuko look at him unamused

Ryuko and Ruby: "Do they?"

Jaune: "They will. Well, I hope they will... I mean, my mom always says... Nevermind" Ruby giggled nervously and Ryuko shakes her head

Ryuko: "If you want to get girls, you need a better pick-up line, Jaune. This... this won't work" then an awkward silence accrues until Ruby went to grab her scythe

Ruby: "So... I got this thing" she transforms Crescent Rose and stabs it into the pavement

Jaune: "Whoa! Is that a scythe!"

Ryuko: "Looks like someone got inspired by her uncle and cousin"

Ruby: "It's also a customizable, high impact velocity sniper rifle"

Jaune: "A wha-?"

Ryuko: "It's also a gun"

Jaune: "Oh. That's cool. Ryuko, what do you have?"

Ryuko: "Well..." she pulled off her blades

Jaune: "Wow, a giant scissors?!"

Ryuko: "Also a gunlance, which is also a gun"

Ruby: "Do they set on fire?! Ryuko, they have to do something, right?!" Ryuko giggled

Ryuko: "Of course they do. They act as a barrel for my Semblance, Lightning Strike. I basically can generate lighting" She smiled

Ruby: "That's so cool!"

Jaune: "Oh... yeah. Jack, what about you?" I smirk and Ruby started jumping

Ruby: "Show him your scythe, Jack!"

Jack: "Okay, Ruby, calm down" I get Judgement Day from my back and turned it into a scythe before holding it in my right hand

Jaune: "A second scythe?!"

Jack: "Yeah... It's kinda in our family. Both Ruby and I got our scythes 'cause of my dad. He trained us to use them"

Ruby: "That's right!"

Jack: "Oh, well... It's a scythe and an automatic rifle with dust crystals as ammo. Nothing special"

Ruby: "Nothing special?! Jack! You beat Uncle Qrow with it!"

Jack: "One time... and he was not in a right state of mind"

Ruby: "Oh, right. So, Jaune, what've you got?"

Jaune: "Oh... uh, I got this sword" he unsheathes it

Ruby: "Oooooh!"

Jack: "Nice piece of work, but kinda old"

Jaune: "Yeah, I've got a shield too!" he extends his shield

Ruby: "So what do they do?" Ruby taps the shield, making it jump from Jaune's arms and he tries to catch it, succeeding

Jaune: "Well... the shield gets smaller... So... when I get tired of carrying it... I can just put it away"

Ruby: "But... wouldn't it weigh the same?"

Jaune: "Yeah, it does" he slumps

Ruby: "Well, I'm kind of a dork when it comes to weapons. I guess I did go a little overboard designing it"

Jaune: "Wait. You made that?"

Jack: "Every kid at Signal forge their own weapons. And you can say I helped Ruby with Crescent Rose, given I already got my scythe built at the time"

Ruby: "Thanks again Jack. Yeah, we built them all on our own"

Ryuko: "Even at Sanctum they build their weapons by themselves. Those babies are all my hard work. Don't even ask how much time I've spent to get them to work with my Semblance"

Ruby: "Wait, Jaune, you didn't make yours?"

Jaune: "It's a hand-me-down. My great-great-grandfather used it to fight in the war"

Ruby: "Sounds more like a family heirloom to me! Well, I like it! Not many people have an appreciation for the classics these days"

Jack: "Even if those classics are supposed to stay in the museum..." Ryuko elbowed my side "Ow!"

Jaune: "Yeah... The classics..."

Ruby: "That reminds me" she gets next to me "Why did you ditch me?!"

Jack: "Well, after Yang got puke on her shoe, I found Ryuko. She wanted to walk around with me and well... Look, It's not my fault Yang ditched you too. I had to talk with Ryuko, alone"

Ruby: "What are you taohhhhh" she smirks "Okay, I see. I'm gonna tell Yang!"

Jack: "Don't you dare!"

Ryuko: "Why are you stopping her Jack. I have to see Yang too after all"

Jack: "Well, the reason is... Yang thinks we're dating..." I whisper and Ryuko blushes

Ryuko: "D-D-dating?! Ruby, what gives Yang t-that idea. I and Jack are f-friends"

Ruby: "Yang said something like' the way she looked at Jack' or something. I don't know"

Ryuko: "That little blonde. *growl* I will give her a piece of my mind..." Ruby gets near Jaune while I and Ryuko walk behind them

Ruby: "So why'd you help me out back thee, in the courtyard?"

Jaune: "Ehh, why not? My mom always says 'Strangers are just friends you haven't met yet"

Ruby: "Hmmm... Hey, where are we going?"

Jaune: "Oh, I dunno, I was following you. Ryuko, Jack?"

Ryuko: "Don't look at us, we were following you two"

Jaune: "But there must be some kind of directory. Maybe some food court? Some sort of recognizable landmark?" Ruby snickers and Ryuko laughs "Is uh... is that a 'no'?"

Ruby: "That's a 'no'"

Jack: "*Sigh* Follow me. I know where to go"

Ruby: "How?!"

Jack: "I was at Beacon before. Dad had some business with Ozpin and I tagged along with him"

Ruby: "Oh right"

*timeskip*

We enter the auditorium, full of other students. Then we hear Yang calling us and waving

Yang: "Ruby! Jack! Over here! I saved you two a spot!"

Ruby: "Oh! Hey, w-we gotta go!"

Jack: "We will see you later Jaune. Catch you later Kitty" I wink at her, making her blush. I laugh as I and Ruby get near Yang

Yang: "What's up Jack? Who is that girl you flirted with?"

Jack: "O-Oh. Right. Well, it was Ryuko" Yang's eyes widen before forming a smirk

Yang: "Oh my Oum! I knew it! I knew you two are a thing!"

Jack: "YANG! Can you stop?!'

Yang: "Now there is no way I will! And I will make sure you two will end up together"

Jack: "I DON'T need you to set us up, okay? I got this" Yang scoffs and crosses her arms

Yang: "Right. Like you got it five years ago..." I sigh "So, Ruby! How's your first day going, little sister?"

Ruby: "You mean since you and Jack ditched me and I exploded?!"

Yang: "Yikes. Meltdown already?"

Ruby: "No, I literally exploded a hole in front of the school, ask Jack" I nod

Jack: "Yup, a big crater right in front of the landing pad"

Ruby: "And there was a fire, and I think some ice"

Yang: "...Are you being sarcastic?" Ruby scoffs

Ruby: "I wish! I tripped over some crabby girl's luggage! And then she yelled at me! And then I sneezed. And then I exploded! And then she yelled again! And I felt really, really bad! And I just wanted her to stop yelling at me!" I notice Weiss coming our way

Jack: "Um... Ruby, behind you"

Weiss: "YOU!" Ruby jumps into Yang's arms

Ruby: "Oh God, it's happening again!" she whined

Weiss: "You're lucky we weren't blown off the side of the cliff!"

Yang: "Oh my god, you really exploded"

Ruby: "It was an accident!" Yang puts her down "It was an accident!" Weiss gets a filer 'Dust for dummies' in front of Ruby "What's this?"

Weiss: "The Schnee Dust Company is not responsible for any injuries or damages sustained while operating a Schnee Dust Company product. Although not mandatory, the Schnee Family highly encourages their customers to read and familiarize themselves with this easy to follow guide to Dust applications and practices in the field" she goes an octave higher with every word she says

Jack: "Wow, dad was right. Atlas people are snobbish as hell..."

Ruby: "Uuhhh...?"

Weiss: "You really wanna start making things up to me?"

Ruby: "Absolutely?" Weiss hands Ruby the filer "Read this, and don't ever speak to me again" Yang sheepishly scraps her head

Yang: "Look, uh... It sounds like you two got off on the wrong foot! Why don't you start over and try to be friends, okay?"

Ruby: "Yeah! Great idea, sis!" she holds out her hand and clears her throat "Hello, Weiss! I'm Ruby! Wanna hang out? We can go shopping for school supplies!"

Weiss: "Yeah! And we can paint our nails and try on clothes and talk about cute boys, like tall, blond, and scraggly over there!" she pointed at Jaune

Ruby: "Wow, really?!"

Weiss: "NO"

Jack: "Well, nothing was lost, except our time..." Our attention is drawn to the stage, where Ozpin is redying the microphone with Glyna standing next to him

Ozpin: "I'll... keep this brief. You have traveled here today in search of knowledge, to hone your craft and acquire new skills, and when you have finished, you plan to dedicate your life to the protection of the people. But I look amongst you, and all I see is wasted energy, in need of purpose, direction. You assume knowledge will free you of this, but your time at this school will prove that knowledge can only carry you so far. It is up to you to take the first step" Ozpin walks off and Glynda takes his place near the microphone

Glynda: "You will gather in the ballroom tonight. Tomorrow, your initiation begins. Be ready. You are dismissed"

Yang: "He seemed kind of... off"

Ruby: "It's almost like he wasn't even there" Jaune approaches Weiss

Jaune: "I'm a natural blond, you know!" Weiss pinches the bridge of her nose

Jack: "Well, time to go. Yang, Ruby, I will go train a little. Save me a spot, okay?"

Ruby: "Okay Jack! See you later!"

Yang: "Just be sure not to make some ladies faint" I smirk

Jack: "Heh, never change, Yang"

I went on my way to train

*timeskip, Ryuko POV*

After the speech, I went on a walk around Beacon, in hopes I will spot either Jack or Ruby. I don't really have any other friends here, so after some time I decided to make my way to the ballroom. After changing to my PJs, which consists of a pair of black shorts and a white tank top with a pusheen in front, I packed my clothes to my locker and grabbed my sleeping bag. I enter the ballroom in search of a spot.

???: "Ryuko! Over here!" I look to the source to see Yang waving at me. I made my way to them

Yang: "Well, look what the cat dragged in"

Ryuko: "Again with the cat puns? *sigh* I missed them" I smile lightly and then we hugged each other "It's good to see you Goldie"

Yang: "I can't say otherwise, Ryu Ryu. Come on, get your sleeping bag, and let's talk! It will be like a big slumber party!"

Ruby: "I don't think Dad and Jack would approve of all the boys, though"

Yang: "I know I do" she purrs until spotting... Jaune in his blue onesies before groaning

Ryuko: "Oh my... Someone told him it's Huntsman Academy and not a preschool, right?" I looked at Ruby "Whatch ya writing Rosie?"

Ruby: "A letter to the gang back at Signal. I promised to tell them all about Beacon and how things are going"

Yang: "Aw, that's so cuuuute!" Ruby throws a pillow at Yang

Ruby: "Shut up! I didn't get to take my friends with me to school! It's weird not knowing anyone here!"

Yang: "What about Jaune? He's... nice! And Ryuko is here! Here you go! Plus two friends! That's a two hundred percent increase!"

Ruby: "Pretty sure Weiss counts as a negative friend. Back to one..."

Ryuko: "Ruby, there are no negative friends. You just made one friend and one... How to put this lightly and child-friendly?"

Yang: "Enemy?"

Ryuko: "Yup! Enemy. Ruby, there are still four years ahead of us, you will make more friends. Speaking of friends, where's Jack?" Yang smirks

Yang: "Three weeks. And don't lie to my face, sister. I know a person in love when I see one" I blush a little more "Plus, that blush is not helping your case"

Ryuko: "Girls, really, I don't think Jack would like to go out with me" Yang groaned

Yang: "Stupid kitty... Ryuko, he's head over heels for you! Get the hint girl!"

Ryuko: "But what if he's not? I'm afraid..."

Ruby: "Afraid of what? It's not like Jack got someone, unless..."

Ryuko: "No! I mean... *sigh* Okay, girls, I'm guilty. I'm in love with Jack. Ever since Signal. Happy?"

Yang: "I'm sure I am. You should ask him out! Speaking of which. Hey Jack!" I hide in my sleeping bag, hoping Jack wouldn't notice me

'Why?! Why did he show up now?! Okay, Ryuko, breathe, Yang told you he feels the same about you as you do about him. Even if he... is... OH MY OUM HE'S HOT!' I took a look at approaching Jack and hide back

*Jack POV*

I made my way to Yang and Ruby, noticing a third sleeping bag near them

Jack: "Hey guys. Who's in this bag? Ruby's new friend?"

Yang: "Hey cuz! And you can say we have a cat in a bag here" she joked and I chuckled

Jack: "Heh. Well... Ryuko you can come out" Ryuko poked her head from her sleeping bag

Ryuko: "H-How did you know it was me?"

Jack: "I only know one cat Faunus with a tail like that" I pointed to her tail "Why were you hiding?"

Ryuko: "I... I just..."

Yang: "Come on Ryu Ryu. Tell Jack what you told me and Ruby" Ryuko glared at her before turning into a blushing mess

Ryuko: "I... Jack... would you... would you go somewhere with me?! Sorry!" she hid in her sleeping bag again

Jack: "Hmm? Yang, what's this about?"

Yang: "Oh brother... She asked you if you want to go out with her! Do I really have to spell it to you?!"

Jack: "Oh... Well, I suppose I can. After initiation sounds good, Kitty?" Ryuko perked from her sleeping bag

Ryuko: "Really?!" I nod "YES!"

???: "Can you be quiet? Some people want to read here"

Ryuko: "Sorry... Blake..." We looked to where Ryuko is looking, spotting Blake leaning against a wall and reading her book

Ruby: "That girl..."

Yang: "You know her sis?"

Ruby: "Not really. She saw what happened this morning, but left before I could say anything"

Yang: "Well, now's your chance!" she grabbed Ruby's arm and dragged her towards Blake while I and Ryuko laugh at them

Ryuko: "Good luck Ruby! Haha... hah..." she looked at me "Well, I guess it's time to sleep"

Jack: "Yup. Initiation is tomorrow. Ad we have to get some rest before I take you out on that date" I smirk

Ryuko: "D-date?! No one said anything about d-date! Stop implying things you jackass!"

Jack: "Yeah right"

Ryuko: "Fucking asshole..."

Jack: "You love me for it" I smirk again

Ryuko: "Fuck you Branwen..."

Jack: "You would like that"

Ryuko: "Jack Branwen... prepare to meet the rage of lightning!" I get up and run away outside the ballroom while Ryuko runs after me, throwing bolts of lightning at me.

Jack: "Ryuko! Calm down!"

Ryuko: "Make me, Bird Brain!"
