The next day at the meeting , Reuben and Ashton were just seated opposite to me and I just couldn't help but stare at them, thinking how could they be brothers. They have total opposite characters. Reuben, always grumpy, arrogant and rude. And Ashton, he seems to be friendly and caring from what I judged.

As I was about to remove my stare from them I realised Ashton caught me staring and he smiled at me. I blushed.

The meeting was over in 5 hours and as I was making my way to my room I heard someone called out my name. I turned to find Ashton smiling and coming towards me.

"Hey." He said.

"Oh hi."

"Ummh ... I..I just wanted ..... you know..... to ask if you're free tonight." He said nervously.

"Umm I guess." I replied.

"Ok so would like to go out for dinner tonight?... with me." He said.

Wait. Is he asking me out on a date? Oh. My. God.

"Are you asking me out on a date?" I said teasing him.

"I think so." He said." So will you?"

"I would love to." I replied.

"Great! I'll see you at 7:00 pm tonight then." He said.

"I'll be waiting."

I entered my room excitedly. I'm going out on a date with Ashton Bareth. I've waited for this my whole life.

"My my, you look so happy. Is there something I don't know about?" Anna said entering the room.

"You know what, Ashton asked me out." I squealed in excitement.

"What? Ashton asked you out?" She asked surprised.

"Yes!"

"He asked you out like on a date?" She asked again.

"Yes, he asked me to go out for dinner tonight." I replied walking excitedly towards my luggage, searching and trying out all the outfits.

"Gosh! I don't know what to wear. I should have brought more clothes with me." I said.

"Wait. Wait darling, you don't have to be too excited about it. It's just a date with Ashton Bareth." Anna said killing all my excitement in a split of a second.

"Why shouldn't I be? It's Ashton."
I said swinging the clothes on the bed and sitting down on the sofa beside me.

"That's what, it's Ashton Bareth."
She said.

"What do you mean it's Ashton Bareth." I replied.

"Oh darling don't you know? The Bareth brothers are womanizer. They are known for their tactics in capturing the women, use them and then discard them like a waste tissue." She said with disgust in her voice."They are the wolves and the women are the poor little lamb."

"Use them? How?" I asked Anna.

"Use them in bed. For sex." She said.

I gasped.

"Hey, I don't mean to scare you." Anna said. "Come on it can't be that bad either, it's just a dinner."

"What if he try to do something?"
I asked her worriedly.

"Don't worry he won't. I know him for years. He may be a womanizer but he has got his standards." She said assuring me.

"Now, shouldn't you be getting ready for the dinner?" She said smiling.

"Yeah of course. But I don't know what to wear." I said helplessly.

"Ummm... I like that blue dress which you were trying before." She said.

"This?" I asked.

"Yes, that's the one for tonight."

After an hour I was ready for the dinner.

"You look beautiful." Anna exclaimed.

"Thank you."

I heared the door knock.

"He's here. Good luck. Have a great night." Anna said kissing me on my cheek.

"Bye, see you later." I said.

I walked towards the door, took a deep breath and opened it. He was dressed in a black suit and looked really handsome.

"You look beau-beautiful." He said.

"Thank you." I said and blushed.

"Let's get going." He said and leaded me to a black limousine.

Then suddenly my phone rings. It was Reuben. As I was about to answer the call.

"Don't." Ashton said surprising me.

"Why he's my boss I can't just ignore him anyway." I replied

"Well ignore him only for tonight."

"Don't answer." He added again.

I gave him a hesitant look.

"Come on It'll be fine." He said and shove me inside the car.

Reuben's POV

I poured myself a glass of whiskey and step towards the window.The view was beautiful but it reminds me of the person I tried hard to forget.

I sipped in the last mouth of whiskey when suddenly my eyes caught a black limousine making its stop at the entrance of the hotel. The limousine's door opens and a man in black suit steps out of it. I watch more closely and I instantly recognized that physique. What is Ashton doing with the limousine?Why is he in a suit tonight? Why isn't he in his jeans as usual? I was confused. What is he up to?

After 10 minutes he came out with a woman in a blue dress.......... Isn't that Kaesy PachelbeI ? It's her. I felt a knife stab through my chest. Where are they going?

I quickly dailed Kaesy's number. The phone began to ring. I glanced through the window and saw her drawing out her cell phone from her purse. I waited for her to answer but after a few ring she place the cell phone back to her purse again. It stabbed my chest a hundred times more harder.

Anna, I remembered she must be knowing something. I dailed her number.

"Hello sir."

"Where is Kaesy?" I demanded.

"She's not here.... uhh she went on a da- she went for dinner with Ashton." She replied hesitantly.

I hung up the phone.

A date? Did they really went out for a date? Is there something going on between them? They had been smiling and exchanging glances even during the meeting today.

I pour myself another glass of whiskey but the thought of them being together made my whiskey taste bad.

Damn I don't know what's wrong with me. Ever since I met Kaesy I just couldn't get her out of my mind. Her thoughts has been haunting me.

I got to do something for her, something more than what Ashton is doing, something more than a date.
