January

I was at home and it was Christmas Eve. Que has been in and out all day. In fact he has been in out the duration of the week. Alicia and my sisters were coming over today so that we could catch up. Since this pregnancy I have been tired and I haven't been working a lot. There are times that Que fusses when I do go but he will be alright. My parents are really happy and my brother is more than happy. I can say that I am truly blessed at this moment because I have a good man and I know without a doubt he loves me. I looked down at my stomach and placed my hands there. I couldn't help but think about the photos that we took and how Que constantly kept his hands on my stomach. It was the cutest and sweetest thing ever.

"Hey lil one. I can't wait for you to get here and I hope that I am a good mother to you. You are going to have the best father and you are going to be showered with so much love. I love you." I said smiling down at my stomach and tears streamed down my face.

This pregnancy has my hormones and emotions all over the damn place. The door bell rang and I got up and walked to the door. When I did I was bombarded with my entire family. I had to back up some so I wouldn't get knocked over.

My dad hugged me followed by my mom who was now in remission with her cancer. I noticed that Johntae had a female with him and she was gorgeous. The more I looked at her I realized I remembered her from the fashion show because she was one of the models. I did her make-up back stage.

I walked over to where they were standing and I cleared my throat to get there attention. They both looked at me with warm bright smiles. Johntae was obviously having a slow moment so I had to introduce myself.

"Hey I'm January." I said shaking her hand.

"It's so good to finally meet you and I'm Ba'Leena." She said smiling.

"You too and make sure you treat my brother good." I said with a wink walking off to where my sisters and Alicia were.

They turned around smiling at me as each one of them took turns rubbing my stomach.

"Jan I am so happy for you and Que. You deserve it. The both of you do." Alicia said.

I felt my water works about to start again.

"Jan you are an amazing young woman that has garnered so much strength. You have been through more than people twice your age and I gotta say that I am proud to call you my sister." Ray said.

Now I was crying. I knew it wasn't going to be long.

"January you are my sister whom I will die for, ride for, hell I am here period and I am so happy for the way things have turned out. I'm honored to call you my sister." Nesha said.

Hell all of us were crying by now. Then when I thought all the semtiments were done here comes my brother. He wrapped his arm around my shoulder and looked down into my tear stained face.

"Lil sis you know I am proud of you and all you have overcame and accomplished. This is the happiest that I have ever saw you and I am so happy for all your happiness. You deserve it more than anybody I know." He said kissing my cheek.

"Damn y'all for making me cry." I said laughingly.

"We love you too January!" They all said at the same time.

Jacquees

Issa and I were at the jewelers. This has been so hard trying to keep January off my trail because I am busy trying to set everything up. She doesn't know I that I plan on marrying her on her birthday, which is on New Year's day. I am going to propose on tomorrow and I hope that she says yes. I wanted a customized ring made for January because she is special and unique in her own way.

"Damn man I know January is probably wondering what the hell is going on?" Que said.

"I know she is but in the end it will all be worth it. Man I am so happy for you and I wish you guys the best."

"Thanks bruh. I really appreciate it. I love her so damn much and I feel like it is time to make it official."

Just then the Jeweler came out with the ring. It as a Neil Lane Bridal engagement ring. It was 2.5 carats and I added the black diamond in the middle. I had the inside of the ring engraved with Jacquees and January. Issa and I looked at each other and smiled while nodding our heads in satisfaction.

"Que man this ring fye for real and I know January gone damn near pass out when she see it." Issa said.

"January is a lucky woman because this ring is simply gorgeous." The jeweler said.

"No I'm the lucky one." Que said.

The jeweler smiled and rung up the ring. The totally would have made a lesser man flinch but not Que.

"That will be $8789.75." The jeweler said.

He pulled out his black card and gave it to the jeweler. After it was paid for they walked out to Que's car.

I had been busy booking venues and Ray and Nesha helped me with getting January's dress. The wedding planner that her mom hired has been working with both my mom and hers. I wanna make sure this is a wedding she never forgets because she deserves it. That's my Queen and I am her King.

"Now Que where the hell you gone tell her you been when she ask this time?"

"Shit man. I don't even know. I just hope that her family has been keeping her occupied to where she won't even think about it." Que said rubbing his hands down his face.

I can't wait to see the expression her face when all this takes place tomorrow. I think this will be the best surprise ever. It will be January's Christmas Surprise....
