January

I had just let Marissa do my make-up and let Jy'don do my hair. I was waiting on Que to pick me up since he didn't want me to drive this morning. He has been so sweet lately. Well he is always sweet but more so now that we are about to have a family. He is so attentive to all my needs and I do mean all my needs. Every since that night I pratically begged Que to have sex with me, I have been thinking about it non-stop. I gotta admit that he put it on me.

A lady walked in and wanted her make-up done. I was going to send her to Marissa. After everything went down the way it did in LA I closed that boutique and changed the name to the one I have here in Atlanta to JS Comestics. I didn't want to lose Marissa because she had mad skills. As far as Lacy she is still managing everything and is holding it down. I brought myself out of my thoughts and focused on the lady in front of me.

"Welcome to JS Cosmetics. I'm January. How may I assist you today?"

"Hi January. I am actually looking to get my make-up done because I have a charity function tonight and I want to look dazzling." She said smiling warmly.

"Okay I'm sure I can help you with that." I said as I started walking to over to my station.

"Have a seat and I will be right back."

She nodded her head and started doing something in her phone. I went and got the cape to put around her and came back to place it around her.

"I'm sorry I didn't catch your name." I said as I adjusted the cape around her shoulders.

"I'm Clarice Simmons."

"Oh its nice to meet you Mrs. Simmons. Now what type of look are you wanting for your event tonight?"

"I want something tasteful and very detailed."

"Well Mrs. Simmons you have come to the right place and person."

"I knew that when I walked in dear."

I looked at her strangely as I put the brushes and out on the counter. I cleaned her face and then I put primer on so that the  make-up would last.

There was minimal conversation as I focused on the task at hand. I was so engrossed in what I was doing that I didn't notice that Que walked in.

I was just about finished with her make-up when I felt arms wrap around my waist as hands were placed on my tummy.

"Hey baby."

"Hey you." I said blushing.

"Give me a second to wrap this up and we can head out."

"Okay." He said kissing me on my cheek.

"He really loves you. It shows and I can hear it in his voice."

"Excuse me!" I said shocked as I looked over at Que. He was focused on his phone and didn't notice me watching him.

"No need to be alarmed. I have been around for a long time and I know true love...real love when I see it. I sense that you two have been through a great ordeal to get to the place you are now. You have been through a lot and it almost made you become a bitter person until you met him."

I just stood there with my blush brush in my hand while leaning my hip against the counter. I didn't know what to say. It was like this lady knew who I was and I knew nothing about her.

"H..How do you know that? I mean how can you tell."

"I know a lot things January. I am a very wise woman."

I let her words sink as I finished her make-up. Once I was done I turned her around so that she could look in the mirror to see the work I had done.

"Oh I love it! I knew I would because you have an amazing gift that is going to take you a lot of places. How much do I owe you?"

"Mrs. Simmons it's on the house. Consider it a Christmas present."

"January you have a heart of gold. And because you have been through so much you are going to have a blessed and abundant life. I wish you could see all I see that is in store for you. The child you are carrying is going to be a double blessing and you will see what I mean in due time." She said rising from the chair and walking out.

I walked to the door looking to see which way she went and it was like she disappeared in thin air. This pregnancy must be making me hallucinate or something. I thought to myself.

I walked back to Que and asked him if he was ready. He nodded and walked to my station and got my purse and jacket.

Que and I were dressed in the same colors. He had on some black True's with a red long-sleeved True Religion shirt. True Religion was written in black on the front. He had on a black and red varsity jacket with his name on the back. He had on a black ATL snapback.  I had on some black leggings with a red and black long-sleeved shirt. had on a varsity jacket with January on the back. We both had on our red and black Jordan 10's.

We walked out and he placed his hand on the small of my back as we walked to his car. He opened th door for me and before he closed the door he bent down and kissed me on the lips.

He got in the car and he looked at me with so much love in his eyes it almost brought tears to my eyes.

"Who was that lady you were talking to? Que asked

"I really don't know other than Mrs. Simmons. She was really nice and she seemed to know so much about me. It was like she could see in my past, present and future. That was really weird to me." I said shrugging.

"That does seem odd but believe it or not she could be an angel in disguise." He said as he continued to drive down the road.

We pulled up to this building that looked like a studio. I looked over at Que trying to figure out why we were here but he just smiled getting out of the car. He came around and opened the door for me. When I stepped out he looked at me deep in the eyes while just smiling. Of course I smiled back.

"January you know you mean the world to me and I couldn't ask for a better woman to be the mother of my child. We have been to hell and back but nevertheless our love prevailed it all. I love you so much. He said kissing me passionately.

"I love you too. And thank you for always being there."

"Now baby tell my why we are here? Then you specified this morning that you wanted us to be in the same colors. Why is that?" I said wrapping my arms around his neck.

He eased back and my arms fell to my side. He grabbed my hand as we walked inside the building. When we got inisde I notice that different props were set up but I was a little confused as to what was about to take place. I mean it looked like a photo shoot.

"Que who is about to take pictures?"

"We are. This is something that I always wanted to do but never found nobody that I wanted to do it with until I met you."

"Aww. I will be more than happy to take pictures with you. I wouldn't want it any other way. We walked up to the photographer and he smiled at us.

"Que this must be the January."

"It is. This my heart like for real."

"She's beautiful."

"Thanks."

"Well let's get started." Kam said.

We did so many poses I couldn't keep up. Out of all the poses that we did there was one that took my heart and breath away. I was standing up and Que was kneeled in front of me with his hands on my stomach as he looked up at me. I had my hands on his cheeks while looking down at him in the manner that he was looking up at me. That pose said so much with out actually having to speak words. That was the most precious moment and anyone that came in the room would be able to see the love we have for each other.

I thought back to the lady at my make-up boutique and it was like this moment right here was part of what she was talking about. Maybe she is an angel in disguise because she knows all about the love we have....
