P.O.V. [Name]

I was walking down the streets with Yuno. I really am glad that she fell in love with me. She's the best thing that's happened to me in this lifetime of fucked up shit I've gone through.

"Come on [Name] it's this way." She said running a little bit a head of me. Then again being your uncle's guinea pig will make pretty much any relationship seem like that I guess.

We walked down an allyway and Yuno stopped and looked at me. I walked up to her and she smiled and looked at me. "[Name] you love me right?" She asked looking at me.

"Yeah of course I do." I said looking at her.

"Would you let me be happy with someone else?" She asked looking at me.

I was quite for a moment just thinking about what she asked. After a few moments of thinking and I eventually answered. "It'd probably hurt at first but yeah I think I'd let you go if it meant you were going to be happy with someone else." I said looking at her.

She looked a little sad for a moment before she I felt a sudden sharp pain in my back. 'Shit looks like they . . . Got. . . Me,' I thought to myself as I hit the ground and my vision slowly faded to black.

I awoke to a familiar cracking sound. When I opened my eyes fully I felt my chest and stomach in an huge amount of pain.

I looked up and saw my uncle standing there looking at me and another man holding a whip in his hand. "The hell?" I asked aloud.

"Hello my dear nephew. I told you not to leave a trail or to stay in one place for to long. I'll give some credit your trail was almost impossible to pick up on but staying in one place for almost three months that was just plan wreckless." He said sitting down on a chair.

"Where's Yuno?" I asked looking at him.

"She's with Yuki." I heard him say.

"Liar now where is she." I said looking at him. When I said this he smiled and brought a small TV into the room. I sa2 red light on side something my uncle had tought me about.

It meant that this was a live feed. On the screen was something that broke my heart though. Yuno was holding hands with Yuki and smiling.

"Believe me now?" My uncle asked looking at me.

"What do you want?" I asked looking at him.

"I want you," he said looking at me.

"Come again?" I asked looking at him.

"I know it was wrong of me to sign you up for death just like that and . . . okay I'm gonna drop the act. Look fact is we can't beat you you're to good there I said. We want you back in the organization." He said looking at me.

"Why? So you can write me off for dead again yeah I don't think so buddy." I said looking at him.

"Actually no we've come up with a way to ensure that you won't betray us and it'll help get rid of that pain." He said looking at me.

"What pain?" I asked looking at him.

"Look you're my nephew I've known you ever since the day you were born. I can tell when something's off. I'm sure seeing how easily Yuno left you for someone Yuki breaks your heart right. After all you are the superior choice aren't you?" He said looking at me.

"I was raised to believe I was better than everyone guess it just goes to show how far my arrogance has come." I said looking at him.

"Yes you're a foolish idoit who has made more mistakes than anyone else in this organization yet you are without a doubt the best that we have to offer. So we can make it to were we know we won't loose you and take this pain away from you." He said looking at me.

This sounds great I guess everyone wins Yuno's happy I won't have to this horrible pain anymore and my uncle's organization gets their best agent back everyone wins. . . wait a minute this is my uncle we're talking about. He never makes any kind of offer unless he knows he'll come out on top.

"What's the catch?" I asked looking at him.

"Hahahahaha as cautious as ever I see. Well yes there is a catch and yes it does benefit me more than you." He said reaching into his pocket and pulling out a small device.

"What is it?" I asked looking at him.

"To put it simply it's a mind control device. It'll separate any and all memories you have of Yuno while also making you an emotionless killer." He said looking at me.

He laid the small device on the ground and passed it over to me. "Your call." He said looking at me.

I picked it up and looked at him. "Are you sure it'll make this pain go away?" I asked looking at him.

"Yes it is garunteed that you'll never feel any emotion other than what I want you to feel." He said looking at me. I then picked up the small device and looked at him.

"What do I do with it?" I asked looking at him.

"It's a simple injection place it in your ear and in the morning I know that you'll be the nephew I always wanted." He said looking at me. When he said this I nodded and placed it in my ear.

"Now just go to sleep." He said looking at me. I nodded and liad on my side and within minutes I felt the pain of me losing Yuno slowly fade away. I knew this was going to bite me in the ass but anything's better than having to feel this pain.
