After a long explanation and with the help of Sakura you were free to roam the hidden leaf village. To your benefit the hokage was very touched by your story and had you vow not to leave the village ...ever. At least not until you have gained control over your stone. He promised to speak with Kakashi and try to convince him to take you on as his student, however his opinions of Kakashi were similar to Sakura's and changing this man's mind is going to be tough.

You had spent the rest of the day familiarizing yourself with everything he likes so you could present a variety of suck up items at his office first thing every morning.

Day 1:

Today is Monday, and Kakashi has a crap load of paperwork to catch up on from the weekend so he will definitely be in his office today...all day. Evil grin.

You sit on the floor with your back against the wall beside his office door. You had asked around if anyone knew when he would be in but no one could tell you a solid time as it changes everyday. Luckily, as you had already bought the hot latte, he showed up at 9am.

You hear his footsteps down the hall and watch him struggle to get his keys from his pocket unaware of your presence at the moment. He doesn't notice you until he nearly trips over your leg.

"What the?" He gasps.

In a very overly generous voice you say.
"Good morning, Kakashi sensei!" You smile and offer him his coffee.

He glares at you, then the coffee and just when you thought he was going to take it he opens the door to his office and shuts the door in your face.
Big sigh...

Minutes go by...you were about to give up, then the door knob jiggles and Kakashi pokes his head outside.
"Is that a coconut latte?"

"Umm...yeah..."

"Sugar free?"

"You bet!"

He swipes it from your hands, thanks you and shuts the door on your face again. You slam your fist on the door, not giving up.
"Kakashi! Be my sensei!"

"No! ...Go away!!"

Double sigh.

"Alright! Have a good day! See you tomorrow!"

"No you won't!"

"Yes I will!"

Silence.....

You leave his office with the same determination as before. Tonight you will broil up some saury...puke....for his lunch tomorrow.
