FIVE ♡ THE GORILLA RETURNS

(PICTURE OF MR. FARRIER)

"You don't think-"

"No." I laughed as Rachel begun typing into the Instagram search bar: Mr. Farrier.

"He wouldn't." Ruth laughed, leaning over, looking down at Rachel's screen.

We waited patiently (sort of) as Instagram searched for any accounts under the name of Mr. Farrier.

"Oh my god." Rachel cried, bringing the phone closer to our faces.

"No way." Slipped from my lips, I was so flabbergasted. This gorilla actually, literally, named his Instagram account 'Mr. Farrier'.

"English teacher 4 lyfe." Rachel mumbled reading over his bio.

"The irony, he's a English teacher that can't spell." I laughed.

"He seems cool." Ruth slapped my arm lightly.

"Loves to play the drums." Rachel finished reading his bio.

I couldn't keep my large grin down any longer.

"Very cool, from his emoji with sunglasses to his misspellings." I said raising my hand into a rock pose.

Rachel giggled along with me as I tried my utmost best holding my punk rock face, sticking my tongue out like I was apart of KISS, the band.

"Sh*t." Ruth murmured as she covered the screen with the palm of her hand.

In walked 'Mr. Farrier'.

"The Gorilla returns." I said in a suspenseful manner.

"Dun-dun-dun!" Rachel added.

We watched him as he made his way up to the counter ordering three more boxes of different flavoured doughnuts.

Must have been getting more for the other staff members.

The lady from earlier nodded, putting in his order as he handed her a twenty-dollar slip.

Once again, from what I could (barely) hear he gave her the same name as before.

He started retrieving from the register letting the customer behind him go in front to make their order.

He pulled out his phone, tapping on the screen several times.

Nonchalantly, he was leaning against the round table.

"Mr. Farrier." The lady called out more certainly this time.

At first he hadn't realised she had called him, too engrossed in what was on his phone.

"Mr. Farrier?"

His eyes snapped up, looking at us, more specifically, the phone that was peaking out from under Ruth's fingertips.

"Mr. Farrier?" The lady called one last time before he looked away from us, and walked over to pick up his order.

He made his way out of the store, shoving his phone back into his pocket, staring at us the whole time as he walked out.

I looked away quickly pretending we hadn't noticed but Ruth and Rachel on the other hand didn't seem to think it was necessary to look away.

Ruth removed her hand from the screen, exhaling.

"That was close." She laughed.

"You bet." Rachel agreed.

As I took Ruth's phone my phone my eyes bulged.

"Guys..." I tried calling out to them but they didn't seem to notice.

"Imagine how awkward that would have been if he saw us stalking his Instagram?"

"Well-"

"I know!" Ruth laughed.

"Guys!" I yelled, as almost everyone's attention in the store was on me.

I whispered in a low tone after this.

"Ruth, I think you just requested to follow him."

-

"Eugene! I died!" I exclaimed, in a fit of tears as he laughed too.

"Oh no she didn't!" He snapped his fingers in a joking manner as I nodded quickly, leaning back.

I turned as I saw Adrian walking down the stairs that led up to their house. The bakery was connected to the Heywood's household.

Smiling, I waved at him as he shifted the packet of flour he was holding in his arms to his left side, his now free hand waved back at me.

A screech left my parted lips, I could feel myself falling off the stool as I braced myself for the impact.

"Jesus-" Adrian shot out as he raced down the stairs.

Groaning, I clutched my arm when the two came by my side.

My eyes squeezed shut as my arms around me gripped harder.

There was a soaring pain running through my bones in my right arm.

Adrian prompted me up by his side as Eugene somewhat sounded as if he was hurdling up the stairs.

"F*ck." I grumbled as Adrian laughed.

After a moment or two I could hear the loud steps of Eugene running down the stairs.

"Oh my god!" Adrian screamed as my eyes cracked open.

Eugene was on his bottom, falling down the stairs as I had just realised he wasn't alone.

Damon behind him quickly ran down to stop him, wrapping his long fingers on both sides on Eugene's shoulders, stopping him from falling down. His face read of complete concern, his chest rising and falling.

A breath I hadn't even realised I was keeping in left my lips.

"I'm fine." Eugene was quick to reassure us as he turned back and placed a hand on Damon's shoulder.

"Thank you son."

Damon at first stared at him with big eyes. Before he looked away and shrugged Eugene's hand off of him.

"Whatever." He grumbled.

The excruciating pain for a moment was absent when I was so focused on Eugene but soon returned.

Eugene didn't even think about dusting himself off before he came rushing to my side with Damon following shortly behind with a packet of iced peas and his phone in his other hand.

"Hurry." Adrian snapped at Damon as he didn't bother to answer, passing the bag to Adrian before tapping away at his phone.

Adrian pressed the cold packet against my arm as I gasped, a shaky breath.

Damon was mumbling to himself, as he read something.

"It's says, signs of a fractured arm are; pain."

"Well nah." Adrian replied frustrated, he seemed to only get frustrated around his brother really.

He cussed under his breath saying things like 'f*cking chill', but from the looks of it no one heard him besides me.

"There's also swelling, and-" he stopped, shoving Adrian. "Just move."

Adrian did as told, not bothering to argue. Damon's large hands gripped my shoulders as he replaced where Adrian just was, prompting me up.

After I was leaning against his chest he let go my shoulders scrolling down his phone, concentrated.

His eyes bulged, as he peered down at my arm.

"What?" I croaked as the pain was starting to become unbearable.

He gently wrapped his fingers around my wrist as I gasped, pushing away from him.

"Stop. Stop." I cried as he quickly let go.

I begin to kick my feet- a habit I've had since a kid when I fell or something.

"Wow," he laughed as he placed a hand down on my legs to keep them in place.

"It's not a time for laughing Damon." Adrian groaned.

Damon rolled his eyes at this mumbling 'f*ck okay'.

"Adrian help me find the first aid kit." Eugene pulled at his son's arm as they hurdled up the stairs.

"Stop cussing, would you?" I whispered, as I closed my eyes leaning completely into him as he grunted.

"F*ck. Sh*t. Mother-"

A sharp pain ran through me like before. I cried out, my free hand covering my mouth as I bit down on my fingers.

The ice was helping, but the pain still came rushing through me.

"Get me a towel!" Damon yelled out as Eugene came running down the stairs with a first aid kit. Adrian ran back up.

Eugene plonked the kit on the ground next to us, snapping the lid off.

"Tape, scissors, bandaids..." He searched through it, as items flew out onto the ground. "Bandages... Bandages?" He raised an eyebrow, looking back at Damon as he scrolled down his phone, averting my eyes cautiously, making sure not to move my body I had realised he was on some medical site.

"I don't know, it doesn't say anything-"

Eugene just threw the bandages at Damon anyways, Damon caught it single handedly.
