Flowed with the tide,
My beliefs, I did not abide.

Tried to please everyone,
Lost everything at once.

With everyone, it all seemed okay,
But now its time to speak up and say.

Make your path, forge your way,
The ship now leaves the safety of bay.

Yes, it's diffcult, yes, we are all alone,
To dangers and conflict we are prone.

But equipped with a belief and blessings,
We are immune to devious schemings.

Floating, not yet sinking,
Going where the tide is flowing.

Don't please anyone anymore,
They're not worth making your throat sore.

Now shoulders back and your chin up,
Stand for yourself and make that jump.

It's time to swim against the current,
It's time rise up and again be confident.
