Days and a week had passed since HQ and Hyperion's joint invasion on Schicksal's Gamindustri base had been successful.

From what Bradley told Alex in the days after, The base was deemed a total loss that Otto was forced to move back to Schicksal HQ at England so Otto was gone for good.

Suprisingly, Alex found out on his own that Tesla had stayes behind and worked make-shift side jobs so they could stay in touch.

The two most important things in the aftermath is that shockingly, Bradley and Theresa had agreed to a partnership between Black Ops HQ and Hyperion as both organizations promised not to betray or attack each other.

Most importantly, Alex's life has been taking a massive turn around.

Living with Rita and Kaitlyn opened up a side of him that he hadn't used in a while which was his socialization side.

Alex was good at socializing but all the years of isolation had made him such a hermit that he forgot how to blend in properly.

Thanks to Rita and Kaitlyn, he was able to open up that side of him again.

Everyday had a usual routine as Alex would always wake up early and then wake up Kaitlyn so they could have Rita's freshly cooked breakfast which she always prepared for.

Even though Alex really didn't want to have any, Rita was very adamant that he'd never skip it.

Today was no different as Alex and Kaitlyn were ready to eat breakfast which Rita was almost done with.

'Wait. Does this mean I unintentionally have a maid? Wait I never even hired. Does this mean she works for no money?" Alex contiued to overthink this as the food had been set down.

That immediately took his mind of things as all three began to eat peacefully.

Soon after a bit, Kaitlyn had finished early and walked off back to her room leading Alex and Rita to look at each other.

"Spill it. You've been waiting to say something." Said Alex.

"You can see well. Anyways, it's about our other resident here."

"You mean Jackie? What about her?"

"She's been heading out more and more and staying out longer and longer."

"As she said, she's handling personal issues."

"Don't you think these personal issues seem a bit fishy? I mean, I've had to deal with personal issues myself but they've never been this long or frequent. I'm just, worried."

"Yeah I know. So am I but we've just gotta take it at face value. It's all I can really do."

Rita sighed and nodded as she agreed and continued to eat.

Soon both were done eating and washed their plates.

"So, any new plans now that you and Kaitlyn are free?"

"Kaitlyn said she wanted to dye her hair to blonde and get her eye color changed to blue."

"She wants to look like the real Kaitlyn?"

"She doesn't care that she's a clone Alex. She embraces that side but just wants to look like how she naturally did."

"Yeah that's reasonable."

"What about you? Any plans you have?"

"Honestly, no I don't. I probably might later but for now, I'm staying."

Rita nodded and finished washing her plate as she went to go get Kaitlyn as Alex finished washing his plate and laid down on the couch.

Both Rita and Kaitlyn came and bid Alex a quick farewell before leaving his apartment room for the day.

Alex sighed and relaxed on the couch getting comfortable.

He was fully sure he wasn't gonna be doing anything as he had a day off and he rarely got called to do anything.

That was until he suddenly got a call and groaned as he sat up and answered.

"Hello?" He said with a slight hint of annoyance.

"Yo Alex. How've you been?" Said the familiar voice of Uni.

All annoyance immediately went away from Alex's voice.

"I've been fine Uni. Has your annoying sister stopped being an asshole?"

"Again, she doesn't hate you she had a hard time getting her love across. Anyways, I just got done with my work and since I know today you have an off day, why don't we go on a hangout today?"

This had been the first time in a while Uni had asked him on a date. Obviously he wasn't gonna decline.

"Sure Uni I'm down. Where're we gonna meet up?"

"At our usual crosswalk. It's decently in downtown so we can go to many shops and hangout locations."

"Alright then. I'll be there." Alex hanged up and got ready as he then left his apartment locking it and leaving a spare key once Rita and Kaitlyn came back.

After walking around ignoring the hateful glares.

He soon made it to a crosswalk and waited there for Uni.

As he surveyed the area after waiting for a few minutes, he saw Uni across from her as she waves excitedly as Alex calmly waved back.

Uni ran across the crosswalk not paying attention that some person had intentionally run a red light at high speed.

Alex's noticed this and immediately gained tunnel vision as he only had one thing focused in his mind and vision.

Saving Uni.

In an instant, everything else went blank, as he dashed forward as quick as possible, shoving Uni out of the way at the last second.

She landed with a thud on the ground groaning a bit.

Uni took a sec to survey he surroundings as she saw a vehicle immediately drive away quickly in an instant.

Uni was confused until she looked in front of her and grew horrified.

Alex laid there limp and motionless. Already feeling cold and numb to the touch, eyes faded out.

"A-Alex! Alex please!" Uni immediately grabbed him, not caring his blood was staining her dress and hands.

"P-Please stay with me! C-Crap I gotta find a hospital quick!" Said Uni as she panicked more since that part of the city didn't have a hospital nearby.

As she grew more and more worried, she felt a tap on her.

"You seem to need medical assistance." A voice behind Uni said.
