Two days after Jimin had walked out of his life, Taehyung was a mess - he couldn't eat, he couldn't sleep. He had apologized the day Jimin found out about his affair but no matter how much he begged, Jimin wasn't coming back and Taehyung knew he had made the biggest mistake in his life ever hurting his tiny angel, all to satisfy a momentary sexual desire. 

Taehyung went to Jungkook's apartment to apologise yet again but Jungkook never let Taehyung enter the apartment to meet the smaller. Jungkook was pissed at what Taehyung had done. Jungkook had let Jimin go because he thought Taehyung would be the best to happen to Jimin but boy, was he wrong. Now watching Taehyung plead with tears streaming down his face only made Jungkook hate the other more. 

"Just shut up already!" Jungkook yells one day "...he isn't coming back to you. He has made his peace with the whole situation and has moved on. No matter how many times you come over, he is not going to accept you. Would you have accepted him if he was the one who cheated on you?…." Jungkook sighs seeing Taehyung's guilt ridden face "....If you really care about him then let him go. Let him finally breathe and be happy…. You know right now he needs all the love and support and care he can get…. He is carrying your child after all…" Taehyung sobs "...He will eventually forgive you, because you know how soft hearted he is. He still cares about you…" a tear falls from Taehyung's eye ".. don't worry, he will never stop you from getting to know your child if that's what you want …. But please for now… understand him and never come back!"

Taehyung was heart broken hearing this but he needed to hear this, he had to accept the truth, what he did to Jimin was unforgivable and if he really wanted a chance with his child then he needed to give Jimin his space.

Taehyung rushes to the hospital when he gets to know Jihyun was born. He watches as Jimin held the baby close to his chest, Jungkook standing right next to him and Taehyung couldn't help the jealousy he felt and then the sadness that hit him - if I never cheated, that would have been me next to Jimin. 

"May I?" Taehyung says cutting through the peaceful silence that had come to surround Jimin and Jungkook. 

Jimin looks at Jungkook and nods. Jungkook hums as he lifts the baby off Jimin and walks him over to Taehyung.

"Hey baby boy…." Taehyung's voice is wavering and soft as he tries to control his tears "...I'm your dadda…" Taehyung whispers softly before he leans down to kiss the sleeping baby. He sits with the baby for a while before the nurses come to take Jihyun. Taehyung hesitantly hands the baby over to the nurse and sobs watching his baby go.

Jungkook walks over to him and pats his back "...congrats"

Taehyung hums as he finally looks over at Jimin who was laying on the bed 

"How are you Jimin?" He asks

"...I have been better" Jimin jokes slightly but frowns when he sees Taehyung's red eyes "...you know I forgive you right?"

Taehyung nods his head - Jimin had called him a couple of months back to tell him that he forgave him and that Taehyung can stop sending flowers and gift baskets

"...what's his name?" Taehyung asks Jimin 

"Jihyun…" Jimin smiles "...Park Jihyun"

"Park?" Taehyung asks confused

"He is your son but I will not have your name added to his… I think that will be a lifelong regret you will have whenever you see your son" Jimin says calmly 

"Jimin…" 

"Taehyung … thank you for Jihyun but your role in my life is over… when Jihyun is old enough he can decide for himself what he wants ...but till then he will remain a Park"

"I'm your dadda…" Taehyung says to Jihyun when he goes to meet the 2 year old 

Jihyun shakes his head, pointing at Jungkook ".. dadda…" and then points at Taehyung "...uncle"

Taehyung's heart breaks when his own son calls him that and when Jimin doesn't correct the boy, he knew he couldn't do anything about it

Jihyun was 10 years old when he gets to know that the man he thought was an uncle was really his biological dad.

Jimin thought Jihyun was old enough to handle the truth, but Jungkook was afraid that Jihyun would hate him

"Dadda…" Jihyun says going to Jungkook "....you have always been my dadda… please don't stop being my dad… I love you so much… I'm so thankful that you took me as your own…" Jihyun says crying, his head bowed down 

Jungkook cries as he hugs the kid "...you are my son,no matter what anyone says …. You will always be my son…. Please don't hate me"

"Never…" Jihyun cries on Jungkook's chest

Taehyung watches the interaction with an ache in his chest. When Jimin asked him to be there for the big reveal, he stupidly believed his son would see him as the dad now.

"....Uncle…" Jihyun says facing Taehyung now "....It's nice to know that you are my biological father,  it's always good to have more people who love you but this man here…" Jihyun says holding Jungkook's hand "...he will always be my dadda"

Taehyung left the house with tears in his eyes. He could never get his family back the way he wanted. He really screwed up. If only he never gave in to his lustful desires, if only he was more open to Jimin about his sexual tastes, if only…. If only.. 

Taehyung chuckled sadly as he drove his car back home - there is no use crying over spilled milk now

Jungkook puts Jihyun to bed, kissing his forehead softly before going into the bedroom to find Jimin standing there in front of the mirror looking at his shirtless body

"Are you okay baby?" Jungkook asks backhugging the smaller

Jimin hums as he catches Jungkook's gaze in the mirror

"...are you still taking the fertility injections and medicines the doctor gave you?" Jimin asks

"Yea… I still am… actually tomorrow I have to go get another injection" 

"I think you should stop taking them" Jimin says making Jungkook's grip on his waist drop

"What?" Jungkook couldn't believe what Jimin was saying "...but I thought you wanted a big family.." Jimin turns around to face the taller "...don't you want that anymore?"

"I still do…" Jimin blushes as he pats his tummy "....but I think we can stop trying…"

"Why?!" Jungkook was angry

"Because I'm pregnant" Jimin giggles seeing Jungkook's eyes comically widen

"...what?" Jungkook's voice cracks

Jimin hums taking out the pregnancy kit from his pocket "...I'm pregnant"

Jungkook sits on the bed, his face buried into his palms

"Honey, are you okay?" Jimin asks concerned 

"Thank you thank you thank you" Jungkook pulls Jimin onto his lap and buries his head on Jimin's shoulder 

Jimin smiles softly as he pats the taller's hair

"I love you so much Jimin… you have given me so much more than I could ever deserve…" Jungkook was full on crying now making Jimin's throat close in a sob as well 

"I love you too Jungkook ah… you have always been the supporting pillar in my life… I don't know what I would have done without you…" Jimin wipes away the taller's tears 

Jungkook reaches out to wipe the smaller's tears before slowly leaning up to place a soft sweet kiss onto Jimin's lips "...I love you Jimin"

"I love you too Jungkook.."
