A few days after the little sleepover the team of the 118 was called to a largescale operation. When they arrived at the accident location, first they where shocked. Hunderets of kids in Chris age walked over the street on the other side. There was a big playground where they were save from the fire, that blazed out of some windows of the elementary school. Eddie and Buck looked at each other, knowing it wasn't Christophers school, but a simular feeling. There were little kids, who are scared as hell and Buck couldn't stand seeing children or just say any human so afraid. Everybody thought the same: 'That could have also happened with Chris' school.'

After hours of extinguishing the fire it looked like they did it. Eddie and Buck fell in each others armes. They clung to eachother and never wanted to let go. They where just happy, that it was over and nobody died. When the Cap announced, that he needed some help to tie up everything Buck and Eddie declared themselfes ready to help with it. The rest of them drove back to the station to prepare themselfes for the next fire service. (pls help me with better vocabs)

When everything, but one last room, was cleaned up Buck and Eddie told theire Captain to drive back to station, so he can prepare himself for the family dinner, he talked about while cleaning up. And after a short discussion Eddie and Buck were alone. The first thing they did, when they were shure, that Bobby couldn't hear them anymore, was kissing each other. They were so relieved, that everything worked out fine, that nothing but them counted at that moment. Buck tasted his boyfriend and felt save the first time, after the hours of extinguishing. Theire lips brushed against the others, longing for more and more. Eddies soft lips, where Bucks heaven. These angellike touching his harsh and dry lips, filling him out with love in a way nobody ever made him feel. He wanted more of that everyday, and he wanted everyone to see, how happy they are. After the first kiss Buck hadn't enouth. He wanted to feel Eddies lips on his, he wanted to feel, that his boyfriend is with him, that he'll never leav him. So he pulled Eddie closer to his waist again and kissed him with everything he had, hoping, that this moment never ends. His toung slipped into Eddies mouth trying to fill him with love and protection.
But the fate wasn't on their side. Out of nothing something in the room they hadn't cleaned up already, exploded and Eddie and Buck got thrown apart. Fire flickerd out of the room and it smelled like gas.
When Buck landed it made a loud noise, something that sounded like a 'clonk'. But he wasn't unconscious. Paniked he looked around his eyes searching for Eddie but couldn't find him. Buck felt his way down the floor, on his guard in front of the fire, wanting to find Eddie with fearful eyes, who was lying in a corner under a big wood box and couldn't move. Eddie screamed: "Buck!!!!Buck, help me!!!" The firefighter heard his boyfriend and crawled to the point he thought Eddie might lie.
And he was right. When he arrived at the big box he saw Eddie lying under it, lookingup to his boyfriend with tears in the eyes. Buck first analysed the situation and than started to lift the box from Eds leg. When this was done he helped Eddie to stand up. Afterwoards they walked out of the burning school. But when there were only a few meters left, the last few stairs, a burning bar fell from the celing and blocked their way. "Eddie we have to run outta here!", Buck shouted. But Eddie couldn't. His leg was brocken and Buck knew that. His look was determined. He liftet Eddie up and started to run. "Buck what...?" His survival instinct made him keep running. Under normal circumstands he would have collapsed after a few meters. But now he ran. He ran out of the building, praying to god, that the 118 will be there in a few secondes. He carried Eddie to the playground on the other side of the street and layed him down on the gras.
They were safe! They both couldn't really belive, what happened and they still felt the adrenalyn flowing threw their veins. Neigther of them wanted to let go off the other, so they sat there, holding eachother tighe and mumbeling "Everythings fine" over and over again. Like this, they waited for the firefighters to arrive.
