Dean- suave

inspired by License to Drive '88

Les was by the side of me looking at me with pure jealousy as i talk about last night's affair.

"I'm sure that's exactly what happened Dean."

He won't admit it but deep down i know he's jealous of me.

"Why can't you just admit you're jealous?" I ask, fed up with his facade, leaning on the handlebars of my bike.

He laughed, throwing his hair back so far it almost hit the road behind us. He was so stupid sometimes, he was stubborn too- couldn't admit his jealousy of the fact that I got more girls than he did.

"Me? Jealous? Of what exactly, the fact you have to beg a girl until she feels sorry for you to go out? Sorry man, not my style," he laughs through his words, finally settling his curious eyes on something in the distance.

"Trust me, Anderson, I can make any girl swoon for me. Just you watch buddy."

I was impatient, he wasn't looking at me meaning he didn't believe me.

What an ass.

His baby blues go wide with excitement, a menacing smirk plastered all over his face. He turns to me, balancing a god damn light bulb on his head.

"You say you can get any girl you want?"

I search his eyes, looking for the cruel pain he'll end up putting me through if I say yes but also the teasing if I say no. I begin to grow unsure.

"Yes."

"Over there."

I follow his confident finger to a girl across the street who I recognise as my new neighbour. She was lovely, a hot surprise when I got home from school one day. I sat on my bike and watched her unload boxes for about an hour. There was something about her man.

"No problem, I saw her looking at my ass yesterday. I can get some of that," I hold my sunglasses just above my eyes, tracing her tight jeans with my hungry eyes.

Les hits my shoulder, sending me off.

"Right buddy, with some cotton and chloroform even my dad could get some."

I start to ride away, sunglasses placed firmly on the bridge of my nose. I was cool, fucking cool. I was a stud, I can get any girl I wanted Les just you watch.

"That's rude and illegal!" I pointed back to him behind my shoulder, seeing him cross his arms in amusement.

"You look like a cop!" He yells with his hands around his mouth as if yelling was gonna make it any funnier.

"Whatever," I shake my head, handlebars swerving with it slightly.

What I thought was slightly turned out to be a lot as when I called for Y/N as I neared her on my bike, the wheel toppled sending me to the ground. I got up in hopes that nobody saw, an ugly smile plastered all over me to try and charm my way out of this.

Like bullies, both Les and Y/N at opposite ends of the street were laughing at me except her giggles were sweeter than Les' hyena caveman howling.

I laugh again, shaking my head before continuing.

"You alright?" She asks, leaning against her new fence.

"Mortified."

She laughs to herself.

"Nice. Karma's a bitch."

She walks away, leaving me determined and shell shocked.

---

The next few days, that stupid face was popping up everywhere in my life, even the places I didn't expect it. I found it sweet and charming at first but as soon as I found out I was just a joke, a bet, a chance to take I was so out of the equation.

I decided he couldn't have me even if he was Tom Cruise himself.

Amber and I were sitting comfortably in a booth at Archie's, guiltlessly scoffing down our burgers like there was no tomorrow. I didn't think I'd have many friends here but Amber and I just seemed to click. We liked the same movies, bonded over the same guys and we even had the same order at the diner. It was a nice casual coincidental friendship.

And then he had to come along and ruin it,

"Hey baby, how about a free burger and a kiss on the house?"

He practically ran over here, shoes squeaking along the wax making me wince even more. Amber smirks over to the both of us, knowingly keeping silent but having a very noisy face and mind.

"You don't work here Dean."

I chew down more of my burger not even noticing the way his dress pants cinch his waist or how his hair constantly changed colour with the lighting.

"Anything is possible with my sexiness," he admits as if he's telling the court, leaning down by my side.

He plays with my hair and I freak out a little as soon as I figure out that I'm enjoying it more than I think i should.

"Geez Louise Dean, what's your damage? I'm already full, thanks though."

We clear the table, leaving cash on the table and having Amber poke my arm and my side while squealing the entire way home.

---

I glare at the pavement as I slumped home.

I say pavement but it was mainly just a river.

I missed the bus on the way back and with no car, working parents and no siblings I had to walk home in the pouring rain clutching a soon-to-be ruined essay that took me a long while to write.

I knew that even if I told my history teacher the god's honest truth, she would laugh in my face and probably kick me to detention herself. Life is strange.

The cars that drove past were so frustrating, I could hear them laughing at me. Unfortunately, I didn't recognise any of the faces looking me strange through the windows until a purring engine crept past.

I didn't realise how close the road was until I saw Dean's sparkling face.

"Hey darlin', how 'bout a ride?"

His arm was extended over the passenger seat and I knew that was where it would stay for the entire journey.

"Wow is that car driving itself?" I look around in fake shock, anywhere that is but in his direction.

He laughs continuing to drive freakishly slow until cars started to pile up and honk behind him. Angry businessmen were making me feel guilty for even being born, putting me off driving for the rest of my life.

"That's very funny but I am not going any faster until you get in. These office guys can wait, I'll park in front of you if I have to," his tone is joking but i could see in his eyes he was dead serious.

If I didn't get in, the people in the cars behind him would be having breakfast for dinner and lunch for breakfast.

"Open the door."

--

"Hello there everyone, it is a very rainy day right now folks so grab your boots, coat and umbrella and leave the kids at home because a storm is a-brewing! Here's a song from The Beatles just to get you feeling good."

The radio was on and Dean was being awkward.

As soon as I got in the car, is ign ed my death sentence but I realised he hasn't even looked at me once or even breathed in my direction. I could see the sweat begin to gather on his forehead and I kept in my little square, assessing the damage of my essay.

It was okay.

"I have a t-t-towel if you want it."

His nervous voice came out of nowhere, making me jump in the leather seats. His care was very nice and I couldn't help but nose around it like a kid. But, I needed him to make something clear.

I look at him in confusion.

"Oh, I had Gym today but I ditched."

I nod.

"Thanks," I whisper.

As I dry my hair with the towel, it's loud and I cringe trying to do it as quiet as possible. It was so quiet in that car despite the radio playing and the fact that two fully functioning human beings were sat inside of it. It surprised me.

And, it was like that until we reached his garage.

"So," he sighs, turning off the engine, sucking out more of the noise.

The radio continues to play.

I turn to face him, one knee up on the seat.

"Where were all your moves? I thought I'd have to swat you away like a mosquito..."

Why did I seem disappointed?

"That really hurts my feelings. I'm not feeling it today. Just figured I should face reality by this point," he looks at his lap, legs pressed together like a hooker in church.

"What do you mean?" I rest my arm behind my chair, tilting my head to asses this kid.

Slow jazz interrupted our thoughts, it was smooth, sexy. I began to grow a little cautious of the situation.

"Y/N a girl as beautiful, smart, sexy, kind and so damn charming could never even look at a guy like me and- well, I'm at peace with that now. Providing only that you don't go out with Les he's an asshole who told me to use you to prove a point."

I chuckle but he was serious. He ends up laughing too.

It was either his kind words or the music but I was starting to melt into his seats. I began to grow very aware of my every part, where it was, the fact that I didn't know where to put them.  What do I do with my arms?

"Well, what if I said that you're not as- out of my league as you think?"

I couldn't stop myself.

He lifted his head, side-eyeing me slightly with his dark pupils.

"Really?"

It was too late now.

"You tick some boxes..."

We faced each other, not really knowing what this moment was but we just knew or certainly I knew that I had to kiss him or I'd be forever regretting it. So I'm thinking, I don't realise that I'm almost at that moment until I could feel his breath tickle my lips and his thoughts scream into my ears.

And then it happened.

My hands clutched his locks, tugging like someone was trying to pull me away from this pure bliss. He was surprised at my actions, releasing a couple of groans of satisfaction. I kept going, jumping at the slightest noises.

Dean unbuckled his belt, climbing over to my seat and reclining it. It was fast, it was sudden but oh was it smooth. I was melting just for him, something I promised myself I wouldn't do. I didn't care at that moment, all I could care about was his strong hands worshipping every curve of my body. One even disappeared at my point, driving me into bliss but i was too whipped to figure out where it was.

Steam starts to spray the windows, legs here wider, hips were faster and the music turned into a faster rock song. The song itself drove my head into the headrest with my eyes closed. At that moment we were now forcefully making ou tin his car with him in between my trembling thighs. He kissed my kneck, who was I kidding, he kissed me everywhere, growling next to my ear.

"Was this all a move?"

"Oh definitely," he responds, sending us both into laughter

The kissing continues in a joking way, playful until the garage door opens revealing a rather shocked looking blonde blocking the light. We glance at him guiltily, Dean even more than me.

But suddenly I grow cocky waving to Les before unbuttoning my blouse in Dean's sight, straddling his waist in the car.

Dean shrugs to Les before waving him off.

Minus one potential friend, plus one sensational guy.
