"Chris! Chris!" Vern yelled as he climbed up the treehouse where Teddy, Gordie and Chris were.

"What is it Vern?" Chris asked as he put a cigarette in his mouth, ready to light it.

"I was in town and heard y/n talking to her friend and..." Vern said, stopping to catch his breath from running.

"Well spit it out Vern" Chris said wanting to know what his crush said.

"She said that she thought you were really cute and just wished you'd ask her on a date already" Vern said still panting a little. Chris couldn't believe what he heard. He slowly took his cigarette out of his mouth and looked away from Vern.

"Well what are you waiting for Chris? Go get you some" Teddy said with his own cigarette in hand.

"Shut it Teddy. I can't just walk up to her, I have to think of something to say" Chris replied while deeply thinking.

"Gordie! You have to help me" Chris said now a little worried of what to say.

"Just tell her how you feel, Chris. She absolutely feels the same" Gordie said reassuring Chris. Chris looked down thinking before looking up with an idea.

"You're right. I'm going to go right now" Chris said putting his cigarette down and standing up.

"Yeah, Chris! You got this!" Teddy said clapping.

"We believe in you" Vern said.

"Thanks guys" Chris said before heading down the treehouse and on his way to find you.
