The next thing everyone knew they woke up laying on the grass. The church was burned down and mikasa was gone without a trace. Everyone turned to each other wondering if their wish really came true and what should they do now. Everyone did think about going after mikasa but they all knew they never find her until she wanted to be found. 

After half n hour they all got and decided to start walking back. They chatted and laughed about how it was all over now and they all be normal humans in their next life. They promised to meet up once a year ever year until they die. They made Connie bakery into the meeting place so they could eat his bread every year. 

They walked down the path and waved to rinner and barthold who just smiled as they let them pass. 

They soon reached Connie town and noticed all the soldier marching out. They were able to stop one soldier who told them they were given orders to leave. The town people cheered and smiled making Connie smile to see them no longer scared to leave their homes. The town started opening old shops or fixing homes up again and Connie knew they be a cheerful town from now on. 

"papa" Sarah yelled with a huge grin and ran over to him. "welcome home" Sasha said with a bight smile as she turned to her husband with carl in her arms. "I'm home" Connie smiled and picked up his daughter to hug her before kissing his wife cheek.  

"until next year our friend" farlan said with a kind smile and Connie turned round. "dont you want to stay for a meal, we must thank you all" Sasha said with a smile. "it was your husband who wished for your town not us, no need to thank us" Eren said with a huge grin. "make sure you have fresh bread waiting for us on this day next year" Jean smirked. "i have the best bread waiting for you all, so dont be a stranger" Connie smiled. "until then" Armin smiled and everyone started walking as Connie and his family waved at them. "a year to find her" Levi smiled to himself as they walked. 

They walked up the huge hill and slept many nights in the dark woods. Weeks past before they reached a nice little farm with two smiling children waving at them. "daddy" matt smiled and ran over to his dad who picked him up. "i missed you so much" Marco smiled and spin his son round. "I'm glad your both got back safe and i guess these things are for you" the lady from the whore house smiled as she passed christa with a letter over to Marco and a letter to jean. "no way, its ownership of a small pub, i got my pub" Jean said excited. "hello pretty lady can dada have his letter" Marco smiled and his one year old daughter let go of the letter. "was your wish accepted" jean asked with a smile. "yeah i have ownership of the farm, even when i die the kids can keep living on the farm or sell themselves" Marco smiled and hugged his daughter. "oh and I'm sorry but she told me to pass this to you" the lady said with a frown as she passed the last letter ymir write before her death. "thank you, i give you the money for her funeral later" Marco said with a small smile since he didnt want to cry in front of his children.

"oh no need, your lady friend already paid this morning" the lady smiled. "wait mikasa came this way" Jean said shocked. "oh yes she came to pay the rest of your wife funeral bill this morning since she already paid half when they took you away" the lady smiled. "do you know what way she was heading" Levi asked with hope. "i think the two where you kind boys came from" the lady smiled. "but why would she leave before us if we going the same way" eren said puzzled. "she going back to where she from, dont forget she was only in our town because she was running from the boss men" Armin sighed.

"we could still catch her in time, i could still stop her" Levi said with a hopeful smile. "then get going, dont worry about saying goodbye here and go get her" Marco giggled. "thank you" Levi smiled and started running. "i hope he makes it, make sure those two meet us next year at the bakery" Jean smiled and the other three nodded. "dont do anything crazy while we no longer watching over you" Eren grinned. "we see you in a year and let you know if our wish came true" Armin giggled as they started walking. "you get to find out if he made it in time" Farlan smiled and jean along with Marco waved them goodbye. 

Levi ran and back down the road they took, he ran without stopping hoping he see a glimpse of her soon. He had to see her and he had to make her stay. He dont care if she killed, he doesn't care if she the number one wanted. He only cares if she promise to never leave his side. 

He reached his town and he jumped on the roof, he knew it be the only way to see her if she was still their. He ran to the place he first met her but nothing. He called her name, he begged for her to come back but nothing. He ran around the town again and again hoping to catch her but nothing. 

Two weeks past and he found no clues about mikasa. He even tried the next town but no one saw a girl like mikasa. He returned home and would sit on his roof waiting for her to pop out.

"farlan" Armin said with a bright smile as he ran out of his own book shop he owned thanks to his wish. "hey, how the shop going" farlan asked with a smile. "great, i get tons of customers during people lunch breaks or in the evening, what about your wedding" Armin asked with a huge grin. "well thanks to all the money from my wish, we should be getting married next month" Farlan smiled and blushed. "oh captain farlan, didnt think to find you at a book shop" eren grinned as he returned from his job. "just farlan is fine, I'm still not use to my proportion yet, if i knew i was gonna get one then i wouldn't have wished for money for the wedding" Farlan laughed. "well congrats still, the guys at work talk all about captain farlan and captain Levi" eren grinned, he became a guard in a small pub thanks to his wish. "yeah i bet, Levi was famous in town before we left but since they made him captain the ladies have gone wild" Farlan laughed. "i bet" Armin giggled. 

"how has Levi been" eren asked with worry since they didnt really meet after reaching the town and would only chat if they bump into each other. "he still waits on his roof every lunch break we get and he sit on his roof at night for an hour" Farlan said with a small smile. "well i guess once your heart stolen all you can do is wait for it to return" Armin said with a small smile. "yeah but i wished we were able to find a little clue involving mikasa, even rumours about the bloody devil has gone dead like she just disappear" farlan said with worry. "well I'm sure she return once again" eren smiled. "yeah she return, we a family" Armin smiled and the three said their goodbyes since farlan was still on patrol duty. 

LATER THAT NIGHT.

"can i help you" Levi asked as he opened his door after hearing a knock. "do you know how hard it was to find you" mikio sighed. "your mikasa brother but why are you here" Levi asked shocked. "well mikio died by mikasa blue flames many years ago and i pretty sure mikasa was killed by monster hunters that night as well, so here" mikio smiled and passed something wrapped in cloth to Levi. "you killed someone" Levi said lifting an eyebrow. "nope i saved a certain someone before she was burned by her flames, treat her well for me" Mikio smiled and started walking away as Levi quickly unwrapped the body. "mikasa" Levi said with a small smile and tears fell. 

"Levi" mikasa smiled and placed a hand on his cheek. "why didnt you stay" Levi cried and placed his hand on top of hers. "i still had work to do" mikasa smiled and wipe some of Levi tears. "well are you free now" Levi asked with a small smile and mikasa nodded. 

"make me a promise" Levi begged shocking mikasa. "a promise" mikasa asked and Levi smiled. "promise to never leave my side" Levi asked with a smile and looked into her pretty eyes. "only if you promise to love a cold monster like me forever" Mikasa smiled. "you idiot i already loved you since the first moment i saw you" Levi smiled and kissed mikasa.

"gross" a small kid with brown hair and bright green eyes yelled. "i think it was a sweet story, they got to be happy" a small blonde boy said with a bright smile. "you would like love stories" a kid with a horse face said as he rolled his eyes. "how could you not like such a loving story but its sad about the farmer wife" a boy with brown hair and freckles said with a small smile. "i want to try the farmer bread, it sounded so good" a bald kid said with drool. "did this story really happen" a taller kid with blonde hair asked with a kind smile. "well some say its just a child story but some believe it happened and i like to think these eight hero's helped bring the world to peace without many knowing" the teacher said with a kind smile. "this is stupid, eight people cant save the world by themselves" a boy with raven hair and cold eyes hissed with his arms crossed. "your stupid, they didnt do it alone they had help along the way and had people giving them hope" a girl with raven hair and cold eyes sighed and rolled her eyes. "well everyone can believe what they want and just remember every story must come from somewhere" the teacher smiled and stood up. 

"now Farlan, eren, Armin, jean, Marco, Connie, Levi and mikasa lets go play outside the other class should have done their test by now" the teacher smiled brightly. 

"it has to be fake, the teacher used our own names" Jean sighed as he got his coat. "yeah but this story happened along time ago maybe the true hero names have been forgotten so she just used ours" Marco said with a kind smile. "who cares if its true or not I'm Hungary now" Connie whined like a child. "your always Hungary" Eren grinned making the other laugh. "be nice we be playing with the other class" Armin smiled brightly. 

"love is so stupid, how can people fall in love so easy" Mikasa pouted as she sat in her corner seat. "tell me about, people who fall in love are fools" Levi said with a frown as he sat in his seat next to mikasa. "hey are you two coming or not" Farlan yelled by the door making the two run over hand in hand.
