Happiness is more than just smiling around and it is sometimes, like lighting in the darkest places that would shun to delight. It is more jovial when sadness quickly fades and the way you live the life of your own. Anyway, I want to talk about that there are so many people in our lives that we cannot imagine. I might be a journalist but a small timer. I might be sad around only with something that might be relevant but what about the people around my new colony?

This is Nafiul Rehman Khan also known as Nafi. I used to work as a reporter of a famous newspaper company, focusing mainly on the editorial parts of the news than the real criminal news in the headings. Otherwise, boring boss always spoil my mood for being joyous and laughter.

I had a girlfriend, Tareefa. She always take me to the restaurants, taking gifts and so on. I might be blind from reality but this book changed my whole perspective of life. Back then, I was extremely naïve and deluded from the realism of the world because I was young. As to the contrast, the older you grow, the wiser, you become. Not only that, I also was extremely obsessed with only romantic couples that are now, very clichéd to me.

The only family I had was with my rich uncle, who was more of a father figure than an uncle. It reminded my life on the contrast to Gautama Buddha. He even told me the stories several times but despite the fact that I was interested on, I could not understand the meaning until now.

As a writer, character development and flaws are the greatest plot device to see the difference of the personalities between characters. But building a world over there is difficult. Unless you have an inspiration and if it does come to you by itself. This is how, my world is: whimsical but lively. Dark but as a film addict, Tim Burton-esque or you could say, gothic. Eight different characters in my story is more dark and delightful at the same time. Prepare to see the differences of the world but never underestimate the characters that I would like you to present. The title of the book is inspired by 'Six Characters In Search Of An Author' by the Italian playwright, Luigi Pirandello. The plot may not be similar but yes, the title itself is similar to my story. 

I think, we all have to witness the craziness that I will be telling you, readers. My life did change! It was a mystery and a satire that I also witnessed. This is my life and this is my story.
