Day One

Don't worry I am not going to start this fairy tale with 'Once upon a time' well not all of them do. I just want to tell a story about 7 princes and 1 commoner girl.

Long ago before we were born there were 7 princes that came from different kingdoms but were close like brothers. Even though they were prince they were more carefree and wanted the best for their soon-to-be kingdoms. The life of this commoner girl left a heavy impact on their hearts that they will never forget.

Prince Jin, the eldest always took care of his garden. You could say many people wanted to get married there. While he was tending to his garden this girl slipped into the garden without the guards knowing. Those guards weren't doing their job right anyways. That is what she has been doing all her life.

She walked around the garden admiring Prince Jin's effort on making it look wonderful. She saw Prince Jin carrying lilies so she secretly followed him. She could hear him humming a song and it sounded peaceful.

For some reason, she felt pain around her heart but that didn't stop her from following him. That is when she snuck up behind Prince Jin while he was putting a bunch of Lilies in the excellent soil. She squatted next to him which frightened him when he turned to the side. She waved at him with a small grin.

The reason why he was frightened is that her skin was pale, she had long black hair, dark big eyes, and was wearing a simple white dress not to mention she was barefoot. She was an ideal character for a ghost seeking revenge.

"Sorry, I didn't see you there but who are you and how did you get in here?" He asked but she didn't say anything. She just smiled at him. Prince Jin was waiting for an answer but soon understood that he wasn't getting one, He sighed.

"You must like flowers to be in here," He said while covering the roots with some soil getting in his gloves. Then he took them off and placed them aside.

"You know Lilies to be specific, white lilies, are my favorite type of flowers because I think they are prettier than roses. Their color means a lot of things but mostly because  they are pure." Even though Prince Jin didn't know the girl he felt like she was his best friend. Prince Jin plucked one of the lilies and placed it in her hair.

"There, you look very beautiful with lilies, but you're more beautiful." Prince Jin gave her a warm smile. Her next action made his brain switch off for a while. Her lips on his, it was obvious that she was his love at first sight.

He closed his eyes but when he opened them she was gone, nowhere to be found. As he looks at the Lilies it reminded them of her. He didn't get her name but that didn't matter to him. He grabbed his favorite pink antique vase and put those exact Lilies in them. He took it to his room and put it by his window humming the sweet song that he hummed before their encounter.
