7 Minutes In Heaven! (Naruto Style) -Jugo
Silently, you trailed behind Suigetsu in to the house of Naruto, a friend of Sasuke's, you'd been told. You'd never seen him before, but you knew you'd recognise him the second you caught sight of his famous yellow hair and distinct whisker-like marks on his cheeks. He was the famous 9-tailed jinchuriki, wanted by many, but not by Sasuke.
Sasuke didn't talk much about where he came from, but it wasn't hard to find out and you knew he used to be really good friends with Naruto and another girl. Then, he left, and now he's with you guys: yourself, Karin, Jugo and Suigetsu. He only came to the party to try to stop Naruto from searching for him for a little while, he was ruining our plans. He agreed, and so here we were. At this party.
"We're playing 7 minutes in heaven, so sit down!" A pink haired girl called out from the front of the living room we were all gathered in. She glanced at Sasuke a little longer than was normal, and she blushed a little. Maybe she had a crush on him, like Karin. She wouldn't be happy if she found out.
"What is that?" You whispered to Suigetsu. The game was unfamiliar to you.
"How don't you know?" Karin leaned forward on the other side of Suigetsu, closest to Sasuke. Her glasses glinting in the light and light smirk on her face made her look scarier than usual. "You go in to the closet after picking a card, or an object, or number or whatever, and you kiss whoever you end up in there with."
You looked around the room, taking in all the unfamiliar faces of people you'd never seen before and would probably never seen again. They looked friendly enough, but how would it benefit you to kiss them? Essentially, you were the enemy. Why would they want to to kiss you? You huffed. Again, you were overthinking simple situations! This was a kids game. You could do this! You've killed people, ruined lives, destroyed villages, a kiss will be no problem; you can forget about it like everything else.
"Thinking hard again?" Jugo questioned, looking a little nervous himself. A small bead of sweat snaked it's way down the side of his face. He smiled at you like butter wouldn't melt, behind that smile was a man who couldn't be stopped and in a sense, he had every right to be nervous.
You nodded, "I don't know these people," you began. You were supposed to have the intel, to be able to report back to your group, to give yourselves the upper hand in a battle. Here, you were clueless. Possibly, even useless. If that was the case, Sasuke could just cast you aside.
"Not as bad as flipping out in the closet with a stranger and killing maybe half the people here, though." Jugo smiled,"or all of them... depending on if I was stopped." He added so quietly barely heard it.
You smiled back. He was joking, but it was true. If Sasuke isn't there, he could lose control and probably kill everyone here! Whoever entered the closet with him would have to be able to put up a fight if that did happen. Aside from that, he was just... a soft, caring guy.
"Here, choose a card," the nine tails held the ugly black hat just under your nose and you could just smell whatever bacteria it was that was manifesting on it. Where had that been? How old was it?
When taking out a card, you made sure to touch the hat as little as possible and just took the card on top. It was orange card with a black question mark on it.
The pink haired girl, whose name you still couldn't remember led you in to the closet after covering your eyes with a blindfold. She was very pretty though, even with her incredibly large forehead!
The door closed, opened and then closed again, and you sat almost frozen on a cardboard box at the back. God, thoughts were just whizzing around your head about who you could've ended up with in the closet. Your heart was doing more than racing, it was doing a whole pentathlon in there!
"_____, you seem nervous, are you okay?"
That was Jugo, you knew that voice. You'd know him for years and you'd recognise his voice in a sea of thousands of others.
"No," you breathed out. You had to kiss Jugo! The thought of ending up with one of the guys from your own group hadn't even crossed your mind.
"You don't have to be scared. I wouldn't hurt you, you know that."
His footsteps became louder as he approached you after a clicking sound.
A warm hand was placed on your cheek and you immediately became aware of how close the two of you were, even though you still couldn't see. Jugo was right in front of you, probably smiling at you.
You saw an orange flash and your eyes automatically shut. A reflex to allow them to adjust to the light now the blind fold was off. When you finally peeled open your eyes, Jugo was crouching in front of you. The, smile, which you expected, was there. He was so gentle, you knew if it was up to him, he wouldn't hurt a fly... unless the fly deserved it. Or unless the fly was Suigetsu, who recently had been trying to see if anything triggered Jugo.
"_____?" Jugo clicked a couple of times in front of you, breaking you out of your train of thought.
You apologised sheepishly, he didn't seem to mind. He knew this wasn't uncommon with you.
"I couldn't ever hurt you, so you don't need to be scared of me in here. Just seeing you can calm me."
"Are you proposing?" You blurted out, worrying about where he was going with this sudden confession.
"Of a sort," he flashed you a small smile again, before leaning in to place a gently kiss on your forehead.
It took you by surprise of course. A kiss so gentle it felt like it wouldn't even cause water to ripple.
"Do you think you could be my girlfriend, ____? I love you," he said calmly.
"I could. I love you too, Jugo."
He kissed you again, but this time on your lips, and instead of overanalysing the situation, your mind was clear. It felt great to think of nothing and still be happy.
"You're beautiful, and I see beauty in you. It's not only Sasuke I'd give up my life for, but you too."
You saw beauty in him too, even in his fits of uncontrollable rage, even when he's covered in blood as a result of destruction, and when he's sat peacefully, a bird perched on his finger and eating out of his hand after feeding Jugo with information.
Your foreheads rested against each other's, both of you just sat there glad to be in one another's presence. Coming here and playing this game wasn't terrible, like you feared.
The door flew open and Suigetsu hovered at the closet's entrance, a smug expression on his face, it fell when his eyes landed on you and Jugo so intimately close. He leaned on the doorframe, unimpressed after trying to startle Jugo to see if he'd flip out.
"So Scales stayed balanced huh?"
Jugo rolled his eyes and ignored Suigetsu. He followed you out of the closet, silently, back to your seats. He couldn't take his eyes off you, every time you'd glance over, he'd hold you close, or take your hand in his.
Outside, everyone looked nervous. Suigetsu probably didn't keep his mouth shut and told everyone about Jugo and his bipolar disorder. He couldn't hurt anyone right now, not unless Sasuke asked, or if he left- I guess you could order him too, if needed.
Sasuke wasn't impressed, but he wasn't against it. He just warned Jugo to keep his priorities in check. Maybe your needs would come second to Sasuke's, but Jugo didn't love him, he loved you and that's all that mattered.

A/N: Wow! How long has it been since I added to this collection? Years? I think so. Here's a character (surprisingly)no one asked for. I was thinking about him for no particular reason and I had the urge to add him, and so I did.
