Claps echoed in the auditorium while a few cameras focused on catching Jimin's priceless reaction for their long history.

The rockie girl group delivered their words of appreciation towards their supporters, whom they call as their diadems/crowns, for giving them the opportunity to stand in the stage holding their first ever award.

The leader of the group spoke on behalf of them while others had pretty smiles on.
Aria, the main vocalist and dancer wrapped it up with her words next.

Following another award presentation, it was QUIN's performance. They danced to one of the songs of the Korea's most renowned and golden group, BTS.

Since they were the new arrivals, they were to perform their senior's songs along with the most loved song from their mini album. They had yet a lot to climb on the success ladder until they could proudly perform solely their own songs in award ceremonies.

Cameras were again at stealing Jimin's reactions to them performing to BTS's songs making it a big deal.

Taehyung noticed Jimin being uncomfortable with the cameras as he was conscious about them.

He nudged his arm and tried to cheer him up by dancing funnily to the choreo that they were doing on stage.

Jimin laughed and hit Taehyung playfully to stop the latter from embarrassing him.

Right after the performance, for the first time, Jimin had to present an award to the winning Actor.

MC : Please welcome, Suho from EXO and Jimin from BTS to present the award for us.

They entered with smiles through claps, Suho holding the envelop containing the winner's name.

Suho, too absorbed looking at the actor's name, was troubled finding the mic stand. Jimin, with a chuckle, helped him out and pointed it at him.

SUHO : (-glances at Jimin with a smile-) Thanks, Jimin.

The whole moment was funnier than it seemed. Suho was actually nervous presenting an award filling the entire ground in giggles. Jimin was laughing with his back facing the audience at the recollection of Suho struggling to get hold of the mic.

He controlled himself and stood beside Suho turning around so the latter could announce the name finally.

SUHO : The winner of 'Best cameo appearance male' goes to "Lee Song Gi" in the recent drama "The Decent Boss."

Jimin, for a moment, felt himself overthinking but with the male coming towards them, he recognized him.
He was Aria's cousin who used to take dance lessons with them.

Though his face made Jimin reminisce all those times with Aria from the very first day they met, yet he succeeded to keep a smiling face while he handed over the award to him.

Suho next, presented the flower bouquet saying the mic was all to him so he could share his words of acceptance.

After Jimin and Suho's work was done, they slowly proceeded towards the backstage where they parted ways.

Jimin, on his way back, saw Aria having snacks with her fellow bandmates.

He, without showing a bother, kept walking his way when Aria saw and came after him.

After that date night, neither of them contacted each other. They didn't even keep in touch as friends or just as Senior-Junior.

What Jimin didn't know was that Aria was threatened with her contract by her agency. She was forced to either break up with him or with her career.

She was in a do or die situation but chose her career over love, that much of a passion she had.

Great things need great sacrifices too. She had to sacrifice him. "Was I selfish choosing my career over you?" She would often find herself wonder.

ARIA : Oppa!

Jimin turned, looked around the chaos, caught her wrist and took her to the nearest empty dressing room.

He went in letting go of her hand and stood facing his back to her. However, she could clearly see his face in the mirror as she walked in with slow steps.

ARIA : Opp-

JM : Don't call me that. (-turing to face her-) I am only a senior to you now. Learn to respect your seniors.

ARIA : (-looking down-) I am sorry.

JM : (-changing the topic-) Anyways, Congratulations on your rockie award.

ARIA : Thank you...

JM : What else you got?

He referred to the reason she called him earlier.

Aria couldn't bring herself to speak seeing this side of his. It wasn't her fault and Jimin knew it well yet he was helplessly cold towards her.

JM : I am leaving if you don't have anything to say. (-about to walk away-)

ARIA : I just...

He stopped and looked back at her who had her head hung low, not able to met his cold eyes.

ARIA : I just, want to say. I am sorry, I am sorry for hurting you. (-eyes forming tears-)

JM : Look into my eyes.

Aria hesitantly looked up into his eyes sensing the dominance in his tone.

JM : Do they say, I am hurting?

Aria couldn't contain but end up in tears seeing him that close after so long. Before she realized, she was already hugging him resting her face on his chest.

However, Jimin showed no effect to her tears or her hug. He just stoned himself and stood there with his hands tucked in his pant pockets.

ARIA : I am sorry... (-crying-) Please, forgive me, Oppa. (-unclear words-) Breaking up with you wasn't easy for me too. Please, don't be like this. Can't we be like before?

By that she meant, the friendly relationship between the senior artists with their juniors, common in K-pop culture.

JM : (-heavy voice-) You sold us, Aria-ssi. (-intentionally being formal-) Nothing can be like before between us.

He unwrapped her arms from him with the coldest look he could give.

Aria sniffed and sniffed making a pleading face— Jimin's harsh words hurting her more.

He was about to leave but he wanted to say the following before he did and leaned forward to her ear.

JM : (-soft and painful voice-) And, don't ever cry in front of me... (-seconds later-) 'cause I no longer have the right to wipe away your tears.

He started walking away before he ended up in tears himself. Aria still had her hand firmly holding his.

ARIA : Please...

JM : (-in a heavy voice-) Let go.

She realized that she had no strength to stop him anymore. With their hands frictionlessly sliding off each other, she knew that she lost him forever.

He froze in his position for a few mili seconds feeling his heart slow up a beat at their skins getting out of touch.

A warm tear, rolling down against his cold cheeks, led his legs towards the exit.
With the door's slam, Aria broke in a hard sob and sat on the floor crying her heart out.

Meanwhile, Jimin couldn't stop his tears escape his eyes coming out of the room. He wiped them nonchalantly as he walked away without stopping or looking back.
