Day 6: Saturday

Izaya failed to notice before but Rumi was frequently coughing when they're together, she had a disease after all. He wanted to talk about it with Rumi, but he just didn't pushed further, knowing that she didn't knew about her illness.

They were together right now, having a date at the amusement park that was crowded in weekends. "Izaya~! hurry up, I wanna ride the roller coster!" he was taken back, against it. "isn't that dangerous, I mean for your hea—" he was cut off when he felt something tugging his pants, he looked down as his eyes widened.

"AAAAGHH!" he yelled as he hurriedly ran at Rumi's back, the reason why he was terrified because of the dog that went out of nowhere.

"Aww, how cute, are you lost?" she crouched down and patted the dog's head, making Izaya gasped. "What're you doing? Let go of that dog! He's going to bite you!"

"He won't, after all... he's a good boy." Rumi giggled as the dog nuzzled at her. It made Izaya horrified. "are you afraid of dogs, Izaya?" she asked.

"No! Why am I supposed to be afraid in such inferior bei—AGHH!" he backed away as the dog started to walk up towards him. "you're words say otherwise, actions speaks louder than words, Izaya~" she chimed.

"Oh my, Paparazzi! There you are!" they turned to a female adult rushing up to them. "is this your dog, mam?" the female nodded as she thanked them and took the dog away with her.

"So that dog's name is Paparazzi, huh? What a weird name." she giggled. "finally, that dog is out of sight... what an eyesore." Izaya huffed.

'So Izaya's weakness is dogs, huh?' she thought, then afterwards they started roaming around the place.

They were at the top of the ferris wheel, the whole view of the place can be seen in their windows. "hey Izaya, I have something I want to tell you."

His attention was still at the view in front of them while his chin was resting on his palm. "Hmm?"

"Let's not see each other anymore."

Izaya's eyes widened from what she just said, he turned to her. "w-what?"

"I'm saying that we should end this relationship already." she said. "but, it's not even seventh day yet!" he said.

"I don't have much time anymore." she answered as she turned her head to the windows. "Rumi-chan..."

"Thank you for giving me a chance in being your girlfriend. Our time was short but, I had really fun..." she said.

He didn't said a word as he continued listening to her, "i was really thankful of you when you saved me by the thugs before... it happened before I became your girlfriend... guess you don't remember, huh?" she giggled lightly while scratching her cheek.

"Ever since that day, I always caught myself looking at you... that's when I realised that I fell in love with you, I didn't have the courage to talk to you so I kept these feelings bottled up."

She coughed and then continued talking, "i knew that I had an Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease, I coincidently heard it from my parent's conversation with the doctor... I knew that I had a little time left, so I decided to do everything I want... I even asked you six days ago to be my boyfriend, I was just... so in love with you." she said as her cheeks became red, she decided to tell her feelings on top of the ferris wheel.

"I was really happy when you agreed, spending time with you was really fun, I wished that things will be like this forever... but, I'm going to..." she didn't continued as Izaya knew what she meant by that.

"That's why, let me tell you these few words, listen to them okay?" he nodded as his cheeks was flushed.

"I'm really glad that it was you who I fell in love with..." she started.

"Thank you for agreeing to become my boyfriend for seven days, I'm also sorry for bothering you." she added.

In the corner of Izaya's eyes, their ride was almost finished, he felt his pulse accelerate because of her.

"And after this.... please don't go after me anymore." she finished.
