As a member I found 7 cups of tea quite helpful.. Occasionally I had difficult chats with listeners who didn't get it..

And some of them were judgey but at the end of the day I thank god that there is a rating and comments system.

Because at the end of the chat you rate how many stars you think the listener has helped you.. And you comment also which is on their page anonymously.

What's annoying is that as a listener you don't know which members commented which comment and therefore you can't contact them unless they contact you after you delete and end the chat..

So it's a waiting game until they contact you again or whether they ask for a random listener instead.

One of the new things is where you can start a simple exercise instead of connecting to a listener.

The exercise is simple where you can answer questions like these:

You can browse listeners with the problem that you have and they match you up with the best listener! Or you can take part in discussions and group chat with others in your position with other members and listeners.

As you can see there there's different chat rooms for different people and if you like what a person has said click the compassion heart but be warned you can only give ten Hearts a day!

Being a listener is very rewarding but you have to have the commitment for it.. Before you had to be on at set times and click your slot but now you can go on any time as long as you put in 3 hours a week and of course reply to your messages.

As you can see I've done pretty well! You can earn badges and rewards both as a listener and a member!!

You can search by category like panic attacks and sleeping well which is some of the category's either the person knows about or what they are trained in..

Or instead or putting in screen name.. You can search by availability of the people who's online!
