It is now the end of a school day and I was walking down the halls with Zoey, Lindy, and Diego. Diego left after a while. He was probably going to look for Austin.

I still had to go to Mrs. Willows class. Mrs. Willows is my science teacher and I must turn in some papers in for her class that counted as a major grade. At least I wasn't going alone. Zoey was going to go with me.

''Come on Zoey, we have to go,'' I said.

''Where are you two going?'' Lindy asked. It is now the third week of school and I managed to get attached to Lindy. She's a good friend of mine. She is in some of my classes.

''Well, I must turn in some papers to Mrs. Willows,'' I said.

"And I'm going to go with her,'' Zoey said.

''Oh, I'll go with you too. I must go to Lizbeth's locker to get my stuff anyways. I'll catch up with you guys and wait for you when you're done or if you are done first then come back to get me,'' Lindy said. She shares a locker with Lizbeth.

''Okay'', I said.

It is a good thing that the locker is in the end of the middle hall way that is close to the hallway I had to go through.

I turned in my papers and it took about 5 minutes because there were still students in Mrs. Willows class when Zoey and I got there.

We left and started towards the other side of the hallway. I felt like I was forgetting something important. As I was walking to the orchestra room with Zoe I noticed that my shoelaces were untied. I bent down to tie my shoelaces and then I remembered something. Zoey remembered the same time as I did.

''Lindy!'' Zoey screamed it. I had finished tying my shoelaces and we both looked at each other. Then we started running back to the hallway where we came from.

When we reached Lindy's locker we were out of breath. When we stopped running we tried to catch our breath.

When Zoey and I arrived Lindy still had the locker opened so she didn't saw us at first. When she closed the locker she finally noticed us and when she saw us she looked surprised at our facial expressions.

''What happened to you? It looks like you ran from somewhere.'' Lindy said.

''We did,'' I said.

''Oh?'' Lindy said.

Zoey and I didn't want to tell her that we forgot about her but we had to. At least she didn't get mad. She just laughed and started walking towards the orchestra room to get her violin.
