Jimin was the last member to enter BTS. He was scared – not only because he didn't know if he would be good enough for the group but also because he didn't know if he would be accepted as a bandmate since he was pretty much entering the group after everyone was already acquainted with each other. But to his surprise everyone was more than welcoming and it really calmed him down

Everyone was sweet, maybe a bit awkward in the beginning but that was normal when meeting someone new

When everything was calmer, Jin the oldest had pulled Jimin aside to sit down and talk. They talked about things in general before he asked Jimin to look out for the maknae of their group – Jungkook. Jimin was surprised when Jin suggested that but apparently Jungkook was also from Busan like him and was his brother's age so Jin thought they might get along the best. Obviously Jimin had no issues with it, in fact he was ecstatic that he had someone from his hometown here with him

Jungkook was shy, being the youngest in a group filled with strangers is never fun, especially in a country where even an hour makes a lot of difference when it comes to age and seniority

They bonded very quickly. Jungkook would often get home sick especially late at night after their dance practices and Jimin would often get in bed with him, cuddling him as he whispered comforting words into the younger's ears, the satori really helped calm him down and for that Jimin was proud, he felt useful

Jimin was constantly around Jungkook, not just because Jin asked him to but because he wanted to. He liked being around Jungkook the most - Jimin doesn't know if it's because Jungkook reminded him of his brother or because he is the most vulnerable in their group being the youngest. But then later Jimin came to realize that he didn't want Jungkook to be just his bandmate anymore, he wanted him for all Jungkook was, he wanted Jungkook to be his person and Jimin wanted to be his – the feeling when Jimin was around the younger was so much different than when he was with anyone else - he gave Jimin a sense of home, a sense of belonging and Jimin loved it

So, Jimin decided, even if it's as a joke, he would make Jungkook get used to the idea of them, maybe not now or anytime soon but somewhere down the line in the future, Jimin wanted Jungkook to think of them being together

So Jimin would constantly jump on Jungkook, hug him , try to kiss him and occasionally throw the words 'I want to date Jungkook' at every chance he got. He was hoping Jungkook would get the message but all it did was irritate him more. What was I thinking? He is still a teenager, who left home before even knowing what being in love is or what love really is all about. I shouldn't have pushed him around so much, for now, he literally hates me to the core due to my clinginess

"Stop being so clingy hyung" Jungkook had shouted at Jimin that day, having had enough of Jimin "I don't even see you as a brother or even a friend. So stop it" and he walked away with that
