Damn.
Damn that Damien. He is such an underdog. Why does he act like a boss. He broke the chain which will now trigger the eidolons.
It happened as predicted.
Mallory shook violently. Eidolon was starting to 'take over' her body. Normally they can possess a body for a short time but now when the exorcism was interrupted things were about to go haywire. Now Mallory soul's and that eidolon are one. Mallory has lost herself now.
I looked up, wiping the tear of my cheek. Everyone were already stepping away from Mallory. She was shaking violently, her eyes turning completely white.
"Harry, do something. For god sake. Do something." Flora shouted at the other side, clutching her green hairs.
Nothing can be done now. No one can control her, not even Mallory herself. Eidolons a blood-thirsty souls. Luckily only one of us is possessed but that one eidolon wouldn't take rest without killing everyone.
It happened years ago. When my father's uncle was between an exorcism with 7 others. Someone broke that chain. It was ten minutes until my grand-father arrived and he found everyone dead. Everyone was murdered ruthlessly. Their arms were uprooted from their bodies. Their eyes were blotted out of the sockets and were rolling freely in the room. Their blood was completely sucked out leaving them dry as a wooden log. Now same is going to happen to us.
Mallory stopped shaking. Her head went down. Her hairs were scrambled all over her face. She stood their like a statue. Completely still.
"Is the eidolon gone?"
"No. He won't go without killing us." As I completed my sentence. She raised up her head. Her eyes had turned completely golden. She hissed loudly and pulled out the riptide out of the sheath.
I got up on my feet and ran towards a pillar for cover.
She frantically scanned all over the hallway, counting the numbers she can enjoy killing.
Flora looked at me, expecting a plan but there is nothing I could do. It seemed there was only one possible way.
The possessed Mallory now started her attack. She ran with her riptide towards Leo. She was much stronger than before. After she is not herself now.
I was the only one who could control eidolons. Although I could try it once to control Mallory's mind before going the crook way.
"Cover me." I shouted. I turned back and sat on the ground expecting them to buy me some time. I closed my eyes trying to concentrate. I heard some toys clashing on the other side.
I tried to get into Mallory's mind. Nothing was seen at first. Slowly something appeared, it was a bit static.
Slowly a picture of a woman appeared.she wore a waitress gown. She had beautiful brown hairs, running down her back. She was slim and tall. She had dark green eyes with big eyelashes. Slowly I realised I was underwater bubbles escaping my nose. I noticed many gills at the side of the neck of that beautiful lady. She seemed more of a mermaid.
A man entered the doors, panting heavily. A merman. Muscular and tall. He had trimmed black hairs.He held the hand of the mermaid and started tugging her.
"They are attacking us. We have to run to a safe spot."
"Huh." The lady looked at him with wide eyes as he pulled her.
Suddenly a loud blast rang in my ears. Another blast.
The man gave me an eye contact. "Leave my thought. Forget about her."
What is going on. Many blast were ringing around till a huge ball fell on the fire, blasting it up.
Everything went black.
The merman appeared in my sight again. Black and white. "Leave her alone..." He was screaming in agony. "I won't leave her body....... She has to pay the price."
I opened my eyes. The scene was suffocating me. He really sucked up my powers. Thats what is really dangerous about eidolons.
"What happened." Flora asked. She was standing by my side holding out veins in an attacking pose. On my other hand stood Damien, defending me.
Straight in front of me. I saw Claudia was already knocked out, blood flowing out from her mouth. I hoped she was alive.
Mallory was taking on Leo. Strike After strike as she attacked Leo. Mallory's Riptide and Leo's Draco clashing against each other. Leo was barely able to defend himself. His blade flew of his hand as he fell on the ground. Mallory raised her Riptide over Leo. I could see Damien running to save Leo but he would never reach their.
Mallory bought down her blade over Leo's neck.
"Noooo." Leo shouted. It seems his last words.
Suddenly Mallory stopped her blade just over Leo's neck. She fumbled out some words before Damien tackled her down. Flora used her veils to get Leo away from Mallory. She made him land just behind us next to Claudia who was still knocked out.
I crawled towards him. "What did she say to you?" I asked.
He held his stomach. Groaning in pain. "She is still alive she was pleading me, asking me to save her."
"Have you made any plan?" Flora said, keeping an eye on Damien who was fighting Mallory.
"Yes." I sighed. "I have a plan but its really tough but now the only option open."
"What is it?" Leo asked still groaning in pain.
"We've got to kill her."
