I would possibly be crying right now. First I sucked in the race. Then I was the last one to be selected. I kinda felt like the seventh wheel, but this is the moment to prove my ability. Plus I was happy that I was in Flora's team.

Both teams took position five feet away, facing each other. Next to me stood Flora. She looked towards me and smiled. "I know you can do it. I selected you for a reason and the only reason is that I trust you."

Ahead of me stood people much stronger than me. Root a living mountain, Leo an enthusiast fire weaver and Claudia, a dangerous sound emitting human.

"Let's go." Damien shouted. More Fire burned inside me, I have to do better than Damien to prove myself. To prove Flora that she isn't wrong to trust me.

Damien dissolved in air while Mallory did the same in water.

I looked ahead and saw Root charging towards me with his humongous fist. Dang, the match just started and he is already targeting me.

I ducked down covering my head. Just as he was about to touch me Damien hoped in between and punched Root in the air. Its so cool to have super power of his kind, better than just a big brain. I felt like I was starting to admire him.

"Don't act like a coward." Said Damien.

I take back my words.

Focus. I couldn't focus. I took a few steps back and started analysing everyone. Flora was in a hand combat with Claudia.

Leo and Mallory were throwing fire and water at each other. While Damien was getting beaten up by Root.

This is it. I got a plan.

"Mallory." I shouted, while charging towards Root. I know it would be a crazy idea to take on Root but I had to prove myself. "Change opponents with Flora." I think I shouted that loudly so Flora could also hear.

Ahead of me stood a huge pillar named Root. I tackled his waist trying to buy some time for Damien. Magically Root's balance went off on my tackle." Damien take on Leo, send Flora on Root. Mallory trap Claudia in a water bubble, Damien try to blow are on Leo as fast as you can when he breaths fire." I tried to blurt out my whole plan until Root held me in one of his hands like a fly and punched a mile up in the air and punched me down in midair. I felt blood oozing from my mouth which was the last thing I remember before my vision faded away.
