Suddenly I felt a lot heavy. Oh wait those eidolons were jumping on me. I couldn't understand why my veils went right past through them the last thing I remembered was getting buried under them.

I couldn't feel them hustling me but some weird feeling was tickling my stomach.

I slowly opened my eyes. Bright light glowed in my eyes. I tried to cover my eyes with my hand but my hand wasn't moving. I shut my eyes tight trying to save my eyes from the red light. Something really didn't feel right. What about others? Did the eidolons kill us all?

I again tried to open my eyes. The red light still stung my eyes but somehow in a short time I managed to adopt my eyes to the red light.

I heard loud cheers as I opened my eyes. Ahead I could see the whole sky. Bright red sky. The sun.. Red sun was setting down the clearly visible horizon. It was the first time I saw a horizon and maybe the last. I was really high above the ground maybe some twenty feets. My eyes still didn't adjust with the light but I could feel something picking me at my heart. I looked down and noticed a long nail just touching my chest. It was a long and a thick nail but what was more shocking to see was the huge crowd of eidolons. Cheering. Shouting some slogan. They ranged many kilometres my eyes tried to trace them. They were everywhere till the horizon. Their twisted faces somewhat seemed cheerful now.
"They are going to kill us." I heard a sob. I looked to my right and noticed Claudia there. She was hanged in the same way with a long nail just touching her chest. The nail seemed to pinch her a bit as her black shirt was stained with a large patch of blood.

"Are you bleeding?" I asked.

She was already sobbing out loudly. "We have no escape." She said ignoring my question. I shuddered it away.

"Keep hope we will make out something." I tried to assure her but deep inside I felt the same.

I looked to my left. Damien was hanging on his cross there. His eyes were wide open. His mouth hanging down.
"Damien." I shouted. He snapped out of thought. His white shirt was completely in pieces. He really had a muscled body. One that could attract any girl. After the eidolon possessed Mallory. He is lost in his own world. He might be already under much guilt. All of it is happening due to him. He and Harry hadn't been going together since the last night in the hotel. I remembered the last thing he said before Mallory was possessed. He was saying that Harry is going to kill us all. He surely knows something about Harry. Something really dark. At the same time I remembered the moment when I was just about to kiss Harry. I was always confused about my emotions since the beginning. I didn't want someone to have special feeling for me. I would have been nothing but an extra burden for them. The worst thing I could imagine is someone being killed so that I could survive.

At that moment an instantaneous plan popped up in my mind." Damien you can dissolve in air right? So why don't you escape out and get Harry for help." I said.

"I tried it but the eidolons have sucked my power. They have sucked everyones." He replied.

He was right. I couldn't even form a small veil. We were completely powerless now

Damien's pekinese eyes were swollen up by tears. I could understand his feelings but right now is the time to improve that mistake. Thinking of Harry I remembered he is nowhere to be seen. And Leo too.

"Where are Leo and Harry?" I shouted so that everyone could hear me. Those eidolons roars were rising up slowly.

"I am here." I heard Leo's brisk voice from my back." But Harry is nowhere to be seen." He added.

Suddenly worry took over my feelings.

"Is Claudia alive?" Damien shouted from my side.

"Yes. I am alive." Claudia replied. On that question I remembered that Claudia was lethally attacked by the possessed Mallory. In Harry's thought I am completely forgetting about others or was I ignoring them.

The cheers of the eidolons suddenly amplified so loudly. It started to shake the ground. Amongst the huge crowd of eidolons appeared the wicked eidolon. No one of us could forget that face now . Was he still inside Mallory's body cause he didn't seem an eidolon, he had a complete human figure. He wore a Gladiator crown, two long horns rising from it. His skin had turned completely black and fish-like scales popping out his skin. Sharp fins stood on his rough arms.
Her sharp crooked teeth shinned in the light as he gave a creepy smile. He raised his hand motioning for silence. His long nails were still bathed in blood.

Silence.

"See how your beautiful and strong your friend is now." He said widening his hands around him.

"Leave her. You swine." Leo shouted from my back. "You are uglier than my shit. You bastard"

That eidolon gave an arrogant sigh nodding his head.

"Haha.. You say you are strong than why don't you fight with us directly without tying us high from the ground." I said tauntingly. "Oh, or wait are you scared that we will kick your butt. Look whose the scaredy cat with his so-many body guards."

I could see him grinning his teeth in anger.

"You pest. You don't know the pain of all the people out here. Do you?" He said screaming. "We all were killed in a day or I should say in a moment. You don't know the value of the girl's life."

What. A bounty on Mallory's head. "What do you mean by the value of girl's life?" I replied.

"Let me tell you the whole story from the beginning." He said relaxing a bit. "You see all the eidolons out here. We all belonged to the peaceful village of Atlanta. We lived our happy lives deep under the water. We kept away from all the human sorrows and human pain. We kept ourselves preserved. You know what, Human are scrap. They are envious. They tried to infiltrate Atlanta many times, but we secured it. They even negotiated with the head of the village on a plan to lift up Atlanta to the surface but we clearly refused his offer. After that the whole matter settled but one day, it was another peaceful morning when the water army attacked Atlanta and completely destroyed it." He said after letting out a sigh.

"What does it have to do with Mallory." I debated.

"It has. The man in-charge of the of the project plus the head commander of the water troop was her father." Everyone went dumb.

"How will harming Mallory profit you?" I asked.

"It will. Firstly it will bring peace to all the eidolons out here and secondly if we present this girl's soul to Mr.D he has promised to create Atlanta again where we brothers will live our lives again."

The silence turned out, when the eidolon's huge wave of cheer rose up again

"Do you really think Mr.D would not turn off his words?" I said trying to sound sarcastic. "He is evil he just thinks of his own profit. He may trap everyone's soul after his work is done."

"Don't say a word against our lord." He said raising his finger." Oh wait. You wont even have chance to speak anymore. Crucify them.!!" He ordered

"Yes sir." Four eidolons stood up with axes in their hands. They started cutting the bottom of our high crosses. I could feel the eidolons clearing the ground near us.

"Mr.D will be so happy when he gets your souls. It won't take much time for the eidolons to finish the other guy. He really was a tough deal."

Did he say about Harry. Was he still fighting out there? I felt a bit relaxed but right now I could see death a few seconds away from me. The axe-eidolons were cutting down the cross. I now realised the real cause of the nail as we fall on the ground, it will pierce us right in the heart.

I could hear sobbing sound from my sides. Claudia. Leo. Even Damien. There was no hope of escaping now
The cross started waving forward and backward. It could hear them hitting the wood with their axes and could feel the eidolons watching it witnessing a live crucification.

Last strike and my cross started falling ahead. I closed my eyes for the last time as I felt my chest bursting.
