Zoro's P.O.V.

It's been one and a half month...we celebrated Christmas and all and today it's New Years eve...since we're taking a break from college and stuff, we throw a lot of parties and we make a lot of money.

Tonight, we're going to have a lot of company. Since it's Ace's birthday tomorrow, his parents and grandfather will come to celebrate the New Year with us. Also Luffy's dad and grandad will be here with us. Sanji's grandfather will join us as well.

Sanji...he's acting so weird since that day at the bar...I tried to kiss him but he didn't seem to want that...damn if only that fucker hadn't came in...

I can't find a chance now...he's been avoiding me. What the hell is going on? I thought we were good...

I'm just sitting in my bedroom thinking about everything and...him...

I just want him...so fucking bad.

We're expecting our guests soon and that means that I have to wear something decent but not formal because we're in our house.

I just grabbed a nice dark green sweater with black jeans and put them on.

After I got ready, I went downstairs.
Everybody was there. Sabo, Ace, Luffy and Law were sitting in the living room and I spotted Sanji in the kitchen, cooking the New Year's meal. I decided to go check up on him.

"Hey, cook" I greeted him and he turned his head to see me.

"Hey" He said and turned back around at what he was doing.

I walked closer and stood next to him, leaning against the counter. He avoided looking at me and that's killing me.

"Whatcha cooking?" I asked.

"Turkey" He plainly answered, his gaze focused on the vegetables he was chopping.

"Only?" I asked raising an eyebrow.

"No" He just muttered.

"What is wrong with you Sanji?" I asked him. He finally met my gaze and left the knife on the chopping board.

"Why do you care so much?" He asked me and I got deeply offended by his words.

"What is that supposed to mean? Shouldn't I care about you?" I asked, furrowing my eyebrows together.

"I don't know..." He looked away.

"It's not something important..." He murmured.

"If it wasn't important, you wouldn't have been like that for an entire one and a half month now..." I told him, crossing my arms.

"Why can't you just drop it?" He asked me.

"Because I don't want to" I simply answered.

"Ugh you're acting like a child..." He rolled his eyes.

"Is your health alright? How about your hibernation stuff?" I asked. Maybe his health is not good lately? I don't know...

"It's fine...thanks" He said quietly and plainly.

"Ooook soooo what's the problem?" I couldn't help but ask with that curious tone.

"I will tell you some other time..." He just said quietly.

"When?" I asked like a child.

"When the time comes..." He said, looking at me straight in the face, his blue sapphire eyes piercing mine.

I didn't say anything...

I just sighed and left the kitchen. On my way to the living room, the doorbell rang. I opened the door and I was greeted by Dragon and Garp.

"Heeeey Dragon, Garp!" I smiled and the came in.

"How's it going pal?" Dragon asked.

"Where's my stupid grandson? I have a punch to give him for not telling me about Law" Garp said and I couldn't help but laugh.

"I'M IN HERE" Luffy yelled from the living room and we all laughed.

"I'm good Dragron, thanks. Well your grandson is apparently in the living room with the others" I told them.

After they hung their coats on the hanger, they went in the living room to greet the others.

Ace's P.O.V.

We were having a good time and the bell rang again. I stood up and went to open the door. Behind it were my parents and my grandfather.

"Ace honey!" My mom literally jumped on me before I could make any moves or say anything.

"H-Hey mom...you're gonna suffocate me..." I tried to say.

She let go and I hugged my father and my old man.

"You haven't called in a week, what happened?" My dad asked.

"I'm fine I just...forgot I guess" I said honestly and put my hand behind my neck.

"Oh come on Roger, he's young. Let him live life" My grandfather said.

I'm always so thankful about my grandfather, he always has my back when it comes to my parents or any troubles that I cause.

"Anyway come in, everyone's waiting" I told them and we all went inside.

After everyone greeted my parents, we all sat and talked. We had a nice time until my mother asked something...inappropriate...

"So tell me Sabo, how's it going with Koala?" She asked and I froze.

Fuck I haven't told them...

I saw that Sabo instantly raised his eyebrows. He must have gotten the fact that they don't know. Ok he's not stupid.

"Um...well you see Rouge...We're not together anymore" He said. Please Sabo don't say anything stupid.

"Oh that's too bad Sabo..." My mom put a hand on her mouth to cover it.

"It's ok I don't mind. It's been one and a half month since we broke up. I've moved on" He informed her.

"You've moved on? Who's the new lucky girl?" My father asked and winked at him. I almost facepalmed.

For fucks sake dad you don't know when to shut up...Ok it's not his fault but anyway...

"Uuuhhh...Ace can I talk to you for a second?" Sabo asked me and I nodded.

We went in the hallway and he crossed him arms.

"So they don't know" He just said without asking.

"Maaaayyybeee..." I said and bit my bottom lip.

"And why haven't you told them yet?" He asked.

"Ok look, it's not the easiest thing to tell your parents that you're gay and in a relationship with the person you've been calling brother for God knows how many years" I barked, clearly frustrated.

"Ok we'll tell them now" Sabo said and went back in the living room, not letting me say a word.

"Sab- ugh..." I sighed and followed him in the living room.

"Rouge, Roger, Edward, Ace has something to tell you" Sabo said and stood right next to me.

"What is it son?" My dad asked.

"Is it something bad?" My mom placed a hand on her chest and fear overtook her. Jesus mom...

"It depends on how you take it..." I mumbled.

"Oh my God Ace! What is it?!?" My mom looked terrified. Ugh.

"Can you relax mom? It's nothing bad" I assured her and she calmed.

"Tell us" My grandfather encouraged me.

Just when I was about to speak, the doorbell rang.

"I'll get it" Law said and stood up.

A few moments later, Zeff appeared in the living room and we all greeted him. He took a seat on the couch next to Sanji. I think that he distracted my parents from what I had to tell them so no worries! Thank you Zeff!

"So Ace what were you saying?" Dragon said out of nowhere.

Daaaamn you Dragon...

I saw Sabo was ready to burst out from laughter because he must have seen my cheeks turning to beetroots from the embarrassement.

"Oh uhh...right...um..." I managed to say but I couldn't.

"Go on we can't wait forever, there's a turkey that's waiting for me in the kitchen" Garp spat.

"Ok ok here it is..." I sighed and paused for a few seconds before speaking again.

"Look, the truth is that, Sabo and I are...together...Mom, Dad, I know that it's difficult to hear something like that but...I can't hide myself anymore..." I confessed to everyone and my parents had neutral expressions on their faces. Is this good or bad?

"Gah! I knew that!" Zeff barked out of nowhere and everyone's eyes turned to him.

"Ace, why didn't you tell us sooner?" My mom asked, giving me sad eyes.

"Because I was afraid of your reactions...It's not the best thing to hear that your only son is homosexual" I said.

"Ace" My dad called. I turned my gaze on my father.

"Does he make you happy?" He asked.

I smiled and looked at Sabo who was looking at me.

"Yes he does..." I kept that smile as I saw Sabo's face turn a shade of darker red.

"Then I'm happy for you too and I hope this relationship lasts" He said and held his wine glass to the air.

"Thank you dad" I said and gave the room a warm smile. "Also I'm not a sis just to remind you. I might like guys but I'm a man above all" I said proud if myself.

"How long is it for the new year?" Garp asked.

"About an hour or so" Zeff answered.

"Come on then, the table is ready" Sanji said and walked first into the kitchen.

We all went in the kitchen and ate. The food was incredible as always. Sanji did his best today.

Luffy's P.O.V.

"10...9...8...7...6...5...4...3...2...1..
HAPPY NEW YEAR!!" Everyone cheered happily as the new year arrived. We were all outside to watch the fireworks that lit up the night sky and my first moment was a beautiful kiss from Law.

"Happy new year babe" He looked at me deep in the eyes and gave me a beautiful smile.

My eye caught Sanji from the door of our house and I saw him staring at Zoro who was talking with my dad.

He still thinks that Zoro wants someone else. Poor Sanji...if only he knew that Zoro is crazy about him... It's clearly a misunderstanding, I know. But the reason that we don't tell him the truth is because we want Zoro to make the move. The truth is that Zoro doesn't talk much about him nor he has made any moves...well I'm not to judge. They do whatever they want. But...I'm still sorry for Sanji.

I suddenly felt water drops falling on my face and I realized that it started raining. We all went inside and continued our New Year celebration.
