Bella closed her eyes in exhaustion as she sat in the passenger side seat of Edward's car.
"I've read everything I possibly could within the past few weeks. Nothing adds up. The attack at the school, Emery healing and still not being able to wake up. I don't think she's going to make it this time." Edward reached over and clutched at her hand, the cold from his skin comforting her from the damp and foggy weather outside.
"Let's be optimistic. If they were able to communicate with me through her, that means that she's still alive. She's healed, her vitals are stable." The Cullen trailed off, his hand on the steering wheel gripping as he watched a somber looking Jasper walk out of the hospital's entryway.
Bella nodded and grasped onto her jacket, before opening up the door.
"Don't lose hope. We're going to figure this out, okay? I'm here, and I'm with you." Bella smiled tiredly at him, glad to know that since the accident happening to her sister, he's beginning to come around.
"I'll see you later." Bella murmured out, before making her way into the hospital. Refusing to look at the other Cullen looking her way, she quickly made her way though the waiting room and into the elevator. Every time she looked at Jasper or Alice, the looks of defeat on their faces pained her.
Bella paused outside of her sister's hospital room, watching as a doctor printed out the recordings of her resting heartrate. Glancing to the left of the inside of the room, Bella began to frown as she saw her exhausted father asleep on the reclining chair, his head haphazardly resting on the wood of the arm. Wincing in sympathy, Bella awkwardly nodded a hello at the nurse and tiredly made her way in, before pausing at her father and unfolding his jacket he tossed to the side, gently resting it on his back for warmth.
As Bella took the seat closest to her sister, she felt the urge to glance over at the flower that has miraculously lasted for the past few weeks, before forcing herself to relax in the stiff chair.
A sudden gust of wind blew past the Swan and right before she closed her eyes, the smell of flowers enveloping her senses, as she fell asleep to the calming sound of her sister's heart monitor.

Doe eyes snapped open, quickly squinting from the light that beamed down into her eyes.
Expecting the sounds of comforting voices from those who she knew would surround her, she was instead greeted with silence.
The smell of grass and lilies filled her nostrils as she began to stand, her hands shaking as she made her way onto her bare feet. Birds chirped with earnest around her in the surrounding trees, as if they were greeting her. With eyes beginning to become accustomed to the now bright light, she opened her eyes widely as she took in her surroundings.
Similar to the field where she and Edward would lie down, was now filled with flowers brighter than she had ever seen. Panic began to fill her as she took in the unfamiliar surroundings. Bella began to panic, her hands clutching her sides, freezing as she looks down at the weeds surrounding her in a bed. Taking a deep breath to steady herself, Bella began to clutch onto the damp ground, her legs swaying as she began to stand.
Eyes straining from the bright light that shined down on her, the Swan began to feel a sense of hope as she began to see a stream and a path to the side of her.
Dewy mud clung onto the bottom of her jeans as she stumbled through the weeds, a rose thorn nicking her thumb as she brushed through. Wincing from the smell of iron tainting the fresh smell of the flowers around her, Bella pushed through until she got to the edge of the stream.
The water's ripples made the flowers that fell down into the water, rush over the earth's edge and cascade around her ankles. Bella gasped out as the water was surprisingly warm.
A hum began to find it's way to her ears, causing Bella to snap her head to the side in surprise. Looking down into the water, the Swan began to notice that a flower, similar to the one that rested next to her sister's bed, was trapped behind a bed of patchy grass.
Reaching her hand down to grab onto the flower, Bella gasped out as the flower blew away and over the stream, the petals reaching over to the other side, and resting near a pair of appearing feet.
"Beautiful, isn't it?" A voice rang out, causing her to snap her head up. Fear began to run through her as the familiar red eyes stared into her own, amused. Huffed laughter came from the other, their eyes taking in Bella's appearance, as a grin began to spread along their face.
"Nature is quite beautiful in that sense. Especially when it stays that way." His voice rang out, an edge appearing in it as he took in the way the Swan's body became tense.
"What are you insinuating?" Bella asked out shakily, her eyes straying from the other as she took in the forest from behind the man.
"Do not take me as a fool, Bella," The man began, his smile diminishing as his eyes grew into a pale green. The color of the man's eyes reminded her of Edward's, when he was communicating with Emery. Bella stared into his eyes as they pulsed, narrowing as she began to feel faint. "I know about your clan of vampire's, or at least, the one's you surround yourself with. Have you ever begun to wonder what kind of danger you and your sister have gotten yourselves into? And on top of that, wolves."
The more than man began to speak out in anger, the more the forest and the sun began to become darker, the once bright white flowers, bleeding into a deep blue.
"Where am I?" Bella instead asked, taking a step back as the man stepped forward, his eyes trained on the shaken up human.
"I was wondering when you'd ask that. Follow me." He answered, turning his back on the Swan and beginning to walk further into the field of flowers.
Bella's eyes widened in fright at the idea of being stuck where she was, and quickly stepped into the water, the flowers creating a clear path as she made her way onto the other side.
"You can think of us as naturalists, although we do go by other names." The man's voice rang out airily, his voice becoming more distant as they walked further and further into the field.
"I know that you plan on turning, and becoming one of them." Bella paused mid step in surprise, inhaling a pollen filled breath. Bella knew that she had not told anyone yet, not even Edward. The idea of the unknown man knowing things about her and those close to her, caused fear to swallow her whole. The man noticed her hesitance and stopped, turning around to face her.
Reaching up to pull off the cloak and reveal his face, his skin glowing a warm shade of honey brown as it becomes exposed. The man's hair fell out of it's casing, resting near his eyes in a pale red, before camouflaging into white.
Bella flinched back from the gleam that came from his eyes, the darkness of the field now becoming bright.
"Your sister is not to be turned, she is a natural. She will not be ruined." He announced with finality, his eyes zeroing in on the girl, who was now covered in warm light.
Bella drew back in as her eyes readjusted to the sun beaming down on her once again.
"We don't have a choice, she's dying. And who are you to say, who are you anyway?" She angrily breathed out, frustration running through her. "I don't know where I am, I don't know who you are, and I want to go home." Bella cried out, her voice raising higher in pitch.
The male in front of her breathed out, and after a moment, began to nod.
"I am from Uranus, who is from Gaia. And I cannot allow Emery to be turned. It is against nature. I have warned you before, do not make me warn you again. I placed your mate into a situation, next time he won't be lucky to get out. Next time it will be you." He warned, his voice becoming edged once again.
Bella glared at the tall male and began to find her footing in the damp grass.
"Stay away from Emery, and stay away from us. The only danger right now is you." Bella grounded out, before turning on her heel and beginning to sprint back into the field where she once came from. The footsteps in which she walked earlier made it easier for her to find her way back to where she began.
"You finding comfort in those who are not natural, is the only danger you are putting yourself in." The man called out, his voice wavering as Bella halted into a stop, before turning around to glance at the unknown man.
"You are the one who harmed her in the first place." Bella accused. "If you hadn't shown up, she wouldn't be hurt and she'd be awake."
The man flared his eyes a deep red, causing Bella to stumble back in shock and fall. Wincing, Bella clutches the earth's surface in her hand as she helplessly watches the man walk closer.
"If I hadn't showed up, she'd already be dead. I saved her. We are not the one's who are doing her harm." The man breathed out forcibly, raising his left hand. Bella yelped out as air brushed against her exposed skin and blew her onto her feet.
Stumbling from the force, Bella whipped around and watched as the man walked toward the water, the sound of humming and birds chirping reappearing once again.
"She is a natural, she belongs here." The man voiced out, his tone sounding emotional.
Realizing that she must go through the water to get to where she once began, Bella walked towards the man, but froze as she stood at his side and stared into the water.
Inside of the water, was her sister.
The Emery that stood in front to her in the water looked the exact same, yet healthier and with bright green eyes. Flowers were wrapped around her wrists in a delicate dance, a white dress cascading down and resting against her feet. A small, permanent looking smile graced her face, her hair pulled back and braided within vines.
Biting back tears at how happy this version of her sister look, Bella looked over at the man who stood by her side.
"This is the version of her I know her to be." The man whispered out, although his voice sounded loud to her ears.
"You may not know me, but I am just trying to warn you. There is much worse than me coming. I just want the best for her, so she must not turn." He spoke out gently, the anger he showed earlier completely diminshing, as he took in the younger sibling's fear.
"What's coming?" Bella asked out in panic, watching as the man's face began to disappear.
"More of their kind, and they're looking for her." He replied, before looking around and began walking away.
"This is your last chance to protect your sister, to do the right thing. Be the sister I know you can be. Protect her, before it's too late."
Before Bella could ask any further questions, the man began to fully disappear, leaving Bella to stare at the field that lied out from where he was once standing.
Fear began to evelope the Swan as she looked around in panic, scared of the idea of being stuck somewhere unknown.
Looking down at the water once again in hope of seeing her sister, Bella is disappointed as she looks down and only sees the same flower, once again entangled in the grass near the stream.
Reaching down to grab onto the flower, Bella's hand instead touches a hand that is reaching out for her, her mouth opening in a scream as she is pulled forward.

Jolting up, Bella gasps out a deep breath as she opens her eyes. Expecting to be underwater or in the field once again, she is once again back in her sister's hospital bed.
Glancing over, Bella sighs out heavily as she takes in the sight of her father asleep in a chair, on the other side of the room. Looking down, the youngest Swan jumps as she looks down and notices the dirt on her clothing.
Disbelief fills her as she realizes that what she had just gone through, had been real. Opening up her mouth to call out to her father, Bella pauses and looks down at her hand. In the middle of her right palm, is the flower she had clutched onto when she was returned. Staring down at the petaled flower in wonder, Bella glances over and notices that the flower that had once gained it's life, had died once again.
Shakily standing back up, Bella lifts the dead flower out of the vase and moves to place the more lively flower in it's place.
"Bells?" A voice rung out into the silent hospital room.
Bella frights and accidentally let's go of the flower. Charlie looks down at her ratted clothing with confusion.
"What happened, Bells? Are you alright?" The Chief asked warily, tiredly raising himself to his feet. Bella watched, enraptured as the flower flowed through the air and found it's way into the open palm of the resting Emery.
Charlie placed his jacket on his chair and made his way over to his startled looking daughter, freezing as he watches his unconscious daughter's hand begin to clutch onto the petals. Watching as the petals began to rot, Bella reached out and clutched onto the free hand Emery had resting on her other side. The Swan's watched as she let go of the petals, the stem now rotten and fallen to the side.
Bella sighed in defeat and began to sit down, her hope of her sister waking up leaving her almost entirely, before Emery's heartrate picked up and her eyes flew open.
