Long way to reach 'home'

my mind couldn't help but roam

thoughts and fears wondered aloud

my heart was lost in feelings crowd

Long way up in the sky

my soul looked for the cry

'home' was never found

just another ride for me to mound

Long way to the right

no one could hear my plight

the tears kept falling a drop

from one 'home' to 'home'

I would never stop

Long way to the left

'run away' my soul said in heft

One more 'home' for me to cross

I wasn't allowed to think about the loss

Long way down in hell

I'm forever trapped in this well

the 'home' shadowed me in this abhor

until everything was in blood and gore

Long way till I finally cool down

my burning heart

where I could proudly boast with gladness apart

no more fears to ruin this

my dream to find a 'home'
