Soldier:"Sir, we have breached their gate and we have begun deploying our mobile cannons."

General Kraos:" I knew they would be no match for our new weapon, a cannon on a cart that does not need a beast to move."

Although we couldn't mount a bigger cannon due to the recoil destroying itself, the ones we could mount could go through a plate of iron 25 mm thick. We use 4 people to make it move, it's quite mobile due to the low wheight.

Kraos:" heh, I can already see them surrendering and begging for their lives."

(Inside the walls of Waltzington)

"THE GATE HAS BEEN BREACHED!! FALL BACK!!"

Why do they have panzers? It should be impossible for them to make them, nevertheless mass build them.

"Get to the Jäger! We need to go into urban combat!"

We ran all the way back to the middle of the city, we could hear them firing. We got on to our designated spots, Marco at the wheel, Lucas on the MG 34, Arran as the loader, Peter manning the 88mm kwk 43 L/71 and me as the Kommandant.

"Marco step on it!"

The engine roared and sped down the road.

Marco:" 12 o'clock! 3 Enemy panzers!"

"Halt! Diamond position!"

The Tiger veered of to the left before skidding to a stop.

"Peter! Far left!"

The turret rotated to left and aimed in.

"Fire!"

Boom! Shink!
The shell roared through the air to its target, it went right through the upper front part of its structure. A few moments later it exploded into a ball of fire.

Peter:"Bullseye!"

The other 2 realizing that one of them is no longer existing, turn and aim at the Jäger.

"Reload!"

Arran:"Loaded AP!"

"Fire!"

Boom! Shink!
The shell hit its mark by going in through the barrel of the cannon, pushing the entire gun inside of the compartment. The 3rd manages to aim and fire, and makes contact with the Tiger.

Ping!
The small caliber ball ricochets off the side and hits the floor due to a massive Loss of energy.

Lucas:"Haven't heard that sound in a while!"

When the enemy panzer see their shot bounce, they start backing behind a building.

"You ain't going anywhere, Marco, forward."

The Tiger cuts the distance and stops in front of the alley that the others had gone through , which they were still in the process of.

"Fire!"

The panzer  bursted into flames from having its gunpowder ignited, leaving it as a smoldering wreck.

Peter:" Got em! Finn, find us another target!"

(Valkarian camp)

Kraos:" According to plan, they should have captured the public square at the core of the city."

Soldier:"Sir!"

Kraos:" ah, Have you captured the public square?"

Soldier:" No,sir!"

Kraos:"What? What's taking y'all so long? You have the mobile cannons! You should had captured it with ease!"

Soldier:"About that sir, all of the 3 mobile cannons that have entered the city have been destroyed."

Kraos:"Impossible! They are protected al the way around!"

Soldier:"They have their own mobile cannon! But better than ours in everything! Fire power, speed, even armor!"

Kraos:" Deploy every mobile cannon we have, that comes to around 20. If we can't take it down 1 on 1 , then we will over run them."

Soldier:"Yes sir."

(Inside the Jäger)

"Head to the gate, we'll stop any more of them from getting in."

Marco:"Infantry spotted! 10 o'clock!"

"Lucas, nail them hard."

Lucas fired the MG 34 at the group of foot soldiers, they fell quickly without much of a struggle. We continued moving until we reached the breached gate that lay in thousands of pieces, we run set up in side-scraping position. This position is to only show the acute angle of the side armor, almost every shot that hits the side will just bounce off.

"Put your headsets on, I'm gonna have to peek out of the cupola."

Lucas:" Is everyone's working?"

Marco:"They do."

Arran:"Positiv."

Peter:"Yeah."

"Good."

I start peaking my head out, it's too dark and there are a lot of people shouting for me to hear.

"I don't see anything... Turn the hull a little bit to the right, so we can use the headlights."

Marco:"Ok."

Choco:*Bark!

"Hold, Choco's sixth sense went off. They're looking at us."

Back in our previous world, we relied on Choco for our survival. Every time we were being watched, she gets very defensive. We found out about it back around when we were cadets in the attack to our training camp. Ever since then, she has saved our skins a lot of times and we have called it Choco's sixth sense.

Just then after, multiple flashes of lights appeared.

"Incoming!"

Ping! Clang!

We were hit with a salvo but thanks to the 100mm of armor at the front and 80 on the sides they only scratched off the paint.

"Argh! I can't see where they are at!"

Peter:" All we know is that they are aiming at us."

Marco:"Want me to pull out? Because if we get tracked, we are not gonna see the end of it."

"Get is out of here, we can't do much here if we can't see."

We started reversing to the left and behind a building, we quickly start thinking of ways to be able to see without exposing ourselves too much.

Marco:" The best we have is the headlight at the front but it's at the front, if we try using it we are gonna be a giant target."

Lucas:" Can't we just rely on our armor? We have been bouncing their shots with ease."

Arran:" That's because they've been hitting the angled side and the transmission roof."

Peter:"We don't know what the real penetration at a 90 degree angle is, it could go right through the upper plate."

"Because of that, we can't go aggressively. We just don't know enough about this world, they could have technology we have never seen that could match ours or exceed it."

Marco:"What now? It's not like we can bait them in because they probably already now that we are a big threat."

Peter:" Now that I think about it, what about the city guards? We haven't received anything from them, we don't know if they're doing fine or need help."

Arran:" I sometimes miss that there aren't radios in this place."

"I'll go and see what the situation, Peter will be in charge of the Jäger. Since he's the closest to the copula and doesn't need to fire too often."

Peter:" Positiv Kommandant."

"Lucas, can the headset be at a range?"

Lucas:" Yeah, it has a minimum of 300 meters before it starts having problems, 450 or more it just stops working."

"I'll be back, remember, do your jobs and stay alive. If I come back and the Jäger is in flames, we all blame Lucas."

Lucas:"Hey! "

I open the hatch and look all around, there's no one except distant yelling and shouting. I start climbing down onto the street with my MP 40, I avoid the Main Street and go through in between the houses and secondary streets.

"Oh my... what the hell?"

I turned a corner and saw how people were being dragged out of their homes into the street, the men were killed and the women were being thrown into a wagon.

"HEY!"

The soldiers stoped and looked in my direction, some grinned and stared running towards me. They pulled out their swords, ready to attack. I start aiming towards them and opened fire.

Papapapapapapa!

The bullets sank into their bodies, tearing through everything in their path. They fell down with a skid, the others that were watching went into panic and grabbed onto their shields.

Papapa! Papapa!

The shields did hardly any protection, and then they just dropped to the ground.

Lady:"Thankyouthankyouthankyou....."

Man:" How can I repay you?!"

" Right now it's not the time for that, does anyone know the situation?"

Man:"You don't know either? We have been holed up in our houses until they started breaking in, at that moment we thought that we had lost."

"Damn, thanks but I need to go."

Lady:"It's you we need to thank, if it wasn't for you I can't imagine what would had happened to my girls."

"Wait, what happens to the females?"

Lady:"When a city falls, they kill the men and take the females to be slaves or force them into prostitution. It's a very awful thing."

Soon after she says that, I turned around and started running to Emilia's house. Please be safe. I never have ran that fast in my life, when i was getting close to it. I saw people breaking in, there was a shout. I felt something breaking with pain, it was the same feeling from 5 years ago.
