Ga1ahad: That wasn't just any dragon, it was from an ancient race called drachenvolks.

Luna: What does that mean? I've never heard that anywhere.

Ga1ahad: I'm afraid I do not know, I read the word in a mythology book but it did not went into detail as to the origin of it.

"Drachenvolks, but how..."

Luna: Do you by any chance what it is?

"Oh, no I don't know."

Dragon people? But why is it in German?

Molotov: Hey, are you all done wasting air?

"What is it Molotov...?"

Molotov: Weren't we heading to that city Lakis? I don't want that thing to come back to finish where it left off.

"Makes sense, Luna, help Ga1ahad get on."

After we got our belongings and minds together after the whole ordeal with that thing, we returned to the road that led to the city of Lakis.

(5 PM, Clemets highway)

"Ok everyone, we are almost to the city."

Lucas: I can't wait to move my legs.

Peter: Now that you mentioned that, when we get there you are in charge to walk Choco for a bit. At least until she is tired of you.

Lucas: Why me?! Why can't Marco do it?!

Arran: Marco can't do it because Choco will just drag him all over the place.

Lucas: But I-

"Just do it Lucas, even if you said no we would still make you do it."

Lucas: ....Fiiiiine.

"Luna, do you know by any chance what Lakis is like?"

Luna: Yeah, its a medium sized city that is the second line of defense in case of invasions and such things.

Marco: Im concerned how they would react to us, like we are driving in tanks and for here not a lot of people think its even possible.

Arran: Probably would react the same as our grandfathers  when the British used them at the battle of Flers-Courcelette.

Luna: Flers what?

" Its a battle from where we are from. Speaking about their reactions, lets see where their watchtowers are at."

I grabbed my binoculars and started looking at the top of the wall. something seemed off.

"I dont see anyone on the walls, or is that they are on break?"

Luna: That wouldnt make sense, ever since the Argyle ravines appeared they should always be on alert.

Arran: Then how come we havent run into any from there on the way here?

Luna: I uh..

Ga1ahad: We'll see when we get there, once we get there our questions should be answered.

A little after we got near the walls of the city, we realized for a medium sized city it seemed quiet. Too quiet. I got off to knock on the gate.

"Hello!"

Nothing.

"Something is not right, its too quiet and noone is answering the door."

Ga1ahad: I have an idea.

Ga1ahad: Are you ready?

"Yeah sure, Im ready, just dont drop me."

Ga1ahad: Understood, 3,2,1!

Ga1ahad's ice wings lifted us into the sky above the wall in an instant giving me no time to look over the wall.

"Hey that's enough!"

The wings went into gliding mode and as I got my attention together i started to analyze the other side of the wall. Nothing seemed out of ordinary at first glance but then I realized that everything was still, nothing moved.

" Ga1ahad, get us to land on top of the wall."

Ga1had: Got it Finn.

We glided down and managing to land on top of the wall, there was no one on the walk way on top of the wall.

"Ok, where is the way down?"

Ga1ahad: Its over there.

I looked at where Ga1ahad was pointing at, it was a stair case built within the the wall. We went towards and down it, we got to a door and i tried to open it but something was on the other side blocking it. We both pushed it at the same time and moved whatever was on the other side out of the way.

"Wonder why they blocked it."

Ga1ahad: Maybe to keep something ou-

"Hmm? what were you saying?"

Ga1ahad: Look at this.

I walked over to the other side of the door and i was not prepared for what was there. Its was a soldier very well dead for sometime.

" What the?"

Ga1ahad kneeled down and flipped the corpse over and how we regretted it. We jumped back from the sight, the soldier's face was caked with yellow secretions.

"What in the name of the Kaiser is that!?"

Ga1ahad: I dont know, but it must have something to do with the whole city.

" We have to tell the others, then we will agree on what to do next."

Ga1ahad: Lets go, the gate should be this way.

We made our way to where the gate was and decided to go through the smaller door on the gate for people alike. We made sure that no one or nothing was around before we went through the door.

Luna: Hey you guys are back, did you find someone?

"Well.. i guess you can say that."

Ga1ahad: We did find someone but he wasnt fresh.

" We'll explain in a bit, ill go get Molotov."

Once Molotov got here we explained what we saw, at first Molotov didnt believe it at first but when he saw we weren't making things up he decided to listen.

Molotov: So what are we gonna do?

Ga1ahad: We will either have to go around the city or go through it, either way we have to do something now or its going to get dark soon.

Luna: I say that we go around, im not really in the mood to deal with scary things.

Molotov: I say that we go through the city, i dont really want to deal with the soft terrain.

" Well, it WILL save us time and going around is safer. The thing is that we are probably not the only ones that are gonna pass by here, it would be good to know what happened and to warn other before we leave."

" Open the gate Ga1ahad."

As the gate opened both Tanks' engines roared to life breaking the silence, then jerked forward as they were put in first gear. After both tanks got through the gate Ga1ahad closed it and then jogged and climbed back onto the Tiger.

"Here we go..."

As we ventured through past the gate area into the commercial district of the city we looked into the stands in the middle of assembly or near completed state.

Luna: It seems that they were left in a panic, theres a lot of thing just thrown about.

She was right, most of it did seem it was abandoned in a hurry. There was many alerts going off in my head, This is not ok, there is something very wrong here, we need to get out of here quick. I decided to load the MG34 and have it ready, the more we went in the worse it got. At first it was just abandoned stands and such but now it was full on traces of mayhem, stands laid in ruin and and some were even destroyed. My heart was beating to the point that i thought it was louder than the engine, it wasnt till when we got to the City hall. It was then when we first saw what we thought was a person, Luna was going to call out to them but then we told her not to. We realized that it wasnt even a person anymore, it had its head into the ground as if it was an ostrich in africa. 

Luna: Why is he doing that? Maybe he knows something.

"Do you really want to go up to it and ask it a question?"

Luna knew it was a bad idea to begin with, she probably wanted to confirm that it indeed WAS a bad idea. Her face was pale as a sheet of paper, I was probably looking at a mirror now that i thought about it. As we got further, we could see the gate more clearly now but the mess was getting worse and worse. At this point it there were now bodies on the street, some were as if bear had lunch and others were slashed with something like a sword. When we got to the gate i hopped down and got to the gate and started undoing the locks, thankfully most of them werent in place. 

" Okay, just a couple mor-

Luna: GYAHHHH!!!!!

I turned around to see that Luna had gotten dragged off the Tiger hull and landed on the ground as something started crawling ontop of her

Luna: NO! STOP, GET OFF ME, HELP!!!

I drew out my Luger as Ga1ahad dropped infront of my line of sight and pushed what ever it was off of Luna,

Ga1ahad: Are you ok? are you hurt?

Luna: N-n-no.

The thing appeared to be a soldier but was is a horrible condition compared to the first one we saw, it did not look like it should be able to move in the first place.

Ga1ahad: What in the?

" Get out of the way!" 

I pointed at it and fired once. 

Pa! 

The bullet hit it in the chest and at first it stopped but then lifted its head and started walking towards us.

???: *Moan

I fired again 3 more times.

Pa! Pa! Pa!

The third hit it in the head and it dropped on the ground not moving. 

Molotov: What in the Motherland was that...

"I dont know but we shou-"

Crash...

We all froze looking in the direction we came from, it wasnt fully dark yet but we could see figures coming out from the buildings.

Ga1had: We need to go NOW.

I ran back towards the doo are started to get back into unlocking the gate and after it was unlocked i opened it just enough for the tanks to get through. as the tanks started passing through Ga1ahad came up to me.

Ga1ahad: We need to lock it again, we cant afford to let this things out.

After the tanks were through me and Ga1ahad started to put back the lock on the gate which was a task that was almost impossible to to the adrenaline making delicate movements a mess. I looked back where we came from and it was now filled with figures, i was immediately in a trance until Ga1ahad grabbed my shoulder.

Ga1ahad: Come on! this way!

We ran towards one of the stair cases that lead towards the top of the wall, just when we got to it a woman jumped out of around the corner.

Woman(?): Snarl!

Ga1ahad: Het! 

Ga1ahad unsheathed his sword and slashed the woman in half and ran up the stairs closing the door behind us. 

Ga1ahad: Okay, same as earlier okay?

"Yeah!"

Ga1ahad then took a hold of me and the next instant we were up in the sky and now gliding towards the tanks. Once we landed we needed some time to get our minds together.

Molotov: Could someone explain to me what in the world was that!?

"No, we cant."

Luna: I think, we should just keep going.

Ga1ahad: .....Yeah....

Peter: Wait, before we go.

Peter got out of the tank and grabbed one of the paint cans and a brush.

Peter:  Give me a minute, I need to this at least.

He went to the gate and wrote on it with the pain:

DO NOT ENTER, STAY OUT.

Peter: Ok, lets go.

We got our things together and soon we kept going up North on Clemets Highway.
