Chapter 4 ༄ Problem
"Yes, we have the exact location of the Bridger's child." The twi'lek, who was missing the lekku informed his boss. After a long walk back to their base of operations on Lothal. He wondered why they had to work from such a desolate outpost.
"Good good." His boss answered, with a grin.
"What do you want us to do now?" The twi'lek answered, wondering what crazy thing he has to do next.
"Now nothing, tomorrow we will see. Keep an eye on her." The figure responded and hanged up the comm system.
The twi'lek was confused for a moment, but this was always how his boss acted.

Five-ish years later...
"Mom?" Freedom crept up behind his mother who was currently updating the family portrait in the living room. She hadn't gotten around to adding Amber or updating Freedom and Kay's growth.
"Hey Freedom." She was enjoying one of her few rare moments of peace and no kids, ever since Amber came along three years ago, it's been a hassle with a three, six and nine year old. Amber was currently sleeping and Ezra and Kay were out shopping. She loved every second of being a parent, even if her brain tried to argue. Sometimes, she wished she was back fighting the Empire, but those thoughts were always dismissed pretty quick. She and Ezra promised no more kids, three was always their "plan".
"Can I draw with you?" Freedom asked, sitting down next to her.
She was surprised for a moment, none of the kids have ever shown interest in art. Kay has wanted to be a Jedi ever since Ezra explained to her what it was, she was the protector of the family. "Yeah." She nodded and handed him one of her scrap pieces of cloth she was using to keep the paint off the floor.
"Thanks." He nodded and took the cloth, and grabbed one of Sabine's paint cans and began to paint with his mother.

Ezra was out shopping with Kay, Kay had insisted she needed new clothes, but Ezra begged to disagree. "Kay you don't need another satchel, you already have a good one, Sabine even customized it for you."
"But I like this one, Daddy." She whined and held the bag close to her chest, looking up at him with puppy eyes.
"That may work on Hera, but it's not going to work on me." Ezra shook his head and took the bag from his daughter and set it back down in the counter. "No you don't need this." He disciplined and she frowned, but didn't put up anymore of a fuss.
Ezra looked up from his daughter for a moment to scan the crowd before they started to head home, because he had a feeling, something he hadn't felt in a long time, he just happened to see a familiar face walk past him and into the alley. The familiar face was Kanan's and Ezra instantly knew what that meant. Sebrin the force sensitive changeling was back.
"Stay here, Kay. I'll be right back." Ezra told her daughter, prepared not to be tricked and put his hand on his blaster holster. "Don't worry."
"Ok daddy." Kay had a bad feeling about this, but didn't know how to explain that she had one.
Ezra walked down the alley after Sebrin and immediately felt a hand over his mouth and a needle on his arm. "Sebrin..." He managed to get out before the world went black.
༄
One minute turned into ten and Ezra still wasn't back. She started to get looks from people who were walking past. "Daddy..." She mumbled, scared and went off down the alley. It was pretty much a dead end into a tall fence on the other side. She looked around and there was no one around. There was a noise from a trash can and she jumped, but it ended being just a loth cat.
She walked over to the loth cat and it purred with her touch. "Did you see my dad anywhere?" She asked it, losing hope.
It just meowed, nonsense back. Kay sighed and started to climb the fence. The loth cat meowed at her as she began. "It'll be fine." She assured the loth cat, she continued to climb the fence, getting closer with every step. She was almost to the top when one of the wires gave out under her foot. She instantly lost balance, being caught so off guard and cut her arm, pretty deep on the way down on another spare wire.
She let out a sob and curled up into a ball on the ground near the fence, crying. The loth cat started to meow loud and ran out into the street. She heard a voice, and soon arms wrapped around her waist, pulling her off the ground. Kay let out another sound of pain as the figure leaned her against the wall and began to wrap up her arm with some cloth. "Who are you?" She whispered, trying to make out the figure, but it was too dark and she was too much in pain to notice.
"Shhhh it's ok, save your strength." The figure answered and she decided to give into her pain, then everything went dark.
The figure picked her up and began to carry her out of the desolate alley. "Does anyone know who this is?" He asked, the people walking past.
"Oh my force!" Kelli said, running out of her shop when she noticed Kay out the window. "I do I'll take you to her family, you can back to yours. I can handle this... I think."
Kelli looked at the boy who was holding Kelli, he wasn't that much older than her, maybe three-four years, Kelli speculated.
"I would rather come." He replied and she nodded, she had never seen this boy before, and she liked to think she knew everyone.
Kelli lead the way back to the Bridger's house with a broken Kay and a strange boy in tow.
