I strongly recommend that you avoid reading further down if you haven't read the previous books as this part will obviously be full of spoilers.

Since Aaron's story is one that will span over 15 years, here is a simplified timeline that I will update with each new published chapter to help you follow up. As you can imagine, it would have been impossible to cover all these years through a daily progression and it would have been pointless, so you can expect several time skips between blocks of chapters and the below timeline should help you keeping tracks of events.

In the evening, Aaron gets punished by his father for his recent attitude and having disrespected his mother (B5C2).

14: the guys hold their 16th birthday party after Aaron snuck out (B5C3)

December:

27: end of Aaron's grounding (B5C4)

Sun.20: Aaron decides to live his life to the fullest and escapes to spend the day with his friends and Danny, and when he returns, the house is locked (B5C16,17)

Mon.21: Aaron's father tries to beat him but Aaron stands his ground and threatens to call the police (B5C17)

Wed.30: Aaron's behavior has been going out of hand, rebelling against his parents. He just started smoking, dragging Cam in his wake, and even fights with Mark. That evening, his father informs him that he'll be sent to a boarding catholic school (B5C17)

Thur.31: Aaron flees from NJ (B5C18,19)

December:

Sun.29: Aaron arrives at night in Phoenix after a 36-hour drive from San Antonio and uses the travel center's facility to shower and sleep there (B5C20)

Mon.30: Aaron desperately tries find a driver who'll take him to Los Angeles and might yield to a handsome hunk's offer. He also speaks with Josh on the phone (B5C20)

January: 

Aaron mostly stays in parks and looks for a moonlighting job, but quite unsuccessfully. He also tries shelters for youths but he feels uncomfortable from the questions (B5C21)

February:

Aaron starts mingling with other youths and meets Jaden who gives him a lot of tips on how to survive as a homeless and makes him discover the LA LGBT center. That's where they meet another group of youths who offer for them to join their squat. That's also when Aaron starts smoking pot (B5C21)

April:

Friday 11:

Aaron speaks over the phone with Cam, Josh and Mark. He's been creating a life of lies to reassure them, pretending he lives in a neat apartment with Jaden being his boyfriend when he's merely a fuck-buddy who dragged him into his addiction for drugs. As usual, Aaron feels down after the call and as Jaden comes back, he offers an X pill that Aaron eventually swallows, and the two guys have sex, soon joined by Landon and Jason, another gay couple (B5C22)

Friday 23:

By then, the guys have graduated and enrolled into their respective universities (Yale for Josh, Boston for Cam and NY for Mark). Aaron is running out of weed and suggests Jaden to start prosituting themselves, which they try that same evening. Their first time goes fairly well with Jaden earning more than Aaron (B5C23)

June:

Wednesday 11:

The boys are on their way to "work", but with Jaden apparently having a urinary infection, Aaron offers to do the work that night while Jaden waits. Aaron goes with a rich guy who offers one grand for anal sex. Aaron accepts but having already secured half the cash, he escapes and manages to run away. He uses a young girl to pass the message to Jaden and they meet later at the squat, celebrating with a fix (B5C24). The following day, Aaron takes Jaden to the LGBT centre to get tested and he turns out to have gonorrhea, so he won't be able to "work" for at least two or three weeks (B5C25)

Sunday 22:

Jaden hasn't healed yet, but Aaron wants to go to work that night as they've been living on the $500 he stole ten days before. While Jaden goes to buy his drugs from Miguel, Aaron stays at the squat to help others and then brood in his "room", jacking off to the memory of the day he and the guys lost their virginity. Jaden comes back after he stole Miguel's stock and when Brett hears that, he kicks him out. Aaron decides to follow him and they both leave after they have packed up. On their way, while Aaron relieves himself in an alley, Jaden is killed by the gang, so Aaron flees after little hesitation. After long hours wandering and hiding in a park, he is unlucky to meet Miguel and his gang, but lucky enough to be saved by other men (B5C25)

Monday 23:

Aaron awakes at hospital, with the rich gentleman by his bed. Being quite sore and bruised, he can't escape the man and a nurse actually calls in to check on him. The man gave a false name for Aaron and it turns out that he was able to save all of Aaron's belongings. After the doctor's visit and a rather tense first conversation with the man who sounds super authoritative and yet offers help, Aaron manages to escape, but not for long since he gets caught by the gentleman's chauffeur (B5C26). After a long wait in the car, the man shows up and Aaron is driven to his place. Mr Vargas says he wants to help him out and once inside, he asks Aaron to tell him about his childhood and adolescence, as well as about his runaway to LA and how he has been living since then. Reliving everything has Aaron break down, crying himself to sleep. He wakes up in the evening in a bedroom, with Mr Vargas offering him to stay if he agrees to certain rules (B5C27). That evening, they have a brief fight as Aaron asks for his weed but only gets a plain cigarette (B5C28)

Tuesday 24:

Ivan wakes Aaron early, which puts him in a bratty mood. Aaron gets to meet again Anton (who turns out to be the security manager for all of Ivan's establishments), and Anita too (the housekeeper). They then have that conversation, with Aaron reading the agreement Ivan prepared, but soon after, Aaron is left on his own, not before he has had to tell Ivan and Anton about what happened with the gang on Sunday, since Ivan needs to go to work (B5C28) Aaron keeps himself busy for the rest of the day and manages the first symptoms of withdrawal on his own in the evening, scratching his legs (B5C29)

Wednesday 25:

Determined to accept the offer, Aaron wakes up before Ivan but he finally gets to ask him questions that morning and to know more about his savior (B5C29). That afternoon, Aaron keeps himself busy again but in the evening, gloom swallows him whole and after a terrible nightmare, he goes through withdrawal. Ivan arrives right on point to calm him down, and Aaron confesses about his stress regarding his best friends in NJ (B5C30).

Thursday 26:

Medical checkup with Marcus (B5C30).
