I was raised in a bigot family.

Church, God, Strict Rules, Seriousness, School, Homophobia, Conservatism, Family. These were their motto. Not mine.

I wasn't the rebel kid, more like a sheep, at least until adolescence hit me. These beliefs have led me to become the total opposite to what my family expected. My faith mostly lays in wildness, triviality, sex. I am dreaming of fun and liberty of mind. Worst sin of all, I am attracted to males, and this might be the last straw for my parents.

My ultimate faith lays in my three childhood friends. Camden Hall. Joshua Pierce. Mark Murray. Our bond goes far beyond friendship, love or any other human feeling. We are a whole entity. One cannot go without the others.

And yet...

When our 17th birthday turns into a tragic event and my father threatens me with the worst possible future he can think of, none of their comfort will prevent my flight from a life I don't yearn for. Sometimes, you just need to see new horizons, taste new dangers to build yourself. I may end up burning my wings in Los Angeles, but who knows? I might also meet my peace of mind...
