Announcement
I'm not very good at making my announcements short, but promise, I'll try my best.
To begin with, I would like to thank you for following me on another ride throughout the Black Moon series, for your votes, and for your comments. They mean a lot to me, much more than whatever real money I could get by publishing these books and removing them from here. This Black Moon world will be six years old in a few weeks, so it says how much it means to me, and it's not even over. Writing has become a passion even more than a pastime, I write for myself in the first place, and I'm just happy to share it with whoever has grown attached to these characters too.
In this respect, I want to give a special thank you to all of you the courageous readers who followed Aaron's adventures as they were published each week. Your comments are even more precious to me because they are what helps me to edit the draft and to sometimes change certain aspects whenever it's possible. You said you wanted to see more cuddling moments between Aaron and Ivan, well, I added quite a few in the published version; that's one example. Now, I know you want to see Ivan live, but on this one, I'm sorry, it won't be possible. Anyway, once again, thank you for being here along the ride, thank you for your patience, I owe you, lovelies.
While I'm in the thank you's, I want to thank the four beta readers of this story: Fhanth – You're being missed, Perfect, and even if it sucks, you already know how much I love you and how much I'm happy for you. Thank you so much for all your support and help 🖤🖤🖤 – DragonFlames32 and Galagoogoo – I miss you too, crazy guys – and a big up for the fantastic JaneyJordan who's still around – my JJ, I'm so grateful for you to read the published version, and even more for your precious reviews on the drafts, kudos to you!
🔥🔥🔥
So this is the end of Eclipse of the Moon, the end of an era for young Aaron, and I sincerely hope that you all enjoyed reading about the four musketeers' teenage life and walk into their young adult life as much as I enjoyed creating their past. In figures, it means over 850 pages on my Word file, and approximately 475K words, and that's only the beginning. Aaron's story was supposed to be only one book, and it has extended to three (well, four now if we include Book 9 of the series), and the more I write in 314 Moons, the longer it stretches on, so it just says how much I've grown to love this character for whom I didn't even plan to write a single book back in 2016-2017.
The end of an era means the beginning of a new one, so Rise of the Moon will take you along Aaron's adventures as he loses his mentor, leaves Los Angeles and moves to Chicago, starts the Black Diamond, welcomes his dearly-missed childhood friends in Illinois, and finally sees them settle down. I know you're dreading Ivan's death, and I'm not going to lie, having reread ROTM recently, it's not an easy journey. We're not there yet, so let's just enjoy him while he's here.

Now, in terms of schedule... When will I start publishing Rise of the Moon?
I have often been asked this question lately (although it was clearly said in the status update last September), so let's make it clear once again. Yes, Rise of the Moon is fully written, but I will NOT start publishing it until I have completely written 314 Moons & More to Come. The reason is that now that I am writing about Aaron's relationship with Kayden and their Sub, there are aspects of their past I need to define, and the same goes with personalities, character development, and that means a lot of editing in Rise of the Moon, which I can't do until I'm 100% sure of what I want in 314 Moons.
Don't ask me how long it's going to take to complete this third arc, I have no idea. I have written about 50 chapters between end of September and end of December, that's a huge lot, and all I hope for is that inspiration will stay by my side in the next few months. This third book is going completely off the plan I had prepared for it, so I don't even know how many chapters it will have. Right now, I'm writing chapter 61, and the Sub still hasn't become a part of the couple, so... we'll see.
Now that Eclipse of the Moon is fully published, I'll be able to entirely focus on the writing of the third book, and hopefully, it will help. I will keep you updated, and if I can, I'll try to write a few one-shots in the meantime.
Also, I have no idea which day of the week or at which frequence I will update. We'll see how busy I am and how my weeks work when we get there ;)
Thank you again for sticking around, and I hope to still see you in the next arc!
With love,
Nath 28/12/2021
