" Yo man wake up, you good? You have been in the same position for the longest time now", said Benjamin. "Yeah, I'm good man. Let's just go", said Jacob. "Alright", said Benjamin, and with that they all continued to where they each had worked at.  First was Jacob's building since the other two had time before checking in where they worked in. Soon they got to Jacob's building and they bid him good-bye. And they went around driving around to places.

"So Benjamin where do you wanna go", asked Kurt, "I don't know and I don't care", said Benjamin. "Ok", said Kurt. "I'll just drop you off at your building also then since I'm pretty sure you also have work today like I do", said Kurt, "Fine, whatever you want to do", said Benjamin. As Kurt starts to drive Benjamin to his company, Benjamin started to reminisce about his past with Miki just like how he remember it was yesterday.

~14 years ago~

"Hey Miki, d..... do...... you want to be my........... girlfriend?", asked a very shy boy, " Ben, but what about Rosie?", asked a shy girl. "She left me for someone else", said the young boy, "Oh, but are you sure? There's no way you would want a girl like me.", said the young girl. Then the young boy went towards her anyways and hugged her, "I've always liked you but I didn't know how you would feel but I know that if I didn't do something then I would have no chance of asking you out.", said the young boy. "Ok then", said the young girl, " Ok I'll catch you later then", said the younger boy going to his friends after talking to the younger Miki. 

"Hey man, I heard you got the girl. Nicely done.", said friend 1. "Yeah man nice job", said friends 2 and 3. "Thanks, well I gotta go now before my mom kills me and never lets me hang out longer after school anymore", said younger Ben. 

Walking home by himself, he thought to himself, "I finally asked the girl I liked for so long, and then she now becomes something my friends bet on. I should get her to break up with me on this bet before she gets hurt ", he thought to himself. "Arghhhhh, I'm so upset with myself, why did I agreed to this. It'll hurt her so much that she'll hate me for doing this to her and she will never talk to me again.", said 6 years old Benjamin. He kept thinking about the endless possibilities of Miki hating him for leading her on like this to the point she wants him to avoid appearing in front of her again.

~At Benjamin's Home~

"I'm home", said Benjamin, "Welcome home Benny", said Mrs. Kingsley. "Right thanks. What did you called me for though Mother?', asked the young boy, "Why were you in the middle of playing with your friends sweetie?', asked Mrs. Kingsley. "No, I was just wondering", said the young boy. "Well tonight we'll be attending your father's business dinner, and the Yang family along side as the other families like Collins, Hirose, Miguez, and Liu top business families will be there, remember what your father told you though", said Mrs. Kingsley, "Yes I understand Mother. And he said as long as we can get along with mainly those families we can be just fine and our business will bloomed", said the young boy and responded with what she had asked him about what his father had told him before when his father was teaching him about business things. "Hm. Now go along and get ready for the dinner party now sweetie", she said approving of his answer as he had remembered his father had taught him, and started to get ready for the party herself after telling him to go prepare.

Benjamin listened to his mother and went up the stairs to follow her orders as she had instructed to go prepare for the business dinner party. As he walked upstairs to his room, he wondered what happened if Miki had found out the truth before that. But then thought that the earlier she left him at this time around the more safer from his friends she can be and not get hurt with his so-called friends. "That's right the sooner I can protect her the sooner she be safer then it'll be better if she can break-up with me sooner than later than.", he thought.

~Later at the business dinner party~

Classical music is being played in the background as everyone enters the reception place.

Every family including the top families like the Yang family, and the Collins family, and the Kingsley family, and the  Hirose family, and the Miguez family and lastly the Liu family, and every other business partners family. Everyone was just standing around talking to each other and others around them, meanwhile the children has a different place to attend to until they were told to go be with their parents.

"Hey where's Miki-chan?", asked Eiji one of Miki's rich friend  who's family is also in the business industry. "Well I heard that she is stuck with her twin little sister Mira, getting a very sometime make over from her mom even though she looks fine", said Miki's other friends Ren. "Bruh she doesn't even wear glasses or anything she'll be just fine. What's the point of the make over", responded Eiji. As Eiji and Ren continue talking about how Miki's mom is overreacting how both her daughters should look is ridiculous, as Benjamin passes by them he over heard their conversation."So she's getting a makeover", he thought. 

~A few minutes passed~

It was almost time for the dinner party to start and everyone was still hanging around and there was still the Yang family who haven't shown up yet everyone was getting concerned about the Yang family as they are the most important family who still has the past Royal blood of their family background of mixed Japanese-American. "Where is the Yang family", asked Mrs.Collins asking the other top businesses mothers. *Ring* *Ring* "Hello, Mr. Yang, what can I do for you", said Mr. Hirose. And everyone stopped the conversation to listened to listen for the Yang family's whereabouts and safety, "Yes sir I understand. I'll let everyone else know, meanwhile I'll send someone on your way", said Mr. Hirose, "Ok we hope to see you and your family here safely soon then Mr. Yang", he said then hang up the call. And made another call, "Hey Stephan yeah I need you to go pick up someone since there's a delay going on over there, I'll send you there address before you get here, ok", said Mr. Hirose. And hangs up that call, "Ok everyone there's been a delay on Mr. Yang's pick up car, so he asked me to send Mr. Stephan to go pick him and his family as instructed", he said to everyone.

And everyone was relieved, everyone showed that they were glad to know that the Yang family is safe. "I guess we are all happy to know that the Yang family is safe, I'm assuming", said Mr. Hirose. "Of course we are. They helped us all at our worst and before he or any of us had started our business, am I right", asked Mr. Liu. And everyone there around them had agreed, and continue on as they waited patiently for the Yang family as they want to enjoy sometime with the Yang family before dinner started.

Soon in the children's own hang out place where they do the same like their parents they saw two people entering the place holding hands who were twins, "Woah Miki-chan, Mira-chan. You both look great", said Eiji complimenting them in Japanese, "He's not wrong, but I'm still glad we can still tell you both apart", said Ren. "True", said Mira. 

And so with that they continued on with the party. All the children are doing their own thing just like their parents but in a different room. But there was a young boy just staring at a particular young girl until, "I know you know it's not nice to stare", said a familiar voice, but the young boy knows there's no way it's her though. "Hey Miki, how are you doing today", he asked. "Pfft", she laughs, "I'm not my twin older sister", said the younger girl. "Oh. Wait Miki has a younger twin sister", he asked in confusion. "Yes, I'm the younger twin Mira who was born a few seconds later than the time she was born", said Mira. And she can tell that Benjamin was really confused, "Anyways, were you hoping that I was my sister", she asked, "Maybe, but it's ok if I'm talking to you too", he said and that made the younger girl laugh. "It's ok, I'll just call her over. I'm sure Ren-gege and Eiji-nii san doesn't mind either", she said and the younger girl went to go get her sister to talk to him after she finished talking to her friends.

As soon as Miki hears that Benjamin wanted to talk to her, she went over after she finished talking to Ren and Eiji and after excusing herself in front of them too. "Hey there Benjamin, I heard you were hoping to talk to me", the girl asked, "Um yes... no wait no, um.... I hope I wasn't disturbing you in the middle of your conversation", he said. "No it's fine, we were talking about life and what will happen to us in the future", said the young girl. "Nice, and I hope you didn't tell anyone about us, but I also hope you can help me with something else too", said the young boy slowly getting scared if she starts crying out of nowhere and wonder how upset and angry her friends will be once they hear this too along with her family and how his own family will feel about this, and their reputations. "Yeah no one knows, and what is it that you want me to help you with", she asked back and he was relieved that no one else knows about them both. "Well, my friends was using you as a bet against me, and I'm willing to lose this stupid bet of theirs, if it means I can protect you. I mean I like you, but hearing my friends using you as a bet against me. I don't like this idea at all, so I was hoping in order for me to protect you from them and maybe myself, you are willing to come to me in front of them and break up with me", he asked nervously and she looked at him with heartbreak, but she understands that he is doing this as to protect her right now, "Ok, I understand. I'll let you go, I bet you would've been better than Jacob", she said in a monotone voice but with a sad smile, "I'm....." he got interrupted by one of the assistants of one of the families workers, "Ok children, time to join your parents before dinner starts, ok" said the assistant, "Yes ma'am", said all of the children, "Guess that's our cue, I'll see you tomorrow then as promised", said the young girl and walked away before hearing anything from the boy and right then and there he was glad that she understand but also feels heartbroken that he let an amazing girl like her go.

Every single children left the secluded room and join their parents in the ballroom. "Welcome everyone, as you all know that every year each family children around this time at a certain age from almost every family has a pre-destined love from their love, so we will test that today. So this year's family will be......... the Yang family's oldest daughter she's the older twin of the two, it's Miki", said the host. And with that Miki stood up from her seat being escorted to the stage. "Wait if she is chosen this year than me Jacob, Eiji, Kurt, and Ren are chosen this year to see who is destined to be with her but only our family knows and not us until we grow older on our 21st birthday", he thought. "Next year will be her younger twin sister will be chosen next year since we can't do them both this year", said the host and everyone laughed even both of the twin sisters. "Ok can I have the boys in this order of this years chosen ones from these family come up and you can always try again next year if you feel like you don't get this one remember that ok", asked the host, "Ok", said every boy in the room hoping one of the girls are their pre-destined love. Mira on the other hand are hoping the boys from the Collins, Kingsley, Hirose, Miguez, and Liu family. Mira knows that only those boys likes her twin older sister, and their family knows that they like Miki, and so her sister has no objections, but she does hope that her sister will find someone good for her, that will treat her good, and hopefully make her sister happy. Good thing that she can see who is her sister's destined lover but she can't see her own.

~Benjamin's POV~
OMG what do I do? Am I her destined lover or is it someone else? Either way I have to protect her, she's already sad that I asked her to brake up with me already. Ugghhhhh. I'm an idiot, but one day Miki I will win your heart again whether I'm your destined lover or not. And with that each boy put their names in and Mr. Yang went up the stage to get the slip of paper left in the magical hat that burns the rest of the other paper and chooses people's destined lover. As Mr. Yang opens the paper he smiled, and nods his head for the announcer to do say the things that he wanted to say and then move on. Despite Mr. Yang already founding out his daughter's destined lover, Ben still hopes that whoever he is that he will take very good care of Miki in the future and not get hurt like what he had to do to protect the younger girl. And ever since then, he had kept the promise of keeping the young girl safe until one day he had to leave the school away from his friends and family for the continuous studying abroad and so that means he wouldn't be able to watch over and protect Miki anymore and so that's when he had hired spies to watch over her until his studies were over and everyday his spies had made reports about Miki everyday.

~Present day~

Benjamin still remembers that day very clearly and he couldn't stop thinking about it, and the promise he had made that day to himself and for Miki's safety. "Hey Ben we are here. Are you ok", asked Kurt. "Yeah, I was just remembering some things I need to do once I'm inside, thanks for the ride man", said Benjamin. "Yeah, not a problem, besides your car broke down and I just happened to go to the same place as you.", said Kurt. And with that Benjamin left to go inside his company's building and went up into his studio to do his work and hopefully to finish early so that he could go home and think about the offer from Mr. Yang before emailing the man about his decision.

Kurt on the other hand got a message from his company saying that he doesn't need to go in since he had worked so hard last week almost going through his work without a blink of sleep, and that he was allowed to go rest for this week since he did his work earlier and did some other things for the company today with the meeting and SA Ent. " Welp guess I'm going home to see Jay", said Kurt as he started his car and drive to his apartment.

Sorry cuties for not updating the story in a long while maybe longer than that, but school grades and education as my parents had me focused on for today and other stuff I've also been looking for part time jobs and a way to move out a little later but hopefully I can do it . Kinda wanna join people I know in moving out and away from my family and learning independence without depending on someone so much in my life and having people I care get too worked up and built up pressure and burden others when I don't intended to so hopefully I can move out after convincing family and parents to let me learn on my own. I promise I will also make time too, to also update all of my stories so yeah. Please support me and hopefully see you all in the next chapter soon.
