(Y/N) POV

"Like this," I mutter as I burn some engravings into the wood.

"So cool," Rebecca says as I attempt to teach her some ninjutsu.

"Just concentrate and you'll be able to do it too," I say as we continue walking on our journey.

"You said that there might be another Jinchuriki up here?" Cassy asks

"Yes, from what I've gathered, there's been a lot of destruction to the north lately," I tell her as she looks a little concerned.

"I wouldn't worry about the kids. If they stay close and we don't let our guard down I think we can take care of them," I point out

"Right," she says looking unsure about her decision a couple of days ago.

Due to having a toddler travelling with us. Our speed has been greatly reduced when he is awake. Most of the time he is exhausted and is carried by Cassy or myself.

"So...what if it isn't a Jinchuriki?" Cassy asks

"I guess we can deal with it and hope that we can exchange info as payment," I tell her as she nods

"Yeah, probably the best course of action," she mutters.

We separate and I continue teaching the basics of ninjutsu to Rebecca.

The small child is quite intent on learning the ways of the ninja, and she's picking up the topics at a steady rate. Jacob however is still too young to efficiently learn any techniques or knowledge. Plus, he doesn't seem to have much interest in it.

As we walked down the path, I sensed a huge amount of chakra.

"Hold," I say to my group as I raise my fist.

Definitely has the chakra of a tailed beast. However, that's not saying much.

"Stay here, I'll investigate," I say as everyone nods.

I quickly but quietly hone into the source of the chakra.

I rushed into a clearing of the trees as an evil presence fills my bones almost instantly.

"Ahhhhh, I knew it! I knew if we stayed here long enough you'd come!" White Zetsu yells in joy.

Before me, was the Gedo statue. The huge amount of chakra was oozing out of it.

"It's time to collect the one tails. Then we only have another 2 after," he says as he smiles devilishly.

"I'm a little surprised, we have had to move our plan to a much more recent date than we wanted...but it was unavoidable," he says as he licks his lips

"Who do you still need?" I ask as I try to buy time to plan my attacks.

"The one Tail, and then the eight and nine tails...other than the one right ahead of us, the other two will be a great challenge," he says as I notice black Zetsu isn't anywhere in sight...he must be after Cassy.

Almost on cue, I feel something tugging at my conscience.

"Where is the black one?" I ask as the white Zetsu smiles

"I reckon, he is dealing with those kids as the girl watches," he says as I feel even more tugging on my consciences.

I can hear in my head the one tail say, "All of your hard work to socialize with her will be gone if you don't hurry,"

On cue, I back step into the forest and rush toward where I left them.

The white Zetsu was right behind me as he attempted to slow me down.

"Fire Ball!," I yell as a ball of flames go hurdling toward him.

The trees burn down as angry sparks follow behind the destruction.

He gets close to me and his hand morphs into a spear-like shape. He thrusts it toward me, and I barely dodge it. My momentum was changed and I slammed into a tree.

The Zetsu didn't wait for me to get back up as I feel a sharp pain in my leg. He's spear is embedded in my leg

"Screw off!" I yell as I activate a Jutsu that makes my breath fire. I burn him to a crisp as the pain starts pulsing up my leg.

After everything within 20 meters ahead of me is burned to the ground, I continue my rush toward Cassy and the kids.

Every step I felt like vomiting.

You're a ninja, you are used to pain.

"No!" I hear a sharp scream as everyone comes into view.

The Black Zetsu had impaled Jacob and he was smiling wickedly at Cassy and Rebecca.

"Oi!" I yell at the top of my lungs. When he looks at me, I throw some kunai.

He jumps away from Jacob which is what I wanted. The kunai dart past him...or so he thinks.

He smiles at me, as I control the wind to change the course of the kunai.

Three of them hit the back of his neck as the other two sail past him.

"Clever!" He says as he sprints toward me

"I better take care of you first!" He yells.

"Take care of Jacob! Use some of that Medical Ninjutsu I've taught you!" I yell to both Cassy and Rebecca as they attend to Jacob.

The black Zetsu is about to reach me now. At just the right time, I jump, relieving the pressure off my broken leg, and then with my good leg, I slam a powerful kick into the side of his face.

He goes flying into a couple of trees

"Impressive," Another White Zetsu says right beside my ear.

I jump to get away, but I'm too slow, he lands a punch that sends me into the muddy dirt.

My injuries must be affecting my ability to check on my surroundings.

"Your tough I'll give you that," The white Zetsu says to me as the Black one comes back from the tree line.

"You won't last long though, even if you do survive our initial attack, you won't last long," they both say in unison.

"We will see," I mutter as they both come at me at the same time.

I activate my sharingan, but even then it was difficult to track them. They both reached me at the same time and we engaged in a Taijutsu fight.

I perfectly dodged each and every one of their attacks.

"Come here you weasel!" Black Zetsu says as I deliver a perfectly timed punch to his face.

"Shut up," I say as I kick the White Zetsu.

I continued my attack on both of them, combining kicks, and punches in random combinations.

"Flaming fist," I think as I do extremely quick hand signals and my fist lights on fire.

The next blow to Black Zetsu sent him flying out of the battle zone. I won't need to worry about him.

I turned to white Zetsu and was about to do the same. However, my injured leg gave up, and I collapsed to the ground.

"Finally kicking in," he mutters as his hand morphs into the spear again.

"Time to end this," he says as he is about to impale me again, I roll out of the way, and with every ounce of strength I could give, I take my knife and decapitate him.

His body turns into goo and he gets absorbed into the earth.

I look around to ensure that they were gone, and they didn't come back.

I looked toward Cassy and the kids, Cassy was giving Jacob medical treatment. Cassy isn't the best at medical ninjutsu, but I was able to teach her how to use it in its simplest form

I went to start moving over there but I couldn't. Instead, my leg gave out once again and I fell.

The pain was pulsing, but I could tell that I was poisoned.

I tried to focus my chakra on my leg, but nothing happened.

"I'm down for the count," I mutter underneath my breath as darkness fills my vision.

Author Note- Sorry for the long span of time between this and the last update. In honesty, I had it done like 3 weeks ago, but I wasn't happy with where the story was headed and just seemed a little rushed. So I spent a little time thinking about to do and I rewrote most of it and I think it's a little better.
