Rebecca POV Memory

"Momma!" Jacob says as I hold him.

"Be quiet! They will find us!" I tell him.

"Shhh," Mom whisper as we stay quiet

"I don't think there are any kids," a man says

"No, they are in here somewhere," another says.

"I Love you two," mom whispers as she holds us. Her soft breath calmed my heart. Her embrace made me feel warm.

Suddenly, the door opens and a man walks in

"Found you," he says as he pulls a knife out and thrusts it toward Mom. She didn't move, all she did was hug Jacob and I tightly.

"Please don't forget...Momma loves you," were the last words she would ever speak.

Cassy POV

My vision came back and I had my arms wrapped around Rebecca and Jacob.

"It's ok now," I say as my body feels abnormally light.

"I got you," I say reassuring myself.

They must be afraid of me...after seeing it.

"Cassy," I hear Rebecca say

"Yeah?" I say looking down at her face.

"Thank you," she says with tears in her eyes and she hugs me tightly. It was different then she usually does.

"Our Mom...she died hugging us like this," she says as my heart breaks

"You shouldn't have gone through that," I say as I pull her closer. I picked both Rebecca and Jacob up and brought them inside.

"What happened!" Rosie asks concerned.

"Some people had them...they...they are gone now," I say.

I don't remember what happened...but I know...I know I turned into the one tailed beast...or at the very least, I lost my control over it. I look at Rebecca, she looked a little shaken up. But it's hard to tell if it's because of the kidnappers or the tailed beast.

I set them down and Rosie looks over them.

"Get the med kit," she asks me as I nod.

I grab a medical kit that was stashed in the bathroom. She quickly starts tending to the bruises they had.

"If only I had some ice," she mutters as I remember.

"(Y/N) taught me how to use some ninjutsu. She taught me a little of everyone, including water...I can probably get it pretty cool, not ice level, but pretty cold," I say as she nods

"Grab some bags, and fill them please," she asks me as I nod.

I filled some bags up with cold water and tried to cool them down even more. I didn't do it very well, but they were colder then before.

"Here," I say handing Rosie the bags.

All together we held the bags on the bruised areas for a while.

"That should be good enough," she mutters as I nod.

"It may hurt later, but I know you can handle it," Rosie says to Rebecca as she nods silently.

"I'll go to bed now...I'm pretty tired," I say as Rosie stops me

"They should join you, I don't want Jacob waking up with only his sister beside him," Rosie says.

"I don't think Rebecca would want that...not after she saw what I am," I say with a little shame

"That's not true!" Rebecca says suddenly.

I looked at her eyes. They told me that she was sincere.

"I'm ok with it if you are," I tell her as she nods

"It's settled," Rosie says as she helps me get the two children into my temporary room.

Rosie left as soon as we put them in bed.

I followed suit and get in beside them.

Rebecca almost instantly snuggled against me. She hugged me tightly for what seemed to be an hour.

"I was really scared," she whispers as I pet her hair.

"It's ok, your safe now. They were stopped," I told her.

"I know," she says.

"Are you gonna leave us when (Y/N) comes back?" She asks me.

I haven't even told myself the answer to that question...I don't know.

"I'm not sure," I tell her

"Is that the truth?" She asks as I nod

"I haven't decided yet," I say

"I don't want you to leave," she tells me.

"You...remind us of her...of our Momma...it's nice, and sad at the same time," she says as I feel my pyjamas getting wet where her head is.

"I wouldn't just up and abandon you, if I do go with (Y/N) I'll make sure I come to visit every now and then," I tell her.

"You promise?" She asks.

"I promise," I tell her.
