If you think about it, Transfiguration is kinda like wizarding crafts. You take one thing and turn it into another. I wish Muggle Transfiguration went as quickly as the Wizarding kind.

For me, 2017 has been the year of Harry Potter crafts. Apart from many drawings and sketches, I've also made some stuff.

Project number 1: A Ravenclaw scarf

So, I've wanted a house scarf for the longest time, but they are expensive (and with the exchange rate and shipping it's worse). I ended up making myself one. When it's draped across the back of my neck, it reaches my feet on either side.

Project number 2: A Ravenclaw beanie

I needed this to go with the scarf. I may be no Ellie, but I think it came out pretty well in the end.

Project 3: Ravenclaw fingerless gloves

I needed to complete the Ravenclaw winter look. These actually took surprisingly short and are great for cold days. My hands always freeze and these help a little but I can still do stuff.

I'm a proud Ravenclaw!

Project 4 (ongoing): House crest blanket

Sorry that the edges are curling over (and about all the threads I still need to cut off). This one is taking a very long time. The only pattern I could find online wasn't free so I made my own design with the help of a spreadsheet (which I'm also using to track progress). It's going slowly (and using a ton of wool), but it will be amazing when it's finished!

Project 5: 2018 Diary (ongoing)

Yes, I'm aware of how close the end of the year is. It's at the end of this week (aka tomorrow)! You don't need to remind me. I'm just trying to get the basic diary done by then. I'll illustrate it later. I'm starting with university at the start of next year and am super excited to use this diary.

So yeah, that's my Muggle Transfiguration for the year. I won't be able to do as much in 2018. I hope to make another diary though!
